Cieli di Seta

I am actually in love with this one. The Cieli is one of the best in this line for sure. I could smell the blueberry from start to end - though it does get muskier as time goes by. Highly underrated. It pains me to see this voted so lowly here (3.48 at the time of writing). I think this fragrance is a solid fruity fragrance, and I'll catch a full bottle if I have the chance.

This scent is fresh, watery, and slightly tart—like a blueberry. As a blueberry lover, I blind bought it, but blueberry-based perfumes often feel like they’re missing something. Since the fruit itself doesn’t have a strong scent, we tend to associate its aroma with its taste. For me, this perfume lacks a bit of that ripe blueberry sweetness. Scent-wise, I pick up violet and iris notes, similar to Violette and Eau des Fées by Fragonard, or even La Vie de Boheme by Anna Sui (though a bit sweeter). It’s not a direct match, but it shares a similar vibe. Compared to Show Me Love by Escada, another blueberry-focused perfume, this one is less fruity and tart. Show Me Love has more of a red berry and cassis mix, but still captures more of that blueberry feel than Cieli di Seta. So far, it hasn’t been very long-lasting, but perfumes like this aren’t usually known for their longevity. I’ll let it macerate and see if it improves. It’s a great spring and summer scent—perfect for anyone looking for something refreshing. Ideal for a young teen or someone sensitive to strong scents—it’s clean, fresh, and the bottle is beautiful! I like it for spring and summer, whenever you want to feel refreshed. I would say that suits perfectly to a young teen, or someone who is very sensitive to perfumes. It's clean and fresh. The bottle is pretty.

Freshly picked blueberries. Tart, plump, juicy. You get some greeness from the stems. Unlike Amethyst by Lalique which is also like fresh picked berries, this one has a bit of sweetness. Not too much though, just enough so that it's nicely balanced. Dries down to the same as the others I own from this line (Giungle and Giardini), a woody musky skin scent. I get about 4 hours, moderate performance. Quite similar to Jo Malone Poppy and Barley, and considering performance and longevity are about the same, you're getting more bang for your buck here. Very cute bottles. Although not juvenile, this line in general would be perfect for a young girls first fragrance.

Most realistic blueberry perfume I’ve smelled so far, that’s mostly what I get, fresh blueberries. I have a couple other perfumes with a blueberry note and they are so weak, this is more average sillage and longevity. My teenage daughter said “something smells like candy.” the first time I wore it. I layered it with Juliette Has a Gun’s Not a Perfume Superdose to give it some oomph, they pair well together. I could see this easily layering with many perfumes to add a blueberry note to them, even the box says to layer it with others from the same line or wear alone.

This one is unique, airy, and ohhhhh so pretty. It has a delicate blend of silk, blueberry, musk, and black pepper that feels so light and feminine. The scent is soft, yet it stands out in its own quiet way. It’s like a gentle breeze on a warm day effortlessly graceful, with just the right touch of sweetness and spice. It’s one of those perfumes that wraps you in a soft, almost ethereal aura ... Definitely a fragrance for when you want to feel elegant, light, and feminine without being overwhelming. The opening is fruity and sweet - the blueberry is there in a pretty realistic way for about 15/20 minutes. It develops into the ‘Silk Thread’ accord (developed especially for this range). I did some additional reading and it turns out 'Silk Thread' is made out a few different notes, including iris, leather and Timut Pepper. On me, it smells like suede / leather with a hint of iris. The peppery notes also come out in dry down. I personally didn't get any musk. Longevity is poor.

I get nothing but ambroxan here, which is a huge disappointment. If, like me, you're extra sensitive to that note, beware that this ends up smelling exactly the same as every cheapie ambrox bomb at Marshall's. I really wanted to like this! I blind bought the entire line, mostly for the bottles and for what I thought would be thoughtful blends. Ocean and Jungle are the other two I've sampled so far and I like (not love) them both. I'll try this again another day and hope for improvement.

Gorgeous bottle... unfortunately the scent is just straight up pepper to my nose. I can't smell any blueberry no matter how hard I try.
