F for Fascinating

I am pretty sure that there's a strong *tea* note in this fragrance! The aridity in that note is reminiscent of JLo's 'Still'... The citrus is prominent as is the tea note, and the citrus, patch and jasmine are there like calming whispers... This fragrance doesn't seem synthetic to my nose; it's classy, fresh, arid, and not too sweet...My friend John noticed I was wearing it and commented that he 'liked it a lot!' He's picky, so I know he meant what he said, lol... The longevity is average to mild, and the sillage is moderate...The scent clings to clothes in the most lovely manner, and the drydown is much more citrusy compared to its initial presence upon spraying... ♥

My gosh, ppl r all over the page w this one. Some think it's plain, others that it's weak n some say it's not special well to me n on my dry, olive skin it is amazingly strong so use sparingly cuz this is potent. Spice, slighly bitter in a good way n Katerina says, it does capture something very unique. I liked it very much n wore for a while but then had remorse. Maybe it takes time to grow on u. But last week I smelled it on a lady in Vegas n thot WOW what is that n had to ask her and it was this n i thot OH GOOD GLAD I HAVE IT!!

Ive had this perfume for a while and sometimes forget how nice it is. Is like all my best memories in life come together in one fragrance. Its mellow, yet stunning, you will get compliments. So feminine and always fresh. Long lasting but never overpowering, however, a little goes a long way.

I am coming to the conclusion that I love ALL my Ferragamo perfumes!! The original, the gorgeous Subtil, the Fascinating and all the Incanto summers versions!! This house is just FANTASTIC!! Just like Moschino, great quality for a great price! Good luck! Action

I just received this scent and I like it very much. My daughter likes it too. It is not too sweet but a nice fruity scent more than floral.

Fascinating is an original. On me the strongest notes are orange & patchouli (which I don't gravitate towards). I gave it to my younger sister and it smelled pleasant on her. Some how the patchouli beomes almost powdery on her. This perfume is very unique; if you are into patchouli this perfume maybe worth a try. I sampled this yesterday and I immediately recoiled. I am sure that it smells great on some people but the citrus blast with the strong flowers hurt my nose to the point I felt dizzy. I am sure this has a lot of projection but it died down quickly on my skin so I think the longevity is short lived. My husband couldn't smell it on my arm (I used two small sprays) an hour later. The bottle itself is quirky and has a white plastic piece that sort of "floats" above the sprayer after the cap is removed. It's unique. The color of the EDT itself was a beautiful peony like shade of pink. For the price ($14.99 @ TJMaxx, USA) if you like chypre florals w/citrus this may be something worth investigating! :)

Initially a very normal, everyday scent. I definitely expected more from this. Not fascinating at all. Neutral, simple and inoffensive.. It's not a bad fragrance, but there are definitely better and more interesting options in its price range. Strangely enough it is one of those scents that make me feel better when I'm down. When I'm low on energy or feeling nauseous F for Fascinating will make it better. My nausea will disappear and I'll be high on energy again. Personally I don't care much for the scent, but the fact that is works almost like a medicine for me makes me appreciate it more.

I agree with velvetrose23. This is a simple, bright clean scent perfect for VERY hot weather. It's not a "Hey, I'm here, and I'm going to make you mine" kind of perfume. It's more something that says: "That's right, I always smell like I just stepped out of the shower. Even when it's 100 degrees out, I am always cool." Sometimes, that's all I want. Value: I have a tendency to justify higher price tags for scents that have complexity, or make a statement. This is an affordable fragrance commensurate to what it does: extend a sense of cleanliness.

Pretty, inoffensive, clean, office -friendly, fresh-floral scent. The jasmine is soft and delicate,almost shy. The mandarin note is sweet and calm. All in all, a fragrance for those women who want a clean, out of the shower type of fragrance. It's not cheap nor chemical smelling, but it's not fascinating either IMO.

First I was avoiding this one, it just didn't look like it could smell very nice. And when I tried it, I was still doubting but I forced myself and was using it for few days and now I really like it. Though it doesn't have a lot of different notes it definetly smells more complex. I could wear this anywhere.

This is a fresh breeze in a bottle! Soft and clean with sweet citrus mingling in the background, not sour which it often is and the patchouli is perfect not too soily. I like it a lot. Perfect for the upcoming Spring.

Good sparkling citrus and a hint of pink sweetness, but still I think it's too creamy and too floral.

This was my first perfume before getting into the scent game- the top note of mandarin isn't evident until after it dries down for me, but the jasmine and patchouli are pretty evident. There's some spice to it, definite floral notes above all else. The main issue I have with it is how weak it is- I like in a hot and humid climate, and this becomes a skin scent within the hour for me. There's no sillage to speak of, and the longevity is maybe three hours max. I've had slightly better success spraying this on my clothes, but not by much. I will say that I keep it around because of what it evokes- this isn't an alluring scent, it feels much more like stepping out on a hot day after taking a shower. There's a freshness and brightness to it that makes me use it for myself, not for others (mainly because there's no sillage LOL).

This fragrance smells sweet orange citruses, but not heavy or sickly sweet. Even it reminds me a wild strawberry scent. Nice and joyful fragrance. But considering my experience of wearing fragrances with sweet citruses, I am not sure that I will handle it for a long time.

Nah, I don't really think so. I mean I get the tangerine - juicy, but quite generic and sour and a small sign of florals - not particularly jasmine one. Light, safe, but to me it doesn't smell like a perfume, but more like a product you use to wash the dishes.

It was my blind buy as a special offer to my purchase...but this was a bad choice. After a while it smells awful even though it ́s only an edt...no development, just ugly chemical smell. every simple scent from a drug store would do better! a big no for me!

Unfortunately this turned into a hairspray on my skin. It start fresh and sweet than turn into a synthetic fume within half an hour. Staying power is strong. I smelled it all day

F for Fascinating is very pink and girly. In a way it is subtle, especially with its clean-like quality. It smells to me like a very feminine bar of soap. Clean and pretty. The mandarin orange isn't too strong in F for Fascinating, in fact it is somewhat synthetic. However this aspect does not bother me. Honestly this fragrance can give you a bad headache if you over-apply. As soon as the patchouli kicks in, it takes on a whole new meaning of sillage. I do love the patchouli though. It gives this fragrance that interesting earthiness. I'm not too familiar with chypres as I haven't been exposed to many, but from what I've experienced here in this fragrance, I understand the concept a lot better. F for Fascinating is simplistic yet fashionable. The lasting power is very good. I'm actually excited to wear this fragrance during Spring and Summer.

I like this scent very much. It is very similar to carolina herrera chic, although less sweet and gourmand. Like in Chic, the orange scent acquires a sweet lovely tinge of mango. The scent is very much intermediate between sweet orange and mango, although as time goes by, it gets more orangeish and less mangoish. That is my opinion. Like it very much, and so do I like Chic. Do not think any of them is superior to the other though. Each one smells beautiful in its own slightly different character. As I said, Chic is sweeter and more gourmand, F for fascinating is more sober, less sweet, less gourmand, maybe straighter, drier and sort ot more balanced (but I did not say better balanced). And a thing I love about this perfume is its name. F for fascinating. I think it is beautiful. I will buy the night version.

I think it is a very good equivalent for Chance Eau Tendre, I have been using both and this one is extremely similar, maybe not so long lasting and a bit sharp and sour, but these two smell like the same expensive shampoo, though I don't claim they are bad scents, actually they are very pleasant, tasty and suitable for summer days. It can also be successfully worn in the office. When I am using this one I feel fresh all day, I am also fond of juicy fruits highly noticeable. Great fragrance for reasonable price, a must-have for girls in love with CC Chance Eau Tendre, especially to have the cheaper version for every-day usage. Longevity and silage are satisfactory: I can feel it through long hours and I was certain it’s inoffensive whilst my boyfriend is always commenting on how strong I smell.

This fragrance, for me, only works in warm weather. It produces a soft,clean,fresh citrus scent on my skin in the spring and summer. It's been a great choice to wear for outdoor events. Not cloying,or over powering. Kind of like a fresh citrus soapy smell,like you've just stepped out of the shower. Good choice for when I'm going to be around a lot of people,and I don't want my perfume to be the focus of attention. This is not a unique perfume by any means. I'm sure there are plenty of perfumes,or body sprays with this kind of smell. The longevity,and sillage is moderate in the spring and summer. I can not smell this perfume in the fall or winter. The cooler air stifles this fragrance where I live. I purchased this perfume from an outlet store for only $7.

Despite the 3 ingredients, I feel it on my skin as a fruity scent.Had a sample of 1.3ml edt. Jasmine combined with mandarin must give this effect to the nose. Fruity, then patchouli is coming, and this warm floral fragrance appears. It evolved nicely. Vanilla is not, at least on my skin, does not even resemble. Jasmine distinctly with patchouli. Yes. Durability average, 6 hours, then barely 2 hours but less noticeable. No, I would not say, but nice, correct, pretty elegant, echoing somewhere Modern Muse, no gravity, it's also a plus. I did wear it just for a while, I do not know if I buy a bottle. I would like to get a gift

Some perfumes don't wear their names really well, and f for fascinating is unfortunately one of those perfumes. Indeed, it is a pleasant smell but I'm sorry to say that it is far from being fascinating. When I sprayed it on the first thing that came to my mind was that it smelled really pink as in grapefruit-ish. I would say that the only adjective that come to mind is pleasant, a bit like the friend that you're happy to see once in a while only to realize that you don't have nothing much to discuss. Overall f for fascinating is completely inoffensive, which is also its main weakness

F for Fascinating is a combination of patchoulized jasmine and syrupy mandarine. A sugarized fruity floral scent for a very feminine or girly one--it's nice and sweet. My tooth aches when I test this perfume as it's a bit too surgary for me. I wish that F for Fascinating had more tartness from its citrus in the top note to help balance things out. A little depth is needed for a scent to be fascinating. I like the drydown better as the surgariness fades away. Moderate sillage and lasting power. Almost Fascinating :o)

I bought this perfume mostly based on the positive review and the perfume pyramid. Well, the smell is not bad, but not my kind of scent. I also think that my chemistry does not really match with this perfume. It has some kind of synthetic smell, yes. And the lasting power is pretty strong. It reminds me more to an air fresher than a perfume. Edit: can be pretty nice and flowery if used on hot summer day. That's what I did and was quite suprised to like it so. It smells completely else like this.

Light, airy, citrusy floral - the mandarin is very prominent at the beginning and blends in with the jasmine after 15 minutes. It's like you're peeling a sweet mandarin and then the breeze carries the scent of jasmine flowers growing just outside the window. This perfume is perfect for warm days - late spring up to early autumn. Safe for work? Yes, even in clinical settings. Fascinating? Not really.

This one is very straightforward. You know you are getting Mandarin Orange (main) with some jasmine and patchouli. Orange is the most noticeable note for the first few hours, and then it fades out to just the jasmine and patchouli. It's not overly sweet, smells nice. I wouldn't describe it as "Fascinating." Very wearable for daytime and office. Not my thing though...

Love love love love it! Need another bottle! It has a hair salon type smell on the dry down. Shampoo, sparkling jasmine, warm flat irons. A great floral chypre. Gosh I love this! It lasts and lasts! Think Bath & Body Works Mad About You but with less fruits/vanilla & more jasmine/ patchouli. What an affordable quality perfume! If u can find it under $30 get it!

Wonderful perfume wearable all seasons and for all ages. Long lasting a little spicy and fruity. The Jasmine note is not heavy, thats really good. S Ferragamo has captured a higly reccommended combination which will not let you down. Overall I am glad with my choise, that is really a high class perfume which can stand out. Do not overspray. The notes cooperatively mingle together to create a pleasant, inoffensive and refreshingly light scent. The notes balance perfectly on me. Citrus, slightly sweet, and a small hint of floral. This perfume isn't at all unique, but somehow it's special to me, probably because of its simplicity.

This one smells like sweet mandarin with alil more sugar...lol that didn't even make sense..but it doesn't smell synthetic or anything...dry down is actually nice..good 3 combo..you can definitely smell all the 3 notes at the same time...doesn't confuse my nose lol and give me a headache....

I was sampling a lot of scents at a store recently, and this really stood out for me. Of course, I'm a big fan of chypre florals, but this wasn't nearly as heavy as some of the others I own (like Lolita Lempicka). The floral notes stood out more for me. Now I need to test on my skin....

got this yesterday and its great,i met my husband for breakfast and he said i smelt good!!! so this is a keeper he only has said that about one other perfume i have,and i have many. i will be buying this again when i run low.it is a pleasant fresh smell:)

Despite some of the reviews this is not a bad scent! If you like strong patchouli/citrusy/jasmine scents this is just for you! Despite having very few notes and being an edt this really does live up to a typical strong and in your face Italian fragrance!

got it for £3.00 so I can't complain, however it is a rather dull 'fresh' composition which doesn't smell natural to me or lift my mood. I shall try it again when the weather warms up, even so, I think I prefer my Escada for a bit of summery trash.
