Foreste di Seta

This is a fresh aromatic masculine leaning gem. You are walking through the pine forest when you stumble upon a mint bush as you crush a few of those leaves you feel a burst of freshness hit your senses. As you walk barefoot through the forest floor you can't help but feel the cold earth below. There's no denying you are in the middle of the forest lost in the sensory bliss of trees, greenery, and earthy tones and there's nowhere else you'd rather be than in this moment right here right now. Love!

Normally I avoid masculine-leaning scents, but I bought this for completeness as I have the other five from the line. Oh my goodness, what a revelation. Damp, earthy, woody...all the notes I don’t usually enjoy but they just seem to work here. The dry down is muted and musky. Longevity isn’t too bad either, although like the rest of the di Seta range (I find) it doesn’t project much. That doesn’t really bother me, I just respray regularly and constantly sniff my wrist!

I actually really loved this one. It is silky green mildly woody/nutty scent. Very delicate, slightly sweet, unisex and very versatile. Also works for layering

Despite the attractive bottle, Foreste di Seta fares below most others in terms of approachability. It's not a bad scent, (unlike Giungle di Seta, which is horrendous,) but it can't hope to compete with the others in the Seta line. I find Foreste di Seta to be too 'green' for my taste. It starts with a mumble jumble of bittery green stuff which I cannot quite define and settles down into a better, but still, dark green scent, which I am not too fond of. It does capture the image of the forest well, but not the refreshing, invigorating kind; rather, it's the kind of dark forest filled with herbs that rarely see the sun. The fragrance, despite being labelled as unisex, leans towards masculine side. Again, it's not 'bad', but it's just not the kind of scent that I like. Maybe it smells too mature for me due to the vetiver and clary sage?

The most prominent note in Foreste di Seta is sage, which gives the fragrance a herbal quality. While this may appeal to some, it felt rather one-dimensional to me. The lack of complexity and depth in the scent made it come across as generic, reminiscent of any cheap aromatherapy herbal scent. One aspect that particularly surprised me was the absence of any hint of wood. The name "Foreste di Seta" implies a connection to the forest, and I anticipated a rich woody element. However, the fragrance failed to deliver in this regard. The lack of wood notes made the overall composition feel incomplete and lacking in character. In terms of performance, Foreste di Seta falls short once again. It has no sillage to speak of, additionally, the longevity of the perfume is quite poor, lasting a mere few hours on my skin before fading away completely. Considering the lackluster performance and the generic scent, I found it hard to justify the price tag attached to this perfume. In my opinion, Foreste di Seta smells and performs worse than the inexpensive aromatherapy herbal scents available in the market. It simply doesn't offer anything unique or memorable. While it may appeal to those who enjoy light herbal fragrances, I would recommend exploring other options before committing to this perfume.

I received a sample of this and I find this very herbal and minty on me. I am not considering on purchasing this because I don't like this on my skin but I like it as a room freshener.

I saw the poor reviews. I knew there were too many for it to be wrong and I walked away from buying this at Ross for 40.00 and yet it haunted me... This perfume that is a blind buy.... Life has been very challenging for me lately and this has been calling out for me. So I drove 20 miles to buy it! I get it home, spray some into the air and it smells like a man's cologne , especially with the vetiver. I decided to see how it plays out on my skin. The first impression I got was salt. That faded quickly into the background and it's detectable, along with the vetiver and a incense vibe. It's not for me. I am going to give it to my daughter's fiance.

It's herbal and minty fresh, I like it more when I layer it with any other fragrance. It's more of a versatile fragrance, everyone should own it!

I like it, nice longevity and projection, I ́m a man and a friend (girl) said that I smelled like a woman. Might not wear again lol.

It's smells like tea, so fresh and boost lifting, on my opinion
