Golden Acacia

I bought Incense Suede from the same collection first, cause its much closer to what I usually wear and like, but I remember sampling this and being really surprised with it. I didn't know what I was smelling, I don't have any references from nature of opoponax or broom or acacia or whatever its called. I decided it was good but not for me cause I told myself I don't wear sweet perfumes. Well now I guess I do! Golden Acacia was just so mysterious, so warm and summery, so deliciously carnal and yet innocent... I could not resist. I know it probably works better as a winter scent but to me Golden Acacia evokes the languorous midday heat of summer, when the bushes and shrubs and trees on the hillside all bake in their own warm, dry scents, when people siesta indoors and fan themselves to escape the windless heat. To this dry summer haze add some dark, ebony colored undertones to the bottom (is it myrrh? A dab of oud? Theres definitely musk and a healthy squirt of civet lurking in there) and on top, a radiant, biblical honey that seems to stand for all that is good and sweet in the world. I tend to see scents in terms of colors and to me this is a lustrous black highlighted with a golden , molten yellow. So this is the perfume that charmed away my stubborn "no sweet scents" rule, and now I don't even know what I like or don't like anymore. At this rate I'll be wearing vanilla and tonka bombs by summer. Identity crisis confirmed.

This is like ambrosia, stimulating multiple receptors, seeming to elicit a reflexive salivation. A tribute to black locust honey, Golden Acacia does share its orange blossom and genet floral facets, its sweetly nutty character, but it also seems to include the whole honeycomb, some royal jelly and propolis. It's sweet, but it's that visceral sweetness of honey, raw and someone acidic, with a sliver of toasted marshmallow Maillard reaction (always my favorite part was that burnt, toasty outer layer of the confection). It may just be the power of suggestion, but I feel like a beeswax material makes an appearance here as well. At its core it's opaque and unctuous, revealing the slightest undercurrent of skank, and when there's some evaporation, there's a lovely, powdery opoponax accord and growing muskiness contrast with the lingering sweetness. It is such a delicious wear. It is worth noting that the somewhat urine-like quality that comes from a significant honey accord is dialed down here, just hinting at that in the periphery. If one finds Anatole Lebreton's Bois Lumière or Serge Lutens' Miel de Bois to be a bit too challenging (I do especially love the Lebreton for this very reason), Golden Acacia may be more your speed.

Incredible ! It's amber done at its best, mixed with heavy and sweet honey... if you like honey you know that Acacia honey is a light coloured honey that has a very floral aroma, made by bees from collecting nectar in Acacia blooming trees, and it is quite different than other varieties of honey. This perfume manages to capture that quite literarily, and it is superbly executed. Well worth the high price. Silage and lasting power are both above average, especially above the average of today's perfumes. I think it's unisex leaning female most of the time. There is an animalic vibe and that normally bring a "stink" character into play, but it is so well done here that it just smells sexy. The presentation is beautiful too. Definitely better suited for evenings and cold weather, or special occasions, but I think you can enjoy it in small doses any time. I don't detect any patchouli, and I am quite sensitive to it. The only other scent that I know of, with a similar honey in it, it's the Serge Lutens Miel de Bois, which is long time discontinued. Golden Acacia is a true masterpiece, not cheap but it screams quality in every aspect. Still, try before you buy. Wonderful !

Orginaldeftom hit this one on the nail with the opening blast of honey mixed with opoponax, myrrh and patchouli. When you smells this juice you would think that it's the nectar from the ancient Greek God's. Amber is the last perfect ingredient that makes this juice everything you want. The overall vib gives you a luxurious, elegant and sexy aroma. There's just a smig of floral notes to balance this fragrance. Longevity and Silage is excellent lasting over 8hrs Finally, If someone told me that I would spend close to two hundred dollars or more for a fragrance, I would of told them no f * * * * way. Well I did and without any hesitation. A very creamy warm almost vanilla vib to this GEM. I will buy another bottle after this one is almost empty. This juice is excellent during the fall / winter months making it a very deep long lasting aroma. If you spray it once on your chest/body before going to bed with your partner and I can guarantee you that you won't have enough energy to go to work the next day. Definitely a real nieche EDP fragrance. Easy...10/10

I love it! Funnily enough it was Bulgari's "Man" that made me fall in love with honey notes. But in "Man" it is obviously far more subtle. This is a HONEY BOMB! I mean literally, imagine you fall head first into an entire beehive, surrounded by Broom bushes and Acacia trees in full bloom. There is a slight furniture polish note in there as well, perhaps it's the faint patchouli. It is just so divine. I can imagine this to work brilliantly with a mimosa soliflore fragrance for layering. Perhaps add any Mimosa to this or another Neroli based frag, perhaps even a rose and this will glow on forever. True honey-dripping and opoponax heavy drenched juice of radiant golden skin sexiness. There is some apothecary honey lozenge quality to it but it is just too "pretty" to be just labelled as gourmand. A pleasant surprise from a house that until recently had rather lacklustre releases. Kudos to the mastermind of this collection. The bottles are also fantastic and I am so gonna buy this next week! 10/10 for a reference honey scent. Truly epic.

This was the first fragrance from the niche ferragamo line "Tuscan scent" that i have tried and my oh my was it love at first sniff 😍😍😍 A amber, honey syrupy thick fragrance that is just blended so well quite contrary to how it sounds if a female were to wear this it would be in the most alluring way. It being sweet and dense i would keep this strictly to one spray night time in summer/spring have to keep it modest on the trigger. Cold wear up to 6 sprays max.... yes it might still seem heavy to some but im team over sprayer here :) My daily driver currently in this cold weather, which i highly recommend for everyone to smell for themselves. It runs into the tabacolor esque territory I have a few offerings from there niche line for sale along with alot of discontinued/rare/vintage/designer fragrances that i am decluttering some of which im able to be competitive to discounters. This reminds me of some places i have been to around the world. Maybe a message shop run by old Thai lady, or a thrift shop in small town far from the city.But I am sure this smells like that smoke shop i passed by in Melbourne city. The smell is related to hippie life style, where psychedelic stuff is going around. This scent can describe what is meant by niche fragrance. If you are new to perfumes collecting this can make you nauseated when you smell it, but i do love it because it got enough power to hack my brain and take me back to some old days.

Bought this one yesterday. I wanted something different than the Ouds and fresh's etc. I sampled this one a while back but it took some time to grow on me. The honey is there, its very sweet. But it's different. I love it but it's not typical. Maybe not for everyone. Sample before you buy it. In Canada it's $270, so you want to be sure. ;)

Shocking. First word that comes to mind. This is a sticky sweet blast of honey - straight from a comb even. Raw, yet refined. Linear with the best dry down of any fragrance I have committed to memory. this is undeniable and lovely, long lasting, elegant stuff. WOW.

This is my new go-to scent! Golden Acacia is so warm and inviting. It's sweet without being overpowering, and the honey note is divine. I get compliments on it all the time.

Ha! I love how the guy below called it skanky! That makes me want to wear it even more. Even tho I ain't no skank! I layer it with a bit of a leather fragrance. Luxury!

Update: this is a very oily dense dark parfum - it stains my skin and light clothing. Fantastic. But be careful with the application!

honied baby powder....yes, old women use baby powder as well, but for me it is amazing, not at all old lady-ish

I obtained a sample of this one yesterday when I bought Tom Ford Noir Anthracite.This starts out as a honey bomb. A full blast of pure, subtlety sweet honey. A tad powdery, but to me leans more masculine. I do like this one, but there is something about it I do not like, or rather I am not used to. It smells old (in a weird good way) and can be cloying. A interesting scent, and I must say I have slept on this house and discovered a line I may perhaps enjoy. This fragrance will have to be worn a few more times to get a full impression, but initially I do like it, but not love it. 6.5/10

It's thick and warm, just like a honey, lot of honey that can drown a colony of bee. There's a yellow floral to make it even more honey nuance. The rest is strong resinous warm amber and opoponax, and an enough dose of woody earthy dirty patchouli. Definitely not for everybody but I kinda like it!

Upon the first spray, you can smell a little hint of floral. Just a little then it turns into a very sweet and thickly warm honey. As someone who loves amber, I think the amber in this fragrance is overshadowed by honey. Not a bad thing tho, as this scent will be my to go scent during rainy days.

Shocking. Unconventional. Sharp. Smell like a beast... a bear dirty of beeswax. I mean I like someway. But it is really borderline. Smell like the skin or maybe the house of a dirty old woman.. museum scent.

This is a bit too sweet for me but is a lovely musky honey. The patch definitely should rank higher in the notes. That's what makes it a little skanky.

Goopy and musky honey with a slight animalic feel. Challenging yet interesting and unique

This is probably the strongest scent out of all the Tuscan Soul scents. It's a boozy honey bomb that lasts forever! This isn't for me, much too brass and in your face.
