La Corte (2016)

It's so addictive.. Reminds me of some recently popular summer coconut fragrances (Guerlain Terracotta, Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Kilian Moonlight in Heaven) which is a bit overdone, but this is better since it's technically not even the same theme :p *update: After extensive comparisons, I believe I made the right choice acquiring this one over other similar sweet white florals in the price range e.g. Gardenia Petale (VC & A) and Come L'Amore (Bois 1920); although Le Labo's Jasmin 17 & Lys 41 make me have second-thoughts, they're 3x more expensive!

One of the prettiest white floral perfumes I had pleasure of smelling. It was a blind buy and I decided to go for an old version instead of new one. It's very similar to Goutal's Songes, but that has zero longevity on me, so I am glad I picked up La Corte. Lasts a good few hours, starts as a very forward white floral, and progressively gets sweeter, until in the end you are left with vanilla. Pure joy!

Absolutely mesmerizing. This is one of those fragrances you spray on and don't smell it BUT other people do. Jasmine, lily rounded off by vanilla, soft almond milk and iris, amber. If you love florals this is one to look into. I get a whiff now and then and I smile. UPDATE: I've gotten 5 compliments today.

This is beautiful! A big love for me. It’s so creamy and the florals mixing together with the vanilla is just divine.

Omg what a big love - if Tom Ford was to create a perfume for nobles this one would be it.

I get lily and jasmine but I'm pretty sure there's quite a bit of tuberose in this too...if blonde and baiser voler and a softer jasmine (grand bal?) had a baby this could be it.

Smell almost identical to Songes by Annick Goutal. A little bit less dense and a little bit sweeter/creamier.
