Really? 3.56 out of 5 at the time of writing this review. Really??? What's wrong with people these days? This fragrance deserves to be in the 4+ range, not 3.56. Is it because it doesn't project? Is it because it doesn't last for 25 hours? Is it because it's not Chanel? I no longer trust the ratings of fragrances on this website. Many times, the fragrances that I loathe are highly rated and the ones I love are rated so lowly. I know it's a matter of taste, but lots of people equate projection and longevity to quality, and that is not what I believe in. When it comes to fragrances, SCENT comes first. Everything else is secondary. That is what I believe. And Oceani di Seta does, in fact, have quite a unique and fabulous scent. Not sure why lots of people say it's salty. It's not to my nose, because I wouldn't be able to love it so easily if it were. (I strongly dislike marine/salt accords, with very few exceptions.) To my nose, it is floral and SWEET. Yes, sweet, like, in the summery vibe. Not gourmand kind of sweet. I don't think it smells that closely to l'Eau d'Issey pour Femme, but it does resemble l'Eau d'Issey pour Femme Summer Edition by Kevin Lucbert, in the sense of creaminess and smoothness, but excluding the frangipani note. Also, I bet there are more notes in here than the pyramid above, though the brand does not advertise it. I was hooked from the first spritz. On my skin, it develops into a powdery musky scent after the sweet floral opening. It is beautiful and simple - just what I like. There's no projection to be had. This is a scent to be appreciated solely by oneself. I don't mind that because usually that's my fragrance philosophy anyhow. Longevity is average. Highly and undeservedly underrated. The entire Salvatore Ferragamo brand, that is. Again, don't believe the ratings. Try for yourself. PS. Smells like rose tea on clothes, which makes it even better for me. Hope they never discontinue this gem.

My favourite perfume so far! I was deeply fascinated by its scent when I first tried it in a cosmetic store two years ago. Deeply in love with it, but ended up not purchasing it due to different reasons. Time flew and a few days ago I came across the perfume again. It is still as clean and light as in my memories. Purchased it and have 0 regrets. Wearing it is like a soft sea wave gently brushing your feet in hot summer days - simple, oceanic and refreshing. Slightly feminine, but still suits both men and women; longevity and sillage are not that great but still worth giving it a try. 8.5/10.

my favourite perfume! it's so simple yet so good every time! i get compliments and questions about the scent whenever i wear it <3. it is very much like an oceanic scent to me, the floral scents are wonderful, even though i am not a big fan of mainly floral noted perfumes... the salt isn't too overwhelming either. it's a very simplistic but beautiful perfume, absolutely recommend it!

A very nicely done aquatic perfume! So feminine! It’s not “flat”- i get some delicate sweetness and yet it manages to stay very clean and fresh. Each time i go to sephora i can’t help but spray it on myself, so i guess I’ll get myself a bottle 😅, It’s the perfect choice and a safe blind buy if you love aquatic perfumes!

reminds me of the time i lived on the island, i wish i had drunk it in more so this scent makes me a little bit sad. smells like how sea salt spray tastes on your lips, after applying lip balm on a freezing beach - watching the love of your life surfing on violent waves

Very addictive! Salty, citrusy but fresh at the same time. Quite unique for a 2021 designer fragrance. A great recommendation for some one who sick of vanilla, white floral and Spicy notes!

Bottle and sprayer is so nice. Smells good. Beautiful box. Nice gift for a summer birthday.

I received my bottle of Oceani di Seta and the duo booster kit today and after a couple of hour of experimenting with them my first impressions are: This is a great idea from a renowned house, to me Oceani is more flowerish than oceanic but the salty aspect of it makes it very interesting and wearable for men and women. Regarding the booster duo (musky and woddy) I think this is a perfect tool for easy imprinting of a more personal olfatory profile. The musky booster is really enjoyable, rich and sexy. For me this is a 7.5/10.

It’s a pleasant citrusy floral scent, It does lean feminine but I blind bought it since I love floral fragrances and I will probably be wearing this more often in the warmer weather. My only problem is that it isn’t very long lasting so you’ll need to reapply. It reminds me of how a bubble bath would smell if I were to describe it. 8/10

Salty magnolia. I love the opening full of marine breeze and floral notes. Jardin line by Hermes comes to mind - this is silimilar in style. But not as complex. Less high end. I feel the scent of ozon, oxygene and deodorant can. The floral notes fade with wear I think. Hot weather scent or a cologne type for the whole year.

Its good. Very aquatic but expect this smell from bath and body hair spray maybe?

The opening is very citrus: Neroli. Lemon, bergamot is what I originally thought. As it settles the floral begins to come out more. This is the magnolia, but also something more aquatic like lotus or cyclamen. After about an hour the salt and heliotrope became noticeable with a lovely creaminess morphing into something more what I expect from the notes. The freshness was nice and it managed to be floral without feeling frilly or overly feminine. The longevity was only a few hours which is always disappointing.

I like the opening of this but once it settles into its more floral self it is not for me. Distinctly floral scents are not my category though so I don’t want to scare people from trying. It isn’t a bad idea to try scents with few notes and then you learn a bit about them individually. I feel heliotrope is a fresh friendly presence so I won’t be afraid of it in future fragrance sampling. As one criticism though—on some wearings this went a bit plasticy on me. I gave it a whirl maybe four times.

Got a sample because I really love the bottle and the notes seemed interesting. Unfortunately on me there's very little salt and it's just aquatic floral, and that's not really my thing (I have a few that I like). I was hoping for more of a salty fragrance.

I smelled something very similar a few years ago but can't remember what it was. It's salty but not exactly marine perfume and quickly becomes a skin scent. Try it before buying a full bottle.

I had such high expectations for this one. It's just slightly citrusy salt water. And heavy on salt too. Could have been a bit better if it wasn't so salty

strong aquatic perfume... it makes me dizzy

Perfectly balanced white floral, clean musk, and salty ocean air for me. Sure it doesn’t last long (regardless of how much you overspray) but the blending and construction of this fragrance is just so awesome that I actually don’t care for once. Probably 2-3 hours on skin and 8+ on clothing- but not much projection off said clothing. This was something that was just hugely appealing to me based on the notes and I’m not let down. Not something you wear for others (unless you have a significant other who’s gonna be close enough to you to smell this) but because you love it. Edit: coming back to this after a month just to say that this is pretty noticeably salty - more so than I thought it was at first. I just put it on after getting out of the shower and the salty marine notes really do come through. For me, this is a plus - I love how the saltiness mixes with the light musk and white florals that would otherwise be overpowering and maybe even a little headache-inducing but if you don't like the smell of salty ocean air, you will NOT like this.

It is quite refreshing and I live in a tropical country and can use this perfume all year round. I think the scent of this perfume is unique and I like magnolias as well as lilies. I bought this blind purchase and was not disappointed with the smell.

I love the scent but gifted it to my wife as it smells totally feminine. On her it smells fresh with a hint of floral notes and a salty nuance. My 3 P's - Projection 6/10 - Performance 6/10 - Price 6/10

I absolutely love aquatic fragrances but this is very very salty yo my nose like 90% sea salt and 10% light forals idk if I like this or not I wish the salt levels where a bit dialed down

Honestly this line shares the DNA of the Hermès Jurdin range. This is acwuat3, fresh and a tad bit froral from the heliotrope. Its beautiful. Moderate projection. Totally unisex.

First impression: This is the child of Escape/Calvin Klein and L'eau d'Issey /Issey Miyake. A nice aquatic, will certainly work on hot summerdays.

it's a friendly oceanic perfume...I don't take marine notes so well, but this is ok
