Rinascimento

This is just heavenly!! All tuberose lovers - that’s the one to proudly sport in any season! Just for the record - I adore tuberose, especially F Malle CF. SF Rinascimento opens bright and creamy, there is nothing shy about it: I can clearly distinguish also a creamy green lily. None of the notes are heads ache inducing due to the green freshness that comes out a few minutes later after spraying. This fragrance is very elegant and rich but without oily heaviness of for example a stunning creation from Le Labo, Lys41. Rinascimento is an elegant white floral sweet but more leaning to the very classy green territory (maybe that is the reason of the colour of the juice in the bottle). Impeccably mixed fragrance, I had a feeling in respect to creaminess it reminded me Lily by Roja Dove. It has a good projection and sillage, you certainly will be noticed and looked at adorably and desirably. As to creaminess of the scent: it’s similar to Amouage Tuberose, but Ferragamo’s Rinascimento makes more sense and has a completion to the scent taken to the sexiness and fatal attraction point. Amouage in comparison is just a good scent for a garden party and a poplin dress, whereas FR is for something more memorable and unforgettable. It’s not just a pretty nice fragrance - it’s to run after and never forget. I am so happy I have come across a bottle of it. My top 3 white florals alongside FM Carnal Flower and Armani Prive Rouge Malachite. Highly recommended.

Rinascimento is the second white floral from the Tuscan Creations that I own and this time, lily has been paired with tuberose and iris at the heart of the fragrance. The opening is Rinascimento is very green and very fresh. An almost bitter greenness to be sincere, that quite surprised me because I wasn’t expecting the basil and the green pepper to be so strong, but these two notes dominate the very few minutes. After a couple of minutes Rinascimento turns into the spectacular white floral that I was expecting from seeing the note structure. A creamy, warm, soft, powdered lily and tuberose, with a touch of iris in the background. The woods from the base notes do not appear present for more than grounding the florals/basil/pepper. It’s not a distinct phase like it was between the opening and the heart of the perfume, it’s just a deepening of the flowers. To summarise, I still prefer La Corte’s take on lily over Rinascimento’s, but to be fair, I like both fragrances equally, after the initial ten minutes of Rinacimento. They both big white florals at heart and this is how my fragrance journey began a long time ago: with white florals that were accessible to me before discovering everything else.

This perfume is nice and pleasant, and I agree that this perfume resembles Isabey Gardenia and Bond No. 9 Central Park West, hence I'm surprised that they don't use gardenia note... or do they??? The opening consists of a waft of tuberose and then it directly morphs to gardenia (or maybe it's a reaction of lily+tuberose). This phase is what reminds me of Isabey/Bond no. 9. It stays that way for about 20 minutes. However it doesn't stay sweet, it becomes greener afterward, and it becomes more vegetal, a bit dark due to the vetiver and patchouli. The party is now complete. It projects quite strong for about 2 hours and then becomes moderate. The smell is nice, but it's nothing new, considering that Ferragamo release Rinascimento as the new prodigy of its new line. The name means renaisscent, however it doesn't offer something new. A solid like from me. Btw, I love the juice colour and presentation.

As soon as I tried I knew I had to get it. It is an absolutely gorgeous perfume, is white floral, green and deep at the same time. It gets me compliments and wearing it makes me feel classy.

At first spray this smells mildly herbal, maybe the basil and mandarin combo, then it morphs into a light floral smell reminiscent of spring wild flowers and then moves to a mild woody base. Nothing remarkable or notable and definitely don't make the mistake i made and expect this to FEATURE: Tuberose. All of the white flowers blend into a bland clean floral. Nice, but worth the price.
