Signorina Eleganza

What to say? This perfume is totally beautiful. I thought I'd never fall in love that hard again with a perfume after Coco Mademoiselle, but this one really came close. Less sweet than the original Signorina, the Eleganza version is much more interesting and appealing to me. I always have problems with very sweet perfumes--sooner or later I always get headache wearing them. I really wanted to like Signorina but sadly it's too sweet for my liking and I almost ended up hating it. Signorina Eleganza, though, handles its sweetness just fine. The little miss has definitely grown up. The opening is harsh, which is rather confusing for an eau de parfum--I smell a lot of alcohol which thankfully evaporates within a minute. Then, the sweet yet fresh notes can be detected, followed by some almond, caramel and leather soon after. What is interesting about Signorina Eleganza is that it behaves very differently on paper, on clothes and on skin. On paper it was almost monotonous, on clothes it gets sweet (almost cloying--I wore it in hot weather and it was rather overwhelming at times) very quickly, but on skin is where Signorina Eleganza really shines. I believe all perfumes act differently on different people's skin. Signorina Eleganza is the same. On me, it starts off very mellow, then it turns sweet, but soon after there is a burst of freshness. I washed it down with soap and water and the almond dominates the scent. Another wash and it turns more sourish. The dry-down? Very leathery and smooth, like a creamy-coloured new leather. I love every single one of the smells, though. It's ever-changing but lovely all the same from opening to ending. One caveat: never ever "crush" the Eleganza. Some perfumes I know are okay with being "crushed", but not this one. The smooth creamy scent turns very dizzyingly suffocating after "crushing"--really horrifying. My mistake, though, of course, for even thinking of trying to "crush" this wonderful concoction. Overall, I really, really love this perfume. It's elegant, just like its name, and it gives me the image of a young fashionable lady walking on the streets of a beautiful city in Italy, sipping her dainty piccolo latte (with a touch of caramel or almond). It's sweet, but not cloying unless you wear it in hot weather, but even then it's tolerable. It's soft, but it gives off bursts of scents as if a song on staccato. It's both mellow and bold...definitely one with a lot to offer. Signorina Eleganza is a very lovely twin of Signorina, and I'm very delighted to have found a perfume I really, really adore. Rating: 9/10

Tried this on a paper strip today and can't wait to go back and try it on my skin. This smells expensive, luxurious and elegant, yet modern. A very well-blended and interesting combination of notes make this fragrance stand out from the others. Will update my review once I've tested this on my skin. I've tried this on my skin a couple of times now. It is indeed all of the above, as well as chic and ladylike. When I first sprayed this on myself I was initially disappointed, as it seemed very weak, certainly compared to what I'm used to... or perhaps my nose has just become so used to the rich vanilla-based orientals I'm so fond of. Anyhow, half an hour after spraying this, even though I could hardly smell it on myself, the first person I encountered at the gym commented on how amazing I smelled! Admittedly this person has a very acute sense of smell, but she was so enamoured by this scent that she made me write down the name of the perfume so that she could buy it herself! Unlike some other perfumes, this one doesn't amplify with body heat and by the time I left the gym I really couldn't smell it at all. I was initially a bit wary of the leather note, but it is so soft here that it definitely won't make you smell like a handbag! In fact, the combination of notes works perfectly together. This perfume isn't trying to be sexy, but it's sheer beauty make it effortlessly seductive. This is not a strong, edgy or bold fragrance. It's subtle but exquisite. Update: Has anybody else noticed that this sprays as a very fine, dry mist? The tester bottle in my local store did the same thing, so I know it's not just my bottle. This is noticeably different to all the other perfumes I own, which feel 'wetter' when sprayed. Is it anything to do with the concentration or quality??

I scored this on eBay for a total of $9.00 for a 1.7 ounce bottle brand new , plus tax , s&h for a total of $15.54 ~ Poppy thought she had spritzed it once or twice , but it arrived full to the brim with a luscious scentual within . I love this , I got the grapefruit right away as first note ,no other fruit or citrus comes through, followed by a spicy / floral , light patchouli . I will wear this for as long as on market . I have several of his { at least 4 including this one } I like those others very much although longevity is about normal for me { 4 ~ 6 hours before it lightens up } this one seems to follow that trend . I love it , it is " divine " . I see a classy and grownup woman , dressed in a white crisp shirt , boyfriend jacket folded sleeves , several bracelets , jeans with just the right fade , carrying an oversized bag to house her heels , to go from day to night should she choose , framing her face is a pair of oversized sunglasses . She is tall , wearing flats . She bares a striking resemblance to " Audrey Hepburn " secure in who she is , but she would never be mistaken for a " snob " ~ She is after all the total package of a " sophisticated lady " ~ ///=^} ~

Soft, feminine, elegant and a little powdery, this fragrance stays true to its name. I love it so much I feel like wearing it whatever the occasion. It may not be terribly unique, but it always makes me feel good and happy in my own skin. The pear here is fresh and juicy and lingers all through the dry-down, along with that rather clean leather-almond accord. I know people have likened SE to Coco Mademoiselle, maybe due to the clean patchouli note they both have, and I may be in the minority here, but I find SE to be a closer relative to Cartier La Panthere because, to my nose, they seem to share the same juicy-fresh vibe of the pear and the suede-like leather note. Anyway, even though La Panthere is more complex than SE, it's also sharper, so SE is definitely a winner. It could easily be one of my top 5 favorite frags for warm weather if it weren't for its poor longevity. But despite its performance, I love this fragrance enough to buy it again!

This is a toned down version of Miss Dior or Sofia Vergara's Sofia, except the patchouli is less intensely minty green. If those perfumes are too strong for you, I recommend this. Miss Dior gives me a headache, but this doesn't. It's very well blended, but of the notes listed, I think I smell osmanthus the most intensely. The drydown has a very similar texture to Sofia Vergara's Sofia. I think it's the type of patchouli used, because it's very dry, but also strangely dryer sheet-like. I honestly can't exactly pinpoint the leather, which I usually find sharp and bitter. I think it just deepens this perfume a bit. I like it a lot more than the original Signorina, which was a little too piercingly sweet and oddly peppery. I'm kind of thrilled that there's a fruitchouli that doesn't give me a headache. Plus my boyfriend likes it a lot.

First off, I know I did not spell perfume correctly in my username, I cannot change it now :( Anyways, this perfume is amazing. Its soft, sweet, and elegant. Smells a bit like Chanel Chance EDP to me, but less spicy. Its just creamy, and sweet. I cannot describe it, it smells very elegant and expensive as well. Sometimes, I get this note, that smells like nail polish remover, but then it goes away very quickly. Smells great on skin, not so great on clothing. I tend to spray my clothes with perfume, for added longevity, and this is one that I avoid doing that with. Because it makes the perfume smell different, in a bad way, almost cheap. I love it on skin however, smells so good on your actual skin. It has like a Chanel/ high end perfumey smell to it. I am no perfume connoisseur, this is just my humble opinion.

This is the most sophisticated out of the Signorinas, reaching towards the Emozione line. It’s very nice, the patchouli is done really well and the leather adds a nice smooth maturity to it. It is not very fruity on me, it’s more of a dry sparkling pear cider note than a juicy ripe pear note. Sadly, this one has by far the shortest longevity out of all the SF fragrances I own (this one, original Signorina, Misteriosa, Emozione, E dolce Fiore). Pretty, and I would definitely find times to wear it except it turns into a skin scent on me within 30min. Really a bummer! I enjoy the concept of the different Signorinas conveying the different facets of a woman and I like them all for different reasons. Just wish this one lasted as long as the other 2 on me!

This is one of the most amazing perfumes i have ever smelled. Through the year I switch between Signorina In Fiore and Eleganza. I find Eleganza more warm and love to wear it in autumn-winter times or at night. The smell is very feminie and elegant - for all ages. I usually find sweet perfumes quite irritating. My Teenage scent was HP Dior but as I got older i found the sweetness and heavyness so irritating. I was searching for a long time for a warm scent that has a sweetness and heavyness but in a reluctant way. The smell lasts quite long but won't spread through the entire room. If I hang my coat after I come home, everytime I pass I can still smell it in a decent way. Thankfully it is not very popular and perfect for a personal unique scent.

I take this christmas holiday to visit all regular Signorina. I love this one the most so far. At first spray it does remind me of Untold. It must be because of pear and citrus top note. the parfum quickly because warm and comforting: almond. With the fruity note, this is a bright and fresh almond. Not a 'blunt' and heavy almond'. I like the parfume so far but the best has yet to come. the drydown is spicy with a fruity taste. Spicy a bit sweet a bit sour. i love this! i prefer stronger distinctive perfume and i think this is the strongest and most distinctive in Signorina line so far. I feel SF products 'pretty' perfume but this one is more than pretty. This one has character. It smells even better in clothes and lasts very long.

First I did not think I would find my new singature scent in this perfume. I checked the notes and thought it might be too simple, but I gave it a chance because I love the smell of pear. And I am so glad I did. This scent is just soo delicious, so unique, distinctive, sweet in a fruity way (just the way I like it) but with a leathery twist, that makes it a grown up scent for signorinas over 30. Some people say it reminds them of Coco Mad, but I have to object, I have been using Coco Mad since 2011, and it is not similar at all. I just love this perfume, my only wish is it were longer lasting. It seems nothing can beat Coco Mad in longetivity. I would re-buy this perfume any time.

Accordind to all other's reviews (the positive ones) I think Eleganza is a fitting name-I also agree with patchouli and leather be the Kings of the perfume (I wish was the pear...) and for me,yes,reminds me of something familiar too...the next day my clothes smells something really close to Untold (E.Arden) and C.Mademoiselle (Chanel). (!!!!Really funny,those two???Together?) But most of all,I really like and enjoy this one! For me is a medium-longevity perfume on skin and great on clothes,really perfume-y and not synthetic at all. Came across by mistake but I m very happy for it. This spring will smell like Signorina Eleganza for me!!!

This one falls into my affordable gems category! I love wearing it! I feel very “eleganza” on a modest budget!! This is a scent that can be worn for just about any occasion, any season, day or night! I do immediately smell similarities to Coco Mademoiselle! I have two formulations of that and it’s more similar to one than the other. They could be sisters but definitely not twins. I like this much more than the original Signorina which is pretty but a bit underwhelming. This one takes it up a notch and feels much more sophisticated! I can’t imagine anyone not liking this so it’s an easy reach for me! Love it!

Smells much better than the original signorina to me. Signorina eleganza is fresh and elegant at the same time. (It does remind me of Chanel Chance, both are fresh yet classy, eleganza is sweeter tho) It tastes fresh and slightly sour to me, yet without the rotten sourness found in the original one. My favorite of the signorina line would still be the edt version though. It is the most unique and uplifting one in the line. EDIT: this stuff is very long lasting. I juz took a shower n I can still sniff it around my wrist. And the dry down is a beautiful fresh patchouli. Damn, I think I do like this one :)

I'm pretty sure Signorina Eleganza kicked off my perfume obsession! It took me outside my olfactory comfort zone with patchouli. I blind bought this on a whim and after a few wearings was captivated by this beauty! This is an elegant, sophisticated fragrance. It feels very polished somehow. Gorgeous! For some reason I feel weird wearing this in pjs- haha. It is sweet, a bit fruity with the pear, some glossy leather, and patchouli adding depth to the sweet notes. I get a mental image of black patent high heels with this fragrance. And the osmanthus is one delicious, sweet note; absolutely divine here!

I've been searching and searching for something that would be different from the barrage of florals out there, as well as all the "fresh and clean and crisp" clones that I am so sick of. I took a whiff of this, and at first, I thought: ho-hum... But then I got the leather note and the patchouli, and it evoked some sort of emotion in me, like nostalgia, and made me want to smell and inhale the scent again and again. I look for a signature scent that will excite me, and not just a pretty fragrance someone put together to sell. If it makes me excited and want to smell it again, it wins!

I like this scent so much. It's very soft, elegant and feminine. I love the light leather and the subtile patchouli. These notes create a wonderful base for the fruits, nuts and clean florals. It makes me so sad to say I have multiple complaints. The longlivity and sillage are very poor when I wear this perfume on my skin. It disappears completely within one hour. The bottle wears down very fast and it looks cheap compared to other perfume bottles in this price range. The gold colored plating comes off easily. These aspects are such a pity! The scent itself is wonderful.

This is the first perfume I ever tried with a strong patchouli note. I get so intoxicated by this one. The sweet pear and osmanthus, combined with the leather and patchouli reads as sexy to me, very grown up, posh kind of scent. It only has a hint in common with Coco Mad, this one being sweeter and more sensual in my opinion. Definitely has a lot in common with Jo Malone EP&F, but is sweeter than that one too with a softer feel. Lasts around 6 hrs. This scent comforts me, maybe it’s the earthy base notes? I’m working my way through a mini and will get a full bottle.

Carelessly sprayed on a mouillette, the same one I sniffed a couple of times and thoughtlessly put back in my sun glasses holder. Not having to use them for a few days, I completely forgot the fact. Later, wearing glasses, I was bewitched by the scent they gave off, remembering Signorina Eleganza on the strip. Subtly leathery, creamy chypré. Classy, great infusion firmly and smartly soaked in my glasses. At that moment I immediately thought that I would fall in love.

This smells like a powdery more toned down version of coco mademoiselle by Chanel. The EDP is quite citrus and sharp which is one of my favorites, but this one is lighter, softer and feels like a warm scarf wrapped around you hence the EDT references. The patchouli is done exceptionally well and smells quite dry and minty and not dirty smelling. Great value and the bottle is so elegant! Longevity is quite good and performs a good 6 hours and then lingers.

There's a sheer power in this fragrance. Soft but bold at the same time. I think the opening is sort of generic, like any other modern perfume, flowery and citrusy, but once it starts to settle down in the middle, the mature character appears. It's close to the skin and lasts all day on me. It's a perfect fragrance given the price point.. I got compliments the first time I wore it to the office...I'd score 9/10 for this one
