Terra Rossa

Can fragrance touch your soul? I think it can, and I think that is what we hope for deep down when we dive deep into this hobby. If we have a few bottles, we like frags for others. When we have (too) many bottles it is for us and others. Hopefully your pursuit will point you to something greater, and the sense of scent that is tied so strongly to memory brings it back again and again. So, This fragrance has this ability. This is a beautiful scent and possibly the off spring of Coromandel+Nassomato's Pardon. Also, it is compared to another amber masterpiece - Tom Ford's Amber Absolute. And as such, it is indeed a masterpiece unless you have the other two or do not like Patch. This scent is indeed a patch based amber with a luxurious feel and presentation of the ilk that ferragamo's shoes deliver. This is from their "exclusive" or more luxurious line and I think this frag delivers and if you can come across this at a great deal(which is now quite prominent for this scent) it is blind buy safe unless you have the others. It possibly is therefore not as original or groundbreaking but quite good. 4.15/5

At first sniff I'm able to enjoy a floral blend with patucchli giving it a sweet creamy tone. Amber with just a hint of myrrh adds a woodsy/spicy blend. I definitely pick up either sandalwood or cinnamon notes making it perfect during the fall and winter months. Longevity and Silage is excellent lasting well over 8hrs. This is my second bottle of this nieche fragrance. Terra Rossa means red soil, I imagine the rich soil in Italy where fruits and vineyards grow. The warm/spicy juice gives this frag vigour being very lively. Try it several times before you decide whether you like or not? This juice is excellent...8.5/10

if you put a little dry patchouli into carner barcelona el born or les bains guerbois 1986 you have the Tuscan soul edt version of terra rossa... it's lovely. Honeyed amber with woods and patchouli with a little orangery citrus (the kind of dry citrus in roja lost in paris or les bains guerbois in a few of theirs).

Patchouli is the star of the show here but it is an unpressedented one with adequat sweetness comming from amber and myrrh, a bit of florals and citrusses add to them a great performance then you get a great fall winter frangrance.

DOWN TO THE RED EARTH WITH TUSCAN SOUL _______________________________________________________ I tried today several of the new scents from Salvatore Ferragamo and was blown away by one of them. The 'Tuscan Soul' series has several scents, but the most manly one is TERRA ROSSA. Terra Rossa is supposed to bring you to the deep roots of Tuscany. And it does. The combination of patchouli and amber is quite strong and make it very 'earth-y' and very manly. After a couple of hours the rose(water) breaks through and becomes very sensual (and somehow feminine). Since I couldn't figure out the base notes very good, the sales man pulled out a catalogue with all the fragranes from Salvatore Ferragamo and the notes of Terra Rossa. From the list of scents I saw, the fragrance is made of the following: TOP NOTES: Bergamot, Rosewater MIDDLE NOTES: Labdanum and something I don't recall BASE NOTES: Patchouli, Amber. Overall: great scent Opinion: amazing earthly - 9/10. Longetivity: - 7/10 Sillage: - 7/10 All in all: 8 out of 10 points.

Tuscan Soul Terra Rossa by Salvatore Ferragamo. "Earthy Rose" What I got from this fragrance was an earthy rose cloaked with amber and myrrh. To me, the rose and amber notes were reminiscent of Christian Dior's Ambre Nuit, while the myrrh and patchouli notes were reminiscent of Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense. If those two fragrances mentioned above were to have a child, Terra Rossa would be it. Performance wise for me, this fragrance is excellent. It projects well for about four hours and lasts well over twelve hours. If I were to use this fragrance, it would probably be on a date or night out because it gives off a romantic sensual vibe; otherwise, I don't find it that versitile. Terra Rossa is labeled as a uni-sex fragrance, but I feel it leans more to the feminine side because the masculine feel of the fragrance fleets away after the top notes fade. Overall, if you are a lover of rose and amber fragrances and want an earthy twist, give Terra Rossa a wear.

A very pretty and digestible patchouli that has a refined, more masculine edge in the opening, which settles down into a syrupy sweet amber with earthy patchouli undertones upon drying. Quite nice and sweet and easier to enjoy at the offset compared to other patchouli-centric scents like Jovoy's Psychedelique or Oriza L. Legrand's Horizon, which may take a longer marinating time for the user to comprehend (or, for me, at least). I find this to be more blended than those aforementioned scents, which is neither a good nor bad thing in this case - simply up to you to decide whether you like something smooth or a little more raw and earthy smelling. Overall, a nice addition to my collection, though the performance could use some help as it sits close to the skin ~1h after spraying.

I just bought this scent and I really like it. The patchouli, amber and myrhh basenotes gives this fragrance a masculine, sexy vibe. This is a very nice scent. I also think that this scent could be worn all-year long. I wouldn't wear this in the high heat, but it could be worn in the warmer months. Projection is moderate.

I do find this similar to Coromandel but coromandel is sweeter. This one is more resinous, I prefer coromandel but enjoy this one as well. Most of the fragrances in this line are surprisingly good, very pleased with all of the ones I’ve purchased

This is one of my favorites in the Tuscan Soul line. It's a nice mix of myrrh, patchouli, amber. Spicy and sexy. Shades of Shalimar in here. I wish it were an EDP though, I found the lasting power to be a bit weak.

بعد از اسپری،فضایی ادویه ای _رزینی که خیلی سردرگم و بی هدف هست به مشام می رسه و چند دقیقه ای نیاز داره تا خودش رو پیدا کنه وجوه ای خاکی_علفی از پچولی که گاهی وایب عودی می داد؛رگ و ریشه های چوبی_ادویه ای هم داره که توی دل اش وایب بالزامیک نسبتا قوی ای حضور داشت کمی حس چرمی بهم القا کرد اما از همه بیشتر یک آکورد ادویه ای حس میشه که مشتق شده از چندین ادویه است که حسابی با هم مخلوط شدند و به سختی میشه مورد خاصی رو از دلش بیرون کشید مرکبات زیر سایه سنگین نُت های چوبی ادویه ای و صَمغی له شده بودن و چیزی ازشون حس نمی شد در انتها یک رایحه نسبتا ساده چوبی_پودری_ادویه ای حس میشه که شیرینی وانیلی داره و از متراکم بودن اولیه کاملا فاصله گرفته !رایحه خیلی با سلیقه من هم خوان نیست اما با دکانت ای که داشتم،طی چند باری که استفاده کردم،بازخورد های خیلی خوبی می گرفتم در کمال تعجب ***************** scent:6.5/10 longevity:9/10 sillage:9/10 purchase value:6/10 ******** overall:7.6/10

I bought a 100 ml bottle with 3-5 sprays missing from a great seller on Mercari for $36. They were doing a very big declutter. This is hands down the best bargain blind buy I have a ever made in my life. Truly a high quality perfume that bears a profile 90 percent similar to Coromandel. And if I am being honest, I prefer Terra Rossa. The white chocolate note is not as screechy and abrasive as the one in Coromandel. It's more creamy and less sugary, the note resembles a chocolate cake made with half and half. All in all, this has dethroned Coromandels spot in in top 10 for life. I will certainly be trying more from the line.

I got a box of samples of the Tuscan Soul line so I tried this one on my hand before jumping into it. Seeing the others before me being very "artistic" in their descriptions of this one, I'll keep it simple: If you are into floral ones, you will like this. For me personally, it's a little too feminine for my blood. It says its unisex but, you really have to be a certain type of "wo-man" to pull this off, otherwise, it's golden for the ladies I'd say.
