La Bella

Wow what a surprise! This arrived today and I immediately sprayed it on my skin and went about my day. I kept getting whiffs of something wonderful, almost coconut-y with vanilla and caramel. Absolutely divine. Then the iris started to creep in and really reminded me of Guess Seductive Noir, or an airier version of Mon Guerlain but without the lavender. This all changed on the dry-down though as the scent became powdery but still with that delicious vanilla and caramel peeking through. The coconut smell, which isn't even listed as a note BTW, completely disappeared at this stage. All in all, I'm in awe! I paid $15 for a 100ml bottle and 5oz lotion set....I mean, I'll never ever use the lotion because it has shimmer in it (wtf??) But still!! $15 just for the fragrance alone is a fantastic price. I've been wearing La Bella for a few hours now and I can still smell it easily on my skin. And I only sprayed it once! That wonderful scent trail is still following me around, lending me beautiful fleeting whiffs here and there, as needed. It has significantly lifted my mood today and there's not much else I can ask of any fragrance. This is a major win in my books and I am so happy to have claimed the last one on fragrancenet (*evil laugh*). If you come across this beauty, snag it up and quick because whenever it comes on the market in The U.S., it goes quick! (Also, who tf is Samantha Faiers, anyway?! Gonna have to Google her after this cause now I'm curious).

I would like to start by saying I am in no way a fan of TOWIE or of anything Samantha represents. At first it smells very synthetic. But, at least to me, that doesn't have to be a negative thing. Despite a bit messy it really is a lovely scent. Right away I can sense the vanilla the most, followed closely by an amazing flower note (so it has to be the iris) and something with a dash of both sweetness and medicinal smell (I'm guessing it must be the benzoin). The caramel here is not the burnt sugar type but instead a buttery one and gets stronger as the fragrance progresses. You may have correctly guessed right now that I really like "La Bella". I do. Its smell is wonderful and heavenly. There are only two things which let me down while wearing it. Its projection and longevity are quite low unfortunately. If you like it as much as I do I only have an advice: SPRAY IT A MILLION TIMES IN A ROW!! (haha)

Oh my goodness, this is amazing!! I was looking for a caramel scent that actually has some staying power, and this fits the bill! The caramel in this is so creamy and buttery, not like others I've tried, which smell more burnt. It's so soft with a powdery quality, and the vanilla in this is just right. But the caramel... oh my! Never smelled a more true-to-life caramel scent before! I picked up the 100ml bottle with a 150ml shimmering body lotion for only £19, and as it's so similar to Prada Candy, and lasts so much longer, the price is a huge bonus!! I heard it came top of celeb scents when it was released, and I can see why!! Go try it if you love caramel, you won't be disappointed!

I absolutely love this perfume. I have never watched Sam Faiers on TV but I decided to blind buy this because I loved the look of the notes. First spray is pretty harsh but instantly calms down to a delicious caramel biscuit smell with a hint of florals. This lasts all day on me with the dry down a very comforting vanilla cream caramel that is just dreamy! I don't own Prada Candy so I can't comment on how similar they are.

I've sampled this and it's a cheap alternative to Prada Candy -which I love! I'd wear this during the day and keep my Prada for the night and special occasions. Can't believe how similar they are, yet La Bella seems to have a slight bit more caramel sweetness to it. This is one you can wear and feel fabulous without the guilt of using your most expensive perfumes for every day! I need to stock up on this!

Love at first sniff. I smelt coconut in the opening, only to learn that it's not listed as an ingredient. A blind buy, it's so warm and cozy with a lovely hug. Curled up by the fire in a big comfy chair, it's my favourite sticky toffee pudding with lashings of custard. This is gourmand written through and through like a stick of the proverbial Blackpool rock ;-) Bon Appetite

This one as actually really grown on me and I prefer it to prada candy now it's like a more fresh less cloying version with the floral note in it. It's brilliant quality and smells as expensive as prada candy, the bottle is gorgeous too and has the most weight to any bottle I own giving it a really glamorous feel too.

Decided to purchase this as people had compared it to prada candy. I am so glad that i did,as it is very similar. A softer version so its suited to wear in summer. found candy abit too harsh. Impressed with how long it lasts. The price is good for the quality.

This just arrived in our store, and i'm pleasantly surprised!! It's gorgeous. really soft and elegant. Reminds me exactly of Prada Candy! with elements of Elie Saab and Hypnotic Poison. Fab value too so will be buying a bottle.

This is Prada Candy's little sister! Albeit lighter and without that disgusting plastic note! I'm addicted to the opening burst of caramel, it's so sweet and delicious that I always want to spray it. The dry down is warm, slightly bitter vanilla. It's soft and feminine, as is the bottle. I got 100ml for about £20, and the presentation was second to none, it would make a really wonderful gift. It doesn't last long on me, and the musk does overtake the cozy feeling. I always want to keep re-applying so that I smell more like vanilla than like musk. I wanted to love Prada Candy, I really, really wanted to love it. But there was just something in it that turned rotten on my skin. I might have had a fake or an old bottle and managed to swap it with a friend. This is a perfect subsitute! It's not quite up there with VS's Coconut Passion, but it's in my top ten. I'll keep searching for my perfect caramel perfume, but this gets a good 7/10.

When first sprayed, La Bella has a dried fruit/rum raisin note that I find to be cloying. It smells so similar to butter raisin tarts or plum pudding. If that isn't your thing, the raisin/date/fig note doesn't last long and it turns into the coziest warm gourmand musk. It's the fragrance equivalent of an oatmeal colored cashmere sweater and a pair of tiny gold hoops.

I really like this one! It's light, soft and sweet and sort of... comforting? I can imagine wearing it on a winter's day, as it has that cosy appeal to it. The bottle is also very pretty, love the subtle peachy-gold colours and the design. Very nice all round. :)

Absolutely heavensent. However, there's no point in buying it since IT BARELY LASTS AN HOUR!!!! No, really, it cannot hold its scent at all!! I hope this stops someone from falling into the trap of buying it again (or for the first time).

This smells yummy and divine! I wouldn't say I get caramel from it. Perhaps vanilla. It has floral notes and perhaps a slight vanilla. This perfume DOES NOT last long AT ALL. It last perhaps 10 minutes. And can only be smelled if your literally sniffing your wrist. It fades completely after a short while. It's sooo faint. It's like putting on water. Which is a shame because it smells so nice. I wouldn't buy this again.

Ok people. So I got this after reading it is like Prada Candy. At the moment I can only wear prada cause anything else stinks on me- particularly patchouli. Ugh. Anyway. Got this today, opened the box, sprayed on my wrist... oh God but it is disgusting to me. The iris is so strong I don't get much caramel. To me it smells a lot like Versace Dreamer for men, even though there are no common notes. For some reason none of the vanilla, musk, benzoin and caramel come out :( boyfriend says it smells lovely but I just cannot wear it. To me it is not like Candy at all!!! Prada has this heavy musky sweetness to it whereas this smells to me sharp and not comforting at all. Not to be too harsh- this perfume is lovely, just not at current moment as my skin has decided to hate everything- for example I never liked Prada Candy cause it smelled rotten on me but since I can no longer wear Loverdose, I tried Prada and it worked. La Bella does not. Anyone want the bottle for 20 euro? I am in Ireland.

Gave this a shot as I was very sceptical as TV personality fragrance tend to be dire, just look at the terrible Audition by Kelly Brooke! What a Flash rip off and massively head inducing for myself. But La Bella really shocked me as tohow great it smells! It has this really thick starchy smell given by the Iris which bears similarities to Prada candy and La Vie Eat Belle! The caramel and vanilla and well blended to make a well rounded smell that's perfect for cold days! The smell is not cheap or tacky! The only problem is the power. This fragrance is awfully light, was literally gone without a trace on my skin after an hour! Slightly disappointed. So I won't be owning a bottle but I do appreciate the smell!

I tracked this down from the UK (I'm in the US) because it's affordable and sounded amazing. I am a lover of all things sweet, gourmand, vanilla, etc... It's great. It didn't blow my mind... it's def a sweeter Prada Candy... less dry.... but still has that dusty aspect (benzoin?) I got a set of the 100ml EDP and 5 oz lotion for about $30. :) Def sweet buttery vanilla caramel. Highly recommended for sweetie lovers. Actually, after the first stage, this reminds me more of Private Room by Jeanne Arthes. It loses that dusty caramel Prada Candy and dries down to a powdery sweet, like Private Room. I wore to sleep last night, and it smelled exactly like Al-Rehab's Dalal. I didn't get any Prada Candy that time.

This is lovely - the bottle is rather chic for a celeb fragrance, the scent is in the same vein as my other favourites - Elie Saab and Miss Dior Le Parfum. Even slightly reminiscent of another cheapie great perfume and Fragrantica rave, Madonna's Truth Or Dare Naked. Must be the vanilla as it's the note they all share! I sprayed it around three hours ago and it's still lingering, perhaps not as intense as others I have, but it's there. Currently £12 for 100ml EDP in TJ Hughes (UK) which is a bit of a bargain I think! I can see on Amazon.co.uk and TJ Hughes' website that this is by Revlon (?), can anyone confirm? On the back of the packaging it says "Per-Cent Limited, Manchester".

Bought this the other day unsniffed, as it was on a major sale, and it was very cheap. Didn't have high expectations, but I love gourmands and caramels, so I gave it a try. And I am so happy I did ! It is a beautiful, more mature caramel, not a sugary teenage-caramel. It is elegant, and I can detect some florals in the background, but can't really pinpoint which they are. It is very discrete and not in your face, but still lasts forever. A great and more office-friendly alternative to Prada Candy. Bottle and packaging is really cute and classy as well. A totally underrated little gem :)

I stumbled across this in argos for £12.99 for 100ml. out of intrigue at such a bargain I came here and was reassured by the positive reviews so went to test some before buying just to make sure..... it is amazing!!! out of the 100 or so perfumes Ive bought in recent months this is the best! it is seriously warm vanilla with a hint of woodiness. it also has good staying power. I wore it to work and kept getting wafts all day. this is such a find for me as I wouldn't normally have bothered had it been full price

I'm probably too quick to review it however it's surprisingly good and I didn't expect much from it being cheap and only a celebrity perfume. At first I smelt something synthetic and was very disappointed however that must of been because I opened a brand new bottle and sprayed it for the very first time. It's warm, comforting and sweet. Its not over the top so won't cause a headache. I'm yet to test its longevity and staying powder, if you like vanilla you will love it.

Wow, Prada Candy!!! It is JUST like Prada Candy. Maaaaaaaybe a little softer and more well rounded. If you are more familiar with Candy, I only tested it in shops, you might be able to spot more differences, but to my nose they are super similar. Nice, caramel of course, hints of vanilla. Its nice, I will sample again before I decide if its fb worthy. Please note, this is gourmand, summer might not do it justice. It might sit better on skin during colder months.

I highly recommend this fragrance to anyone looking for a warm, cosy, beautiful gourmand fragrance. It's just lovely. I've been wearing it for a few weeks now and I've had so many compliments. I've come to the conclusion that, as much as I love the idea of gourmands, I often find them to be too sickly or overpowering in reality. This one manages to get it just right, for me anyway!

I like edible sweet fragrances and when I saw vanilla and caramel listed as the strongest notes I got excited, so as it was a reasonable price and bought it blind. So disappointed there was no vanilla AT all or caramel and I ended up smelling like a fat 70 year old aunt who stinks out the living room when she visits for christmas.

Adore this perfume it's very soft and feminine. Delicious sweet vanilla and caramel all wrapped up in glamorous musks. It has longevity and smells gorgeous for hours. It's a sophisticated perfume and classy.The bottle is classy too. There is nothing sharp about this perfume just softness and that's what I love. Beautiful smell!!!

No idea who Sam faiers is, but this is a really nice perfume for layering! Love gourmand scents. For me it is quite strong, lasts a decent amount of time. If you like musky caramel scents you'll like this. Very musky caramel with a somewhat sharp opening

WOW! This is amazingly delicious. I bought it blindly and was not expecting much but what i got really positively surprised me. This is twin sister of Prada Candy born 5 minutes later with more accented caramel with slightly salty touch. Gorgeous.

I picked this up for a steal last week and I love it. So clean, soft and yummy. It does remind me of Prada Candy but there is something fresher about it. I could easily see myself wearing this all the time. It's definitely like a hug in a bottle!

Looking at the notes, this could be a hit. Im glad she left amber out. Caramel can turn out nice, if done right. Along with vanilla it will probably be buttery and warm. Will deff try this!

Not a fan of TOWIE but this is very nice,caramel is a bit hit with me as long as it's not too sweet. A bargain if you can find it. Mine was a present.
