Pure

One of the underrated beauties in my collection . It is calm version of RL Pure Turquoise , really similar , maybe less chypre and maskulin than PT in the dry down and I like it . I think about hard small caramels I used to love in my childhood , that I imagine every time smelling Pure on my skin . Playful and fresh summer scent ... And I like it very much ...

I really think that the allocation of this perfume to the floral category is wrong. It is far FAR richer than "just" a floral fragrance. Someone had already compared it to Armani's Lei and I agree. Lei is an oriental vanilla fragrance and I would be tempted to place Pure in the same category - or possibly as an oriental floral. It is possible that the part-used bottle I bought from a seller on eBay is old, but it certainly doesn't exhibit that typical nose-searing "twang" of a turned perfume. I also don't think "Pure" is an apt name for this, as - to me - "Pure" conjures images of crisp white cotton sheets, drying on a washing line in the sun. Pure is predominantly a spicy fragrance and is easily unisex. I get very few flowers from this and the patchouli, whilst not dirty, brings a slightly woody character. I own Samantha Faiers other perfume La Bella, which is very pretty, but is a far more predictable celebrity scent, whilst Pure is completely unexpected; I bought it because it was cheap and I love to try perfumes which aren't particularly popular and you don't smell everywhere. I am really surprised by how much I like this. Please do give it a try, if you like slightly spiced unisex fragrances. Sillage is soft bordering moderate, and longevity just creeps into the moderate range, but you can afford to respray at this price.

A lovely discovery. The base is warm, green, herbal and smooth, while top notes of high clean freshness float above. It isn't bitter or citric, but very soft and mellow. I think the bergamot and patchouli combine to give this a slight basil feel, which is where the unisex aspect comes in, but to me this almost creamy and floral, warm spice leans more feminine. Really glad I found it. Her other frag, La Bella; I love the clean white floral approach to caramel.

Aptly named this beautiful,light yet long-lasting fragrance is so fresh & clean! Good projection without being overpowering.This is IMO a unisex scent.Longevity is fair to good but at such a bargain price,you don't mind being generous in refreshing yourself with a few sprays during the course of the day.
