Yael

Nice raspberry-rose perfume but too soft for me. The fragrance is very natural and pleasant. However there are other fragrances in th markets similar but better than this one. I wouldn't pay 100€ for 30ml when I can have for example 50ml of flamenco by Ramon Monegal, more intense and with better performance, for 160€ (almost same price); or white narcissi by Kelsey Berwin for 25€, where the quality is worse but...it is much cheaper. The dry down is balsamic and sweet a bit generic. Summing up very nice perfume but for me it doesn't deserve buying it. For day time use. Rosy cassis raspberries flavor. Sweet yet rosy blend with vanilla cassis. The amber, and bright orris are giving the blend some contrast and light. It's like a spiritual drink, fizzy rose raspberry champagne with cassis leaf. As Sammarco said "teasing and sparkling at the same time" and he did reached what he aimed at. This is really interesting and captivating although i don't like raspberries notes in fragrances but here it is just perfectly balanced. Edit (12th Jan 2019) The raspberries is bit overwhelming leaving the blend green and bit over sweet. I believe the Turkish roses, the Bulgarian roses, and the raspberry are bit too much of sweetness, don't get me wrong it didn't turn to a bubblegum but it's bit crossed the line of sweetness as the cassis is trying it's best to keep it floral and away from sweet but it just can't. It's kind of like "Scent of Hope" by DSH minus the peach and more extra sweet raspberries. It's fine but i need to try it more often to see wither if i can get used to this level of sweet or not!

Opens with a blast of raspberry and pepper. After a few minutes the raspberry softens and the pepper becomes prominent. The rose whispers softly through out. On the dry down, the cassis takes over and this becomes very green. Pretty. I like it. Certainly unique. A time-release fragrance, where each ingredient parades individually across your senses as time passes. It's not one of those well-blended fragrances where you can't tell the ingredients apart and it always smells the same. This one smells different at every stage of the development.

Yael is a green and tart fruity rose scent, definitely niche-style. That is to say it isn’t a mainstream raspberry rose, a bit weirder than that. It’s a little wobbly at first with a shiso-like bitter edge from cassis that will make some question if they want to keep going or scrub. But the longer this wears, the smoother it becomes and the more pleasant it smells. I like the balance of vanilla and cassis and rose in the drydown. 3 out of 5.

Raspberry, pink pepper, and vegetal. No animal essence. Tomato leaf rather than cassia would have given this the edge it needs.

I got a sample of this together with the others in the line. This would be the most "wearable" for me.
