I really love this scent—it lasts well and projects just enough without being too much. It opens with bright bursts of bergamot, lemon, and cedrat, which give it a really fresh, zesty feel. The amber is smooth and warm, but not overly smoky like the name might suggest. As it settles, it reminds me of charred wood—like a piece of citrus peel being gently burned. There’s no strong smoke note, just this warm, woody-citrus tone that lingers for hours. It kind of gives By the Fireplace vibes, but it’s less sweet and more focused on citrus and wood. Super easy to wear, though it does lean a little masculine.

I blind-bought this fragrance when I was looking for a scent combining smoke notes with yuzu. Sadly on my skin I did not get yuzu and it was a little bathroom cleaner lemon. The scent did settle down more smoke-forward and had good longevity.
