Savage Jasmine

Mmm..this is lush and heady. Mesmerising, sultry jasmine with a twist of cloves and tobacco. The musk is present to try and tame the jasmine beast. This is most definitely a scent for evening wear. If you want to remind a guy of your feminine, sexy charms then wear this. The jasmine note is a tricky one for me but I do love it here with the spicy cloves. The tobacco is just about present tucked away at the back. The musk smoothes and round the jasmine that could all too easily become indolic and too stinky for me. Jasmine is queen here. She intoxicates you. My only sadness is that the clove spice doesn't last to the end. All too quickly everything fades and jasmine stands alone. It just smells like my vintage bottle of Molinard Jasmine. If you are a guy who loves jasmine then this is definitely one to check out. It doesnt scream feminine. I get average sillage and less that moderate longevity.

Luscious tropical jasmine, sweet and cooling as it dries down I smell a light musky wood smell but ever so slightly. Jasmine is the main star here This scent is absolutely stunning, the perfect fresh jasmine scent for when you want to feel put-together and sexy This is what I expected jasmine rouge to smell like But was obviously let down with JR as it was too fresh and rubbery.

This is such a beautiful soft and realistic jasmine! First impression, but makes me want to run and buy a bottle. I’m thrilled with my sample set of this brand, none of the scents punches me in the gut with aromachemicals so I can really enjoy each one of them. And they are beautiful. Thanks for doing perfumery like this!

This is the raw, literal jasmine you'd get if you buried your nose in a handful of freshly-plucked jasmine blossoms. It's an unadulturated jasmine lover's jasmine, all headiness and sharpness and indoles. I think jasmine is one of the most stunningly carnal smells on the planet, so Savage Jasmine's single-mindedness is absolutely fine with me. Sana Jardin promises nature and it delivers. Those looking for a unique take on the note, though, should probably look elsewhere. Those detecting something like cat urine aren't wrong, but that's jasmine. It took me years to mentally separate the two odors, and I'm still shy about wearing potent jasmine scents out in public. But this is more a critique of the flower than the perfume. The complaints that it smells artificial, however, are somewhat mystifying to me.

Simple straight jasmine. Like a jasmine green tea, which I find intoxicating. My main critique is it did not last long, only a couple hours.

A potent jasmine and musc potion. The opening is beautiful - pure jasmine (I don't feel the clove at all), but as the musc begins to unfurl it seems to bring a strong animalic vibe. The feel you get when you enter a room where a cat has peed. No tobacco for me, too. Maybe I will need to try this on a different day...

The name of this fragrance is very fitting, in the worst way. This is a VERY stinky, animalic, bad-breath jasmine. It seriously smells like bad breath. I also get a slight permanent marker smell (I also get that with Bvlgari's Jasmine Noir). It didn't get any better as it dried down. This is a pass.

I pick up the slightly chemically smell that other reviewers talk about. For a white flower fragrance, I much prefer Jaipur Chant. That feels fresh whereas this one smells of burnt rubber. For a dark Jasmine, I prefer McQueen EDP which is dark without the burnt rubber feel.

I get a very plastic top note with a sort of banana element. No cloves at all. And no musk. A very artificial sort of jasmine. Like giant plastic flowers. Very strong opening but fades quickly - to my relief. It's a no from me.

I adore jasmine, but this makes me feel sick. I agree with Maquilab, there is a cat pee smell there. I have three cats, I should know.

A sugary, indolic jasmine scent, unfortunately smells dirty —in a bad way— to my nose.

I love the whole Sana Jardin range of perfumes. They are so gorgeous and glorious. This is such a pure jasmine, just as the reviews before me keep saying. I used to take walks at night in my old neighborhood, and I would stick my face in the jasmine bushes as they bloomed by night and this is perfectly like that. It is actually quite difficult for me to find a perfume on earth that encapsulates that very simple but bewitching scent but here it is! Because it is simple, it is absolutely perfect for layering. I use their rollerballs to apply and I love that I don’t have an overwhelming alcohol spray to get through to drying. This is such a lovely and beautiful jasmine perfume. Some get too stinky like bad breath and some get too nail polish-esque. This smells so so natural and beautiful.

A very light natural and indolic jasmin. I envision dewy jasmin fields at night time blooming under the moon light. It's so very pretty. It opens up fresh like a first breath after a breathmint when the jasmin follows. When it starts drying down the jasmin gets more and more indolic and slightly sweaty while remaining ever so light and subtle. I have a 50 ml bottle that i rarely use but for some reason I can never stop sniffing the bottle once i started to. It's just so beautiful. I also wear it to sleep wich might be silly since it's not realy a bed time scent I'd say. Still i conclude that i prefer to enjoy this one by myself and for myself.

At first, a pure and simple jasmine. Sweet, realistic, true and classy, although still a little perfumey. Then, on second wear, it actually became rather sexy and definitely animalic. The dirty aspects of the jasmine began to show themselves. Which is just how I like my jasmine!! Eventually musk and even a hint of smoke come through. Absolutely no complaints about this one.

Jasmine and cloves combination is not a new thing, and important compositions such as Lutens a la Nuit, Rogue Jasmin Antique and PMC's Jasmin de Pays rely on it. Of those I have tried Jasmin the Pays, and although I do not have it anymore, I think the clove note in that was more intense. Savage Jasmin feels a bit more balanced to my liking.

The most realistic jasmine fragrance I have ever smelled. Literally as if I am immersing my face in one of those jasmine garlands in an Indian wedding. I find it intoxicating, simple and beautiful. There is nothing else going on other than the gorgeous jasmine scent, and it's ok... Some things are nicer when they are simple <3

Opens a very dirty and indolic Jasmine, and for a minute I worried that I'd made a mistake, but it mellowed out rather quickly, and the main result smells like nothing other than the brown cinnamon scented Mr Sketch Markers of my youth, (as other reviewers have said:) chemicals and all.

A jasminum grandiflorum bomb, the "dirty" jasmine kind, not jasmine sambac. Exceptionally realistic and stays linear throughout. The strong, unapologetic indoles can be a boon or bane depending on your preference.

Pure, unadulterated jasmine and fragapani. Macherated petals, with all of it’s roughness and even lovely decay. Like walking down a lane lush with flowering trees in a south east asian country.

I have a sample of this pretty jasmine filled fragrance and I absolutely love it. This is perfect for a brunch date or wedding..someplace festive and sunny. I think it’s worth purchasing a FB!
