Pistachio Dream

This perfume oil really surprised me in several ways. First, the scent really carries well, especially for an oil rollerball! Second, I really love how the notes all work together; I find myself smelling it again and again and trying to figure out which note I smell the most at that moment. This scent is very sweet, likely due to it having sugar, marshmallow, and brown and brown sugar in its middle and base. I also smell the vanilla quite a bit on my own skin. The addition of the almonds gives the scent almost a slight freshness. I was also surprised that the pistachio wasn't as pronounced as I had expected; I was expecting a pistachio bomb, but it's actually far more complex and well-balanced than I had ever anticipated. I feel like as the scent dries down, it smells creamier and more vanillic, but stays interestingly complex. It's just such a lovely, delicious gourmand that isn't super edible (it feels like an actual perfume instead of straight up food, and it works for this scent). If you can find it at Marshall's/TJ Maxx in the 2 pack with White Vanilla, GRAB THEM! You will NOT be disappointed!

(Review of 50ml Bottle) Genuinely excellent for the low price of like, what, 15 bucks? You can find these scattered around places like Marshalls or TJ Maxx while you're browsing for your skincare and haircare. Very green pistachio - the sweeter notes are delicious smelling and don't overpower the nuttiness either. A lot of people here bring up pistachio gelato for this one for good reason! This doesn't last particularly long, but you can definitely use this as base layer if you wanna combine scents; my girlfriend does this with Sand + Fog's Golden Hour Eau De Toilette. Great pickup if you happen to find one of these out in the wild and enjoy perfume oils. Side note: Please be wary that sometimes, these may smell rancid in person given that people like to open these in stores and use them. Always give them a whiff just to be safe!

I love this one, but I am torn with loving this and their other Sand + Fog scent oil Malibu Beach more which is not listed in the database here yet. They are both really great. That one is nuttier and has a "sunnier" hint of vanilla and floral, perhaps that is why people compare it to Sol de Janeiro 71. I think they are great for layering with other scents to make perfumes last longer or with lotions. I like it with Pi or Pink Sugar on me. On its own this scent fades pretty quickly and becomes very intimate, but I wear it for myself so I don't mind sniffing my wrist to get the lovely, nutty aroma throughout the day.

This is amazing!!! It's not the same from start to finish. It starts a bit citrus, nutty then turns marshmallow, sugar and vanilla its just dreamy. I can't believe what a gem this is and the price is so good for the size. Addictive for sure and the compliments from everyone is crazy. I found this in tjmaxx and as I'm in Australia I can't order this online so I bought a few bottles as I don't want this to run out. I will be so upset when I run out because this is so beautiful. i absolutely adore this oil! i havnt seen any reviews mentioning this but for some reason this smells very clean to me. definitely sweet but very clean, nutty, and a little powdery. its something i love putting on after showering. i have been using it to layer and it pairs really well with other gourmands. my favorite combo so far has been this paired with alien goddess which might not sound like it works but its giving pistachio coconut cream and im obsessed!

Almost indistinguishable from Kayali’s yum pistachio gelato except it lasts wayyyyy longer. Kayali is slightly sweeter but honestly unless you’re comparing them side by side you wouldn’t know the difference. It’s a frosted, sweet & nutty scent. Gets me compliments every time I wear it and lasts me 6 hours. It’s an inoffensive scent that is unique but a crowd pleaser. Cannot recommend enough if you love gourmand & pistachio scents

I only tested the Kayali once, and Pistachio Dream does smell a lot like it, based on my recollection. But I was kind of nonplussed about the Kayali, whereas I really love Pistachio Dream. It's initially a bit harsh and has a lotiony element, but that disappears pretty quickly. This, to me, is a great pistachio ice cream scent. Most Sand + Fog perfume oils wear pretty close to the skin but they're longlasting.

Love a perfume oil, I know this brand is very clearance-store friendly but that makes the fact you can get this at any TJ Maxx / Marshalls / whatever for very affordable prices even better. It’s a sugar-hater’s dream, the intensity of the nutty pistachio works very well to avoid making this one being a full gourmand. Delicious salty edge to it as well. The oil spreads and makes more of an impression.

pistachio dreams by sand + fog smells amazing—it’s like kayali yum pistachio gelato but way cheaper and lasts longer since it’s an oil. it starts with sweet pistachio and almond, then softens into marshmallow and sugar, making it super cozy and yummy. the brown sugar and vanilla in the base add a warm, sweet finish. it’s such a steal for how good and long-lasting it is!

I don’t know kind of a let down. I’m not getting much pistachio. It is unique and sweet. Maybe it will grow on me. Edit: May actually be my favorite S+F so far. Not much pistachio, but it’s cozy and comforting in that same creamy way that Yara is! Perfect bedtime scent. Just don’t expect much pistachio!

This is IDENTICAL to Yum Pistachio Gelato by Kayali. I picked this up from Winners (Canada) in a sample set with three other fragrances and they’re all incredible, but this one stands out. I own Yum by Kayali and honestly this is indistinguishable from it. I only wish this came in a spray version!

Love, love, LOVE this one. I can’t stop sniffing my wrist when I wear it. Perfect combination of sweet and nutty! Gorgeous scent, I prefer it to Yum Pistachio Gelato. I do wish the longevity was better though!

Found this at TJ Maxx for $15. I can confidently say this is a spot on dupe for KAYALI yum pistachio gelato. For being oil based it last surprisingly long on my skin. Will definitely use this for layering!

This is a delightful fragrance oil. You can truly smell all the notes listed and they blend together perfectly to form a delicious and pleasant pistachio ice cream scent. It's gourmand and yummy!

Sooo creamy, nutty and definitely a good dose of pistachio. It definitely gives pistachio ice cream. Might even be better than the Kay Ali it’s inspired by. Gourmand girls will love!!

This is absolutely delicious! Somehow smells like warm pistachio ice cream and is surprisingly clean smelling. Layers beautifully with Sand + Fog White Vanilla!

The fragrance oil is quite long lasting with a nice moderate sillage. I don't personally know how the regular spray perfume performs in those areas.

If you like Kayali Yum, you will love this. It’s a perfect dupe and helps with the longevity of the original when layered. YUM!!!

Love this. I pick up the pistachio, but for some reason, I get a hint of evergreen tree smell

Beautiful. Pretty much am exactly dupe for Yum Pistachio Gelato by Kayali.

I like it a lot, but then I don't. Then, I return to liking it again. I prefer it wafting in the air much more than I did while it was on me until 30 minutes passed. I actually think it's quite heavy. I tested it indoors though, it's possible that I would prefer it outside in the cold air. I'm surprised people have said this is light, it wasn't in my opinion (I love gourmonds, but this kind of challenged me for a little bit and stuck in the nostrils). It's very, very pistachio but not acrually ice-creamy to me...rather, it's a warm dessert. It's like pistachio Jell-O, or a pistachio pie atop a graham-cracker crust. It's a thick gourmond, and an absolute wall of fragrance, especially at close range. It absolutely smells gooey, marshmallowy and substantial. Most of the notes do show up. It's a gourmond that truly induces hunger, you might find yourself craving sweets after wearing this one 🤭 Really decent if you're into gourmond pistachio. I've not tried Kayli's Pistchio Yum...whatever-it's-called. So I'm unsure how this stacks up as a dupe, but it's enjoyable.

This is one of those rare perfumes where you actually get all the notes listed! It smells just as you think it would smell based on the notes pyramid. A nutty opening, then sweet marshmallow, with a creamy caramel base. I get moderate longevity (~5 hours) and moderate sillage. As much as I like this scent, it has made me realize that I am not a rollerball or perfume oil fan. (1) I have learned that rollerballs are somewhat unsanitary, and (2) Perfume oil is kind of messy, plus I like spraying scent on my clothes and hair. If you get this oil on your clothes, it does wash out thankfully. What I have been doing recently is putting on this oil after the shower, rubbing it in, spraying on SC Sweet Tooth EDP, then layering it with TreeHut's Aurora Nights body mist. This combo smells awesome! I like this as a layering oil, but as much as I really like this scent, I don't think I would repurchase this perfume oil.

Very very different from a lot of what I typically wear, but a good edition! I get a salty, almost slightly lemon smell at the very first application with a STRONG pistachio smell. The sillage is actually decent for a while. As an oil, this quickly becomes mostly a close to skin scent with a slight trail. The pistachio starts strong and lingers the length of the perfume, becoming sweeter and more powdered as it goes. The sugar/marshmallow takes a bit to kick in, so it’s not significantly sweet and never becomes cloying. Works amazingly well with vanilla, pistachio, and/or almond lotions.

i really love this as an affordable layering oil. perfect gourmand with the right amount of greenness to keep it from being coying. it is more of a dessert pudding pistachio, heavy on the nutty. I do agree with a reviewer that it gives a weird, generic, soapy, baby-wipe vibe at the beginning. it dissipates but its there. regardless, for $15 I'll just put it on a bit before I leave the house, worth it.

Wow, I love this! Smells just like Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato, but it skips the citrusy opening and goes straight to the creamy and delicious pistachio and marshmallow dry down. I personally love Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato, but for those of you who feel like it was ruined by the bergamot/citrus in the opening, then you may really like Pistachio Dream! I love them both 🥰

Love this fragrance oil as a way to amp up any praline notes in perfumes. It smells good, sweet nutty and almost has a bit of a bright citrusy clean smell in the background just like YPG. On it's own it doesn't wow me just like YPG but as a base layer for another perfume like angham, it makes it much "rounder" and more cohesive.

I'm not a fan of green/floral scents at all, but I LOVE the brief green/floral opening of this fragrance which I'm assuming is the pistachio note. After the dry down, it smells like straight-up pistachio ice cream - nutty and creamy with a bit of vanilla. I've yet to smell a bad fragrance from Sand + Fog.

It opens like a pistachio/almond oil diffuser to me, but dries down to a pistachio ice cream scent. The fragrance oil is clean in the way that it smells cold or chilled to me almost. I feel neutral to it but will see how it plays with other scents in my collection.

i have the perfume oil & this smells delicious and lasts a good 6 hours on me. great for layering, definitely a warm gourmand pistachio rather than a light one. would definitely recommend due to the affordable price and longevity

The opening is very soapy mixed with sweetness but the dry down is omg sooo sweet, a true gourmand and all the notes are there 💕 One of my favorites for winter and cozy times. Spot on dupe of Kayali yum pistachio gelato.

If you really like yum pistachio Gelato by Kayali, this is probably the cheapest dupe. It smells nearly identical to it and if you pair both this and the perfume it’ll smell sooo good

I don’t typically love overly sweet scents but I like this. I think it’s because I truly pick up on that nutty smell with a hint of cream.

Smells just like Yum Pistachio when you do a side-by-side sniff. Yum Pistachio is a bit fruitier while Sand+Fog is nuttier. Very nice!

Yum pistachio gelato in another bottle with a rollerball, except the pistachio is ‘deeper’ and more green. Overall, I love it

Literally an exact dupe for Kay Ali Yum Pistachio Gelato. I would have bought this but I don’t need double of the same scent.

Had high hopes for this one, but it left me a little disappointed. I was expecting something very almond like (like sugar cookies or wedding cake), but got nothing but green+florals with the first dab. Later on dries off to vanilla, but nothing gourmand. Comes off incredibly weak. I am probably not taking this in like others are. Ended up gifting it to a friend.

im not a sweet perfume kind of person, so I naturally am not big on this. however, compared to other sweet perfumes, this is decent--- if you're headache-prone like me, this isn't irritating or offensive in its sweetness. the lactonic notes are very subtle, not clumpy and weird. would love to smell this on somebody else! just not for me.

Beautiful scent, I'm not into sweet scents, but I fell in love with this one, lovely fresh opening. To me is very similar to Kayali Yum Pistachio, but this one is a little more simple, and the drydown is less sweet

Comes across as slightly fruity like apricot or something to me, can't quite put my finger on it but it's a little gummy bear-ish. Also, it smells like baby wipes, which is surprising since there isn't any alcohol in this, but there's a definite powdery+alcohol combo. I don't get a strong pistachio vanilla vibe. edit- the longer it sits the fruity note leaves and it's just pure baby wipe.

I wanted to love this so badly but it's just mediocre. For the first 20 minutes, it smells IDENTICAL to the generic pink hand soap in every public bathroom. After it really dries down and sinks in, it turns into a nice, sweet little pistachio scent. I do find myself smelling my wrist a lot but it does not project at all and wears off very quickly. I'm disappointed.

A very grassy pistachio scent, not sweet in the slightest on my skin. Has minimal sillage and lasts about 2 hours. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ✔️ Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato: almost identical ❌ Snif Heal the Way: the nuttiness is much less grassy ❌ Zara Pistachio Infusion: a fresh apple scent, not nutty at all

Hated this scent It smelled like baby powder soap to me. I couldn't wash it off fast enough.

This brands perfume oils are such gems as far as performance. A 50 ml bottle would last me forever. Projection is surprisingly good but longevity I find is mediocre, I’d say around 3-4 hours. I will try layering this with other perfumes and lotions. Now when it comes to this one, it is soooo nutty and powdery. I probably put on way too much because it made me nauseous after a couple hours. It’s very sweet but it’s a cold, dry, powdery sweetness. This would be amazing to pair with SDJ 71 to tone down its stickiness, they’d complement each other nicely. I get no marshmallow whatsoever, the pistachio note is the star front and centre. Vanilla closely follows along with a concoction of sugar notes. It lacks warmth and creaminess I was looking for. For the price point though, this one is a little gem.

(Oil) I absolutely adore this on its own or paired with one of my favorites gourmands (Lataffa’s Affection). This is a long-wearing, skin & hair friendly fragranced oil that beautifully blends sweetened pistachios, lactonic notes & vanilla. I haven’t tried this brand’s traditional perfumes, but I have every intention of trying more of their oils like this! I receive a lot of compliments when I wear this, particularly when layered with Affection and Chocomusk oil. I get about 5 + hours of longevity with about 3 feet of projection (when worn on its own). A few drops gives a lot of mileage. I’ve used less than half a bottle and that’s with heavy use over several months. A little goes a long way. 9/10

I went looking for Praline & Pistachio and took this home instead as a consolation prize. A much drier, roasted pistachio than what's in the Kayali perfume. It has none of the perfume's "icy" opening. I enjoy this for layering with several different nutty fragrances. Not very strong on its own, very diluted for an oil, which is fair for the price per mL, but I would have happily paid more for a stronger formula in a smaller bottle.

I had the perfume oil version of this in my hands at TJMaxx ($14.99). I think this scent is extremely interesting and am definitely planning to buy it for the Mrs. It has such a light creamy pistachio smell, any woman who like pistachios would probably be a fan.

Doesn’t smell like pistachio to me but it is delicious. Seems like it would be a great option for an oil base to “sweeten” and enhance the longevity of any vanilla fragrance. Likewise with any of the Sand&Fog vanilla heavy oils.

I really love the pistachio! At first, I just wasn't used to the notes. But, it's very ice creamy. If you come into hug me, you can smell it, but if you don't come into hug me you can't smell it.

Spot on dupe of Yum Pistachio. Can buy at TJ Maxx for $15 and layers soooo nicely with Yum Pistachio for increased longevity. Perhaps a TAD greener, but smells like 97% the same.
