Miana

When I frirst tried it, it was intense and also warm, like wrapped in a beautiful and cozy coat. Miana is a really powerful, sensual fragrance, I never think it's too much, it makes me feel complete, warm, sexy and irresistible. Since its notes change throughout the day, it's playful and reveals different sides, never the same, like a woman. ;) I tested it on a gentleman's skin, must admit it was really nice and sophisticated, too.

Miana is my second favorite fragrance from this edition. It is definitely a great unisex that fits perfectly for both sexes. It is sweet and has a hint of scented plasticine and powder. I like it much..

Smells like some cough drops: herbal, citrusy and little sweet. It’s nice calming scent with aromatic notes and woody base (also lots of patchouli in here). It reminds me of some classics, but I can’t pull off the name... Follow me on IG: scent.guide

Not for me. Got a pretty good sized sample, but way too feminine for my taste. Scent on me 2.3/10 Scent on a woman 7.4/10

It starts as a light, old-fashioned floral amber. It's a smelled before endeed, it's very close to Shalimar, and I mean VERY close in the opening and mid. It opens with both bergamote and lemon(50-50), then it transitions into a fresh rose, which then gets mixed with something very balsamic. The balsamic quality becomes stronger and stronger, and overtakes the rose. Late dry down smells sweet and balsamic. Maybe it has amber-like quality, but doesn't smell like an amber. It smells rather old-fashioned, imo. Nice, but not for me.

There's something about this, sophisticated feeling perfume that reminds me of my Aunts and Grandmother when I was young. Not in an old fashioned way, maybe this is the shalimar association. A soft, cool, clean powdery vanilla. It feels smart and elegant. Not my usual taste, but I love this. Like someone else said, there's something captivating and it's not anything synthetic feeling or anything like hedione...perhaps it's just classic feeling elegance.

I was looking for a replacement for Prada L'eau Ambree, not Shalimar 😂😂 Okay more seriously, opens very much Shalimar, has a floral balsamic heart and then bam is identical to L'eau Ambree in the dry down. So I kinda got what I wanted? It has more citruses on top, extra rosewood in the heart and vanilla opoponax accord in the base. Miana is still the closest perfume (even if only in the drydown) to Prada L'eau Ambree. I'm quite happy.

This is one of the most unique perfumes that I have ever smelled, as it combines freshness with a strong and sweet warmness; but without falling into those categories. It is an addictive perfume, I would say- a beautiful vanilla trace. There are interesting creations within this house but I believe this one is the star according to my taste. There is this extra “something” in Miana that captures the smeller.
