Abiquiu

Most interesting, because on my skin the experience is exactly the opposite of Amos (review from 2014). I find the florals fade over time and the spicy oriental notes remain. Or perhaps I should say the florals meld more completely into the spicy oriental notes, leaving a hint or memory of the florals. Abiquiu is a warm, beautiful and subtle oriental, not an in-your-face attention-seeker, so perfect for situations where your scent needs to be subtle-- in the office, at dinner, at the theater etc. I think this is a characteristic of true botanical fragrances, at least botanicals made with the highest quality ingredients. On me even a tiny application lasts a delightful 12 hours, so it is a great value. Definitely a repeat buy!

Abiquiu is a nice oriental/floral. It begins with an opening of vanilla, benzoin, some spices (cardamom, coriander, pepper) and some light sweet notes underlying the rest of the fragrance. Over time the oriental notes begin to fade and the floral notes appear more strongly. To me, the heart of the fragrance is a rose/narcissus and pepper mix. I only got a couple of wears out of this, but it's very nice and all of the notes smell very natural. I would recommend.
