"Where is the vetiver, Miss?" "Right down the aisle, under the stacks of eucalyptus and jasmine." For anyone coming to Miss Betty Vair expecting a vetiver-driven composition, I'll have to stop you right here and redirect you to a completely separate storage facility because there's not really much vetiver to find here. But for anyone interested in a very enjoyable-to-wear jasmine & eucalyptus fragrance, Miss Betty here got you covered. Albeit it's slightly more feminine leaning, I think a man can easily get away with it. It opens with a sharp burst of bright, zesty, and quite aromatic lemon which instantly sets the tone for a good mood, even if it's short-lived. Some nutmeg joins along to provide a warm, soft spice and whispered cinnamon-like sweetness which is very smoothly integrated. Speaking about smoothly integrated, the eucalyptus and jasmine here pair beautifully. The jasmine is hardly overpowering; quite the contrary, it's clean, lightly heady, and even has a light creamy undertone. It's not the usual intoxicating white floral sweetness, but a more balanced and softer/cleaner take on it. The eucalyptus offers a cooling, camphoraceous accord which is both refreshing and slightly soothing, with a little bit of minty sweetness as well. Unfortunately, not much else happens to get a big reaction afterwards. The eucalyptus and jasmine fall gently into this soft, fluffy musk basket adorned with bits of oakmoss for a touch of dampness. The patchouli is hardly strong either, mostly contributing to the muskiness, while also adding some woodiness that should be reflected stronger with additional earthy faces by the vetiver, yet to my nose, the vetiver barely even manages to get a whisper through. So you're largely left with a pleasant yet unexciting musky finisher. I will say though, that the blending and overall balance of notes is a step up from Egnaro or Verdant Delirivm. The notes here blend together more seamlessly and they are more equilibrated. But then again, it's also not as expressive or radiant as the aforementioned, yet it is still undoubtedly the same style of perfumery. Performance was overall decent for me. Miss Betty Vair reached about 10 hours in longevity, while in projection it claimed a 6/10, with a pretty potent first hour, but a much softer follow up, hardly detectable 3-4 hours in unless you sat uncomfortably close to me. It doesn't strike me as a scent you'd want beast mode projection for, however; the profile just asks for a more restrained, gentle, civilized pushing power. I feel Miss Betty Vair, even though unisex, will still not be something a man would often reach out to, as pleasant as it may be, as it still feels predominantly feminine, not only because of the name. That will limit versatility for men. But for women? Signature worthy. Office, gatherings, brunch, special events... It's fit for most activities you could think of, without putting the spotlight on you, but also without going by completely unnoticed. Even though Miss Betty Vair is not entirely my style of perfumery, I would be lying if I said that I don't enjoy it. And I think most people would enjoy it and find it a very pleasant scent, at least on others if not on themselves. Unfortunately, I think the base is just rather lackluster and things turn quite soft, as in musky soft, pretty quickly. And with the added feminine profile, I would indeed not find myself reaching for this too often, even though I don't have a problem with that in this particular instance. But I do believe it's worth trying, and I think it can easily become a top contender for a "feel good" scent. It will depend on you if it's good enough to validate its €185/100ml price tag. Oh no, this is a mess. It's a silver musk blended with an over sweetened dirty vetiver with plenty of oakmoss and some seaweed as it turns into a kitchen smell after few minutes. It's not animalic rather than cooking smell and seaweed mixed with nutmeg, oakmoss, and dirt vetiver.

نقد و بررسی عطر Miss Betty Vair Miss Betty Vair خانوم بِتی وایی بر عکس اسمش؛ یه عطر مردونه ی رسمی و جدیه. درسته که مجموعه ی وایت کالکشن سانتی بورگاس عطرایی در خودش داره که در بی پروایی، جسارت و صراحت؛ در سطح بالایی قرار دارن اما "میس بتی وایی"؛ یکی از آثار آروم و منعطف این کالکشن بحساب میاد که میشه برای حضور در مکان های رسمی و موقعیتهای خاص ازش استفاده کرد؛ کاری که در مورد استفاده از دیگر هم خانواده های جسور و سرکشش، تقریبا نباید انجام داد. مگر اینکه از جسارت و ماجراجویی لذت ببرید. به شخصه از نگاه اقلگرا و ویژه ی عطرای این مجموعه لذت می برم. چیزی که جالبه استفاده از نتهای آشنا و تکراری مثل رز و عود در یه سری کارای این مجموعست که در قالب ترکیبی خلوت اما در هیبتی خوفناک و رُعب آور به نمایش در میان؛ اما "میس بِتی وایی"؛ از این قاعده مستثنی هست و باید گفت عطری هست برای مصاحبت با خانوم بتی وایی و هر خانوم دیگه ای؛ در هر گوشه از دنیا که میشه با یه کار مردونه ی چوبی-اسپایسی بدجور متأثرش کرد! نسیم گرم و تا قسمتی شیرین که شروع وتیوری و کمی دودی عطر رو وارد فضای پیچیده ای میکنه؛ مثل یه شوک بود برام! در نظر بگیرید با یه عطر وتیوِر که ته مایه های خاکی و کمی دارویی داره و در مجموع بر وجه چوبی تأکید داره؛ مواجه هستید که یه بوی شیرین و اسپایسی ضعیف به حاشیه وارد میشه و به ناگاه در یه لحظه مثل یه گرد باد غبار آلود؛ گرما و شیرینی کار رو بالا می بره و بعد از اون محو میشه. بعد از این اتفاق، فضای عطر دیگه به روال سابق نیست. وتیور، خشک و جدی میشه و با پس زمینه ای خاکی و گیاهی، با جبهه ی اسپایسی-پچولی متحد میشه و شخصیت کلی عطر خانوم بتی شکل می گیره: چوبی، خاکی-اسپایسی، پچولیِ گیاهی و کمی دودی که در فضایی ملایم و معتدل جریان داره. عطر "میس بتی وایی" یه عصرونه ی پاییزی شیک و مجلله که روی بالکن مُشرِف به جنگل، به گفتگویی صمیمی و دلچسب دعوتتون میکنه. همه چیز در ملایمت و آرامشه و حس نابی از اعتماد و اقتدار در اون جاریه. یه آرامش متعادل و منعطف؛ درست مثل نسیم خنک و راز آلودی که از دل جنگل پاییزی می وزه. عطر شیک و باکیفیتی که یونیک نیست اما زیباست. موندگاری و پخش عطر در حد متوسط هست و این یکی دیگه از تفاوتهای عطر خانوم بتی با دیگر آثار وایت کالکشن رو رقم میزنه. کامنت: م.ع (سایت لوکس بایر (با امکان تست سمپل

Once it settles on the fabric (haven’t tried it on skin), smells exactly like a posy of fresh chamomile blended with high quality sheer but creamy musk. And in the base of the posy that violet leaf+vetiver Dior Fahrenheit accord lingers nicely in there somewhere. It’s the most authentic and beautiful fresh chamomile olfactory illusion I’ve smelt in a perfume. I have been hoping to find such one day, although I wasn’t searching. It has this rustic vibe for refined city dwellers. I really like it when I ignore the pyramid (the expectations it sets are confusing to me). I’m not sure if the herbal + fugere (barbershop) spring vibes about it suit exactly me, but someone who wears ivory linen garments and has sun-kissed fair wavy locks and healthy lifestyle zen aura about them is a very good representation for how this smells as an impression. It’s very beautiful, though. I’m not sure about longevity and sillage, but the quality can be smelt by senses and emotions too. It’s a reference to Fahrenheit, but in the gentlest of ways. It also pulls a white tea note on my skin in warm humid weather. Light and airy. Very fine brand (from what I’ve smelt so far). I’d wear this for myself, at home, for sense of peace and wellbeing.

This begins transparent, not a vetiver in sight, more like mimosa or bleached violet; a piney note makes it even more airy (website lists eucalyptus). Little by little though, a classic vetiver note is gaining momentum - oily, a tad smokey, sweetish, humid as a tropical island. I can tell there was rain and earth, oakmoss, woods and some deep shadows. A fougere in disguise. Sadly for me, there's a veil of contemporary-abstract woody musk on top of it, like an unnecessary attempt to modernize or cheer it up.

A very "fresh" fig/vetiver that almost has a floral quality to that dries down to basically that and white musk. The musk (and overall fragrance) has a very laundry detergent/ dryer sheet feel to it.
