Handle With Care

On my skin, Handle With Care is a fresh, green, tart and spiced fragrance. I get notes of coriander and citrus at the top, green tea in the middle and jasmine, ginger, musk and tannins in the base. This is not your generic fresh fragrance, it’s freshness comes from the spices instead of citruses or blue musks. Despite having bergamot listed as a note, i don’t visualise citruses, i do however get a sour / tart quality to it that blends with the tannin note. The “tannin” note i am trying to describe is a rich and deep flat scent, imagine the inside of a 50 year old tea pot, the years of tea having been steeped inside or the bitterness of the skin of a grape. I have never quite experienced such a note before. After the spices fade away, the dry down doesn’t evolve, but i surprisingly don’t get sick of it. It is reminiscent of the drink Qoo, a sour green grape drink popular in SG, it is slightly sour yet refreshingly light. This fragrance is truly unique and unconventionally safe. Performance is a beast for a freshie, projection is great and longevity is fantastic, 10 hours on skin and 72+ hours on clothes. At this point i feel like a shill but give this a try for yourself. Handle With Care is one of those fragrances that just feels right from the first spray. Unique, elegant and very well blended. Nothing sticks out, everything flows beautifully. Great longevity, very refined sillage. Quiet luxury in a bottle.
