Caresse

This is so delightful; soapy aldehydes, powdery iris, warm yet fluffy musk, and a sweet vanilla that lends a light yet unmistakable creaminess. Perfect all year round, I'd wear this out and about in warm weather and at night when lounging about in the colder months. Projects quite strongly off my skin and definitely leaves a trail, lingers for days on clothing. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I'd spent my whole life searching for a fragrance that smells like this: using an expensive soap in the shower, drying off with a pure cotton towel, and then slipping into a soft silky cream-coloured dress. I've tried so many expensive perfumes to get this feeling of purity and grace - this is exactly it! Crazy cheap for an excellent longevity!

Aptly named. Smells gentle and romantic. I don't usually like aldehydes, but they lift this up a bit and are done seamlessly. Very powdery, which is my favorite type of fragrance. Keep this in the rotation, Sapil! And make it available in the USA :)

Purchased as a blind buy because the price was ridiculous. I’m positively intrigued! I forgot it had aldehydes but you can detect them from the start — together with vanilla. Vanilla here is definitely sweet, but not too much, just the right amount sweet, ‘cooking powder’ type of vanilla, reminded me of delicious home-made pastries. And together with aldehydes it creates a bubbly, funky, even boozy and uplifting feeling. Somehow reminded me of vanilla cola or cream-soda. A mood maker for sure! As it dries down, the ylang-ylang note becomes more prominent and brings down the funky vanilla&aldehydes part a bit, giving the slight wet sourness nuance. Also the musky ‘soapiness’ comes out a little. To me this one is not cozy because it’s bright, active, but it’s kind and non-offensive. I’ll give a try to the other Sapil’s perfumes.

I purchased this as a blind buy and it was disappointing. Yes, it reminds me of soap, but not an elegant soap, but the cheap bars of "Caresse" that my mother used to buy. At first spray the aldehydes come out strong, which doesn't really go away; then the powdery iris and white florals. The musk and vanilla are strong and very sweet (and I like musk and vanilla - but not like this). The lasting power of this fragrance is long - 12 hours or more and the projection is moderately strong. My husband could smell it downstairs when I was in my upstairs office. He didn't like it either - felt it was too cloyingly strong. After I sprayed it on earlier in the day (3-4 sprays), in the hot weather here, the fragrance began to build on me and by the time I was going to bed I had to take a shower because it was overwhelming. Thankfully, I purchased it at Jomashop and can return it. Off it goes!

I got this today - so granted, it's an early review - but this scent is just overwhelming to me. I don't know how to use it because even the smallest drop seems to fill the room. It is very baby powdery and incredibly vanilla sweet and the combo is...a lot for me. It was suggested as a Caress soap type scent, but I feel its missing the soft, peachy freshness of the soap. Similar to Arden True Love but much sweeter and stronger. I just dont think I can use it.

No. Just no. I was hoping I'd love this one but it smells like a chemical mess and the dry down is like a rotten ham sandwhich. 😭😭😭
