Rave For Women

This is such an inexpensive gem. It reminds me almost exactly of Crystal Love For Her by Attar Collection, but I just got that one a month ago so I know it needs a lot more time to sit and develop. I found this at winner's, just smelling random perfumes. I sprayed it, and at first, it has that over ripe almost rotten fruit smell from the plum and it was very watery with no sillage. However, I knew from scents like Giorgio Armani sí that if I wait for it to settle, they will come alive. And it DID! It's a beautiful sweet and slightly powdery/woody femenin scent. Had a middle Eastern vide but not heavy or oud like thankfully. The powder from the Orris root is more fluffy, not cosmetic or baby powder like, which I hate. It's sweet but balanced very well by the papyrus and vetiver which are not detectable, they just prevent it from becoming immature or simple sweetness. And best of all, it's only $14!! The lasting power and projection are nothing special, but not horrible. I would say moderate, 4-6 hours, and I've gotten compliments on this one too. I will say though, for this to shine, it really needs to sit. Mine has been sitting for over a year and now that the juice is so dark, it's nice and sweet and stronger. In the beginning its more woody and dissappears faster. If you happen to see it at winner's, Marshall's, or TJ Max, try it out. It's a cute one to add to any collection for the price.

To my nose, this is a mildly sweet, amber saffron fragrance. The amber and safron are the stars of the show. I also get a bit of a smokey suede thing going on. Honestly though, there's a sourness that dominates the fragrance for so long, I can't stand wearing it. It smells like a gypsy wagon filled with sheep skins and old cat pee. Could just be my body chemistry tho. Does anyone else get that cloying sour note that persists for the first few hours? The more I sniff and ponder this concoction, I feel that it's missing some resinouse incense to give the fragrance some texture that would help to break up that cloying sour note an round out the experience. It just smells too synthetic for my tastes. Will likely be giving this away. Beware, this definitely shouldn't be getting a 4+ rating. I'd say it's a 3.2 at best. UPDATE: Not sure if this is due to maceration but this perfume smells waaay better now after leaving it sit for about 5 months. The cloying sour note is gone and what I smell now is a chocolaty vanilla suede saffron warm hug. I absolutely love it!

This is one of my must-have-all-the-time perfumes, and I’ve got A LOT of perfume. I’ve already gone through an entire bottle and started on my second and I only discovered it about 6 months ago. I keep it by my bed and wear it almost every single night. Feeling stressed? Sapil Rave. Feeling sad? Sapil Rave. Just want to smell AMAZING? Sapil Rave. God I love it so much. I do mostly wear it at night because it’s comfort in a bottle to me. It’s slightly sweet, perfect amount of powdery, slightly woody. It does get better with time, I will say, as the second bottle isn’t as potent yet as the first, but I’m sure it’ll get there, for the price I might as well get a 3rd one now and spray it a few times and “let it sit” for when I’ll eventually need it, haha. I hope they never stop making it. Love love looovvveeee.

I found this perfume at Marshall's the same price as stated by Lady Licorice. It caught my eye from the other bottles without boxes. Its flacon design is sleek and modern and made out of thick glass. It is obvious that is not cheaply made. I checked the bottom and it is marked made in UAE (United Arab Emirates). Knowing that the Arabs love their perfumes, I know it must be good. A single spritz on my wrist and waited a few seconds and took a sniff, it smells divine! A few minutes later, another spritz on the back of my hand and it smells heavenly! Love at first sniff.

O my goodness! This is absolutely beautiful! I found a bottle on Mercari and just thought "that looks interesting"... I fell in love! It resembles, to me, Bonfire Bash by Bath and Body Works!!! But better! What!? Rave is the best perfume buy in a very long time! So delicious. Rich and almost tobacco or leather and a soft creaminess. This liquid in my bottle looks a bit different than the juice featured on the Sapil website but omy I don't even care! It must've just aged and became this wonderful scent I am smelling! Need backups for certain!!!
