Sometimes you smell something and you can't really think of anything specific to say about it, it just smells really GOOD. That's this fragrance. It's not earth-shattering or particularly innovative, but it's well done and it just smells good! Sarah Horowitz is the queen of the drydown as far as I'm concerned, and this is no exception. It's a clean, creamy sandalwood with a hint of vanilla, and just enough fruitiness in the top to give it vibrancy. Allegedly it's blood orange but it's almost cucumber-y to me. Maybe that's the combo with the cardamom. Projection is moderate but longevity is really decent! This is a great cocooning bedtime fragrance, but it's also extremely wearable out and about. The only thing standing between me and the one million compliments I deserve wearing this is my hermit lifestyle. Oh, and if you like London Fog, absolutely give this a try, the DNA is similar but I think Hereafter is better.

Hereafter by Sarah Horowitz This is a unique, Creamy, Alluring very Versatile and completely unisex Fragrance with very high quality ingredients on it. This is very appealing and easy to wear, yet very complex and "Niche" if I may. Scent: In my nose, this opens with a blast of Blood Orange, very Fruity with some citric nuances, with sensual cardamom, Atlas Cedar and a pinch of Vanilla. The Blood Orange and the Vanilla are going to stay though all the Fragrance's life. In the Mid we are going to get that orange vanilla combo with a very dry and aromatic Cedar and Iso E Super that Ballance all the composition into a creamy, semi Fruity unisex super Alluring Fragrance! On the drydown the orange tones down and comes out a creamy Sandalwood that gives a little bit of warmth to the composition. Performance: Longevity: 10hrs+ on skin, even more on clothes. Sillage: Elbows length from start to finish (arms length on high heat) Very sensual and inviting sillage ! Versatility: Completely Unisex, all season, all occasions, perfect for Dates. In a nutshell, Beautiful and Complex composition, beautiful bottle, creamy sexiness with very good versatility and performance. A little bit expensive for a regular buyer, considering is a 50ml EDP presentation. Collection Worthy For me: 9/10

If you like sandalwood scents (Santal 33, Bois de Balincourt) but you want something niche and a little different, this is the one for you. The tangy blood orange and creamy vanilla set this apart from other sandalwood scents, and the vanilla in particular mellows out any "pickle" note you might pick up from the sandalwood. Really lovely and extremely wearable. I think I like the extra spiciness from the nutmeg and vetiver in Bois de Balincourt for myself, but I would definitely recommend this one to other sandalwood lovers.

Nice fragrance. Initially I primarily get the cedar wood note and ISO. But a silky blood orange soon follows. The spices and vanilla are there, but subtle. Overall a sort of creamy woodsy citrus, slightly sweet. Very wearable.

Fresh rain and green, comforting powdery, lilies, almost aquatic. I like how it smells more on my clothes more than on my skin.

This is the only sample I was disappointed in. Not as much vanilla and blood orange as I was hoping for. Very pencil shaving cedar, with lots of woody aroma chemicals. This is also quite peppery to my nose. It may be the way I smell the I so e super in the composition. I read this as masculine. My husband likes this type of pencil shaving woody fragrance and he will wear this sample.

I like it but not full bottle worthy for me. I’m going to use the rest of my sample happily. Perfectly unisex, I think the cardamom is refreshing but what is turning me off. It doesn’t smell like juniper berries, but you know how juniper can be super overpowering over every other note? that’s what is happening with the cardamom in this. Still nice but again, a no for me.

If you like Santal 33 THIS is your bargain jam. It smells so similar to me. I may be in the minority, but I get pickles immediately. The same " scratch and sniff dill pickle sticker" from the 80's. It's nostalgic, but something I want to wear as a perfume.

i was really hoping for a creamy cocooning sandalwood with soft spicy notes and vanilla, but sadly, this sandalwood is the style that goes very dill-like on my skin (like santal 33 & bois de balincourt as others have mentioned). i detect zero blood orange (again, sadly). this is not the type of sandalwood that works with my skin chemistry but i’m jealous of everyone who doesn’t get a dill vibe!

I’ve been through a few samples of this starting with a couple freebies thrown in with another order) and I have plans now to buy a full bottle. I’m surprised this only has one other review. First, presentation; I think the bottle is beautiful and simple. There are 3 fragrances in this line and all have the same look. The scent itself is really unique to me. Hard to categorize. It is crisp and almost “minty” in its refreshingness, but there is no mint note. But it has that “quality” to it. And while it is cool and refreshing, it has a woody warmth going on at the same time...so it is to me both cool and warm simultaneously. I absolutely get the sandalwood, cedar, iso e super, and it must be the vanilla that sweetens it. It really performs well, too. I recall that it is a high concentration of oils, but I don’t know what. The sample vials each lasted me several wearing, and it lasts for hours and radiates off my skin. It’s not cheap but you can find discounts occasionally.

this feels like a lower-budget alternative to another 13. great for all seasons, day & night, and even in the office.
