JOURNEYS 4/RIMA

I am Wearing this beauty right now. It starts off w/ a heavy earthy patchouli but don't let that scare you off, it settles quickly. And when it settles it becomes such wonderfully blend amber fragrance. The floral notes bloom as the fragrance warms on your skin. I smell a night blooming garden of dark and deeply mysterious roses and irises spiced with hypnotic Opium, (oh how I love the Opium here!) patchouli, rich balsamic vanilla, rare Mysore Sandalwood, creamy benzoin, heavy molasses like labdanum. For me this is what "gourmand" should be. My nose can't stop "drinking" in this heavenly nectar of exotic and precious materials that have been so finely blended. This perfume takes you on a mystical Journey to exotic and distant lands. It smells ancient, mysterious, and very sensual. Journeys is a feast for the senses. It is what really good quality niche/indie perfume should always be. Rare, highly natural, exotic and very long lasting. Quality ingredients went into making this beautifully enchanting fragrance. When I wear this, I feel like I am wearing something extremely precious. For those that like rich floral amber fragrances w/ a deep orris presence. One of the best amber fragrances I have come across in my many, many samples. If you love fragrances like Chanel Le Lion, Ormande Jayne Tolu, but also like chypre like Patou's Sublime, and spicy ambers like YSL Opium you will love Journeys as well. So well blended, very precious and rare materials here of excellent quality. Another fragrance this reminds me of is Providence Perfume Co Irisque because there is such a deep orris here. Powdery but earthy as well. I just love this and will buy a FB. Absolute love for me but only for those that love really deep amber fragrances that are floral, very balsamic and powdery. Another fragrance with a very iris and patchouli combo if you like this one Bvlagari Patchouli Tentation you will love Journeys. And Guerlain new Shalimar L'essence or vintage Samsara. Or Patou's Chaldee. These are the types of fragrances I live for.
