Perfect Nectar

After reading the description, I wasn't sure whether this one would work for me. I usually like but don't love overly fruity fragrances. However, I absolutely adore this one. It's essentially the feeling of some sort of peachy/apricot drink. The mango and papaya blend together to give the fragrance a warm, sweet appeal. I'm very glad that the ylang-ylang is present to break up the scent a bit and add interest. Overall, the scent feels high quality and rich, which is difficult to me in heavy fruit fragrances. This one wears well without being too soft or too overpowering.

OK....I see what a lot of the reviews are saying about this fragrance. BUT...I loved it from the moment I sprayed the tester. I kept sniffing my wrist over and over throughout the day. Is it sweet? YES. Very. But absolutely delicious. Like a ripe fruit. It's a little too sweet for work, but I layered it with Kensie and it helped add some balance.

I love it for summer, it's a sweet apricot fruity scent, ends up a soft floral, it's high quality with the lasting power and concentration of ingredients as with her other perfumes.

I can totally understand what the other reviewers are saying, but on my skin it never crosses into too sweet or overripe fruit. I found myself smelling my wrist all day and smiling. Honey, nectarine, peach, and mango. I also get something herbal and flowery, which reminds me of chamomile (probably the ylang ylang). There's something in there that makes this scent feel grounded and a little more complex than just fruity, but I'm not sure what it is. My husband says it also smells clean, like laundry, and called it "nice but not the best," and I think that's because there's an aspect of this that does remind me of a glade plug in-- sometimes artificial, but not necessarily in a bad way. It reminds me of Byredo Mojave Ghost Absolu, but Mojave Ghost Absolu is more complex. Great for a casual day outside, though I wouldn't recommend it for (forced/artificial) close proximity, like an office cubicle, movie theater, or convention situation. Very summery, but for some reason stone fruits also seem cozy to me (idk why), so I could also see it as an oddball mood lifter on a dry, warm Fall day or even a festive Winter day. Not sure why, but Spring doesn't feel right. Surprisingly light, in the 3 to 5 spray range, and sillage is intimate to medium for me. I unfortunately cant speak for longevity because I applied scented sunscreen mid-day, which completely overpowered this scent.

Whoever said this smelled like Amouage gold woman must be insane. This perfume is a tropical fruity floral. Amouage Gold woman is an aldehydic floral. Perfect Nectar is Not my style but I wanted to smell it because my youngest sister loves these types of perfumes. Perfect Nectar is like a tropical fruit salad at first. Mango, papaya are very strong but as it goes along the ylang and white florals add balance in the heart. The tea note is very refreshing here and I adore the addition of it. Boy so many designer "mango" fragrances on the market should copy this one instead because to get me to like a mango/papaya fragrance is no easy task. This is a good one. Balanced and not sugary sweet like most on the market today.

My friends love when I wear this. They say I smell like candy. I really like it since it's fruity with that added ylang-ylang, so I don't smell like I just spilled jello all over myself. It's actually very wearable in casual settings. It doesn't get cloying despite being very sweet and juicy. I really like it for summer days, but I'm sure I'll spritz it in other seasons when I want to reminisce about nicer weather.

My first evaluation of a fragrance from this line makes me want to sample them all, it's so lovely. I get floral over fruity, the papaya is evident. I agree this is a 'perfect nectar'.

This smells beautifully creamy and sweet, like a shampoo I wish existed. It leaves a wake of happiness and dries down to a lovely subtle floral. This is joy.

Perfect Nectar is incredibly fruity and sweet but something changes the sweetness on my skin and it turns to a musky mess. Something about most SH perfumes turn on my skin and I find that peculiar. I can smell the juicy papaya for 30 minutes and then after that - musty hot mess. I smell like a fruity cocktail left out in the blazing sun all day. I just smell ... off. I never smell the tea or white flowers. Another unfortunate aspect is that it lasts all day continually morphing into an even stickier, sun-baked cocktail.

This is a test of the fragrance oil: At first I thought I smelled pineapple - must have been the combination of papaya and tangerine. Has a bit of green to it keeping it from being too cloying & sweet. I liked the fragrance better in the drydown. I don't get where it's "almost edible". The ylang ylang keeps it from smelling like you could eat it. Alas, it's on the low like, high dislike side for me. I wished it was more fruity and sweet and less florally. Great staying power and intensity for a fragrance oil.

This is not a tropical papaya smell; the papaya & tangerine come off more peach to my nose. The best way I can describe this: it smells exactly like a lit peach-scented candle. It's sweet, waxy (the white flowers, I guess), and smoky (the tea), in layers. Slightly synthetic, but not in a bad way. It's NOT "foody," and is clean smelling. Very strong, you don't need much, and it lasts well. It's pretty, but I prefer this smell in my home and not on me.

I have the Perfect Sampler kit and this is number 4 out of 6. It’s also the most challenging, nothing I would ever want to wear on my skin. In fact, Perfect Nectar smells like my last Uber ride. Not a pleasant experience. Desperate for an escape, I had to ride with my window down in freezing temperatures. I loved Sarah’s Perfect Gardenia. But this one is ugly.

I concede her perfumes aren't my favorite but there is something extremely artificial smelling about this one, which amazes me. Lots of mango and noticeable papaya. I'm not detecting any citrus, which would improve this tremendously. I think the identified white flower is what's off to me. Don't hate it, certainly don't love it.

Smells remarkably like Smiggle (or at least Smiggle when I was a kid). Nostalgic but I can't stop thinking about how I smell like a pencil case.

This just smells like car refresher to me, its no go for me, glad I only got a sample. Just smells to cheap and artificial.

This has kind of a dirty diaper undertone that I find very off-putting ☹️ It would be a nice tropical fruity scent otherwise

From the name, I was thinking that Sarah Horowitz Perfect Nectar might be some sort of honey perfume, but when I donned the juice, I concluded immediately that it was a nectarine scent! Definitely fruit. Now, having looked at the note pyramid, I see that it is more a mishmash of various orange fruits. To be honest, it smells a bit stale, but it could be incompatible with my natural skin scent. I'm not a fruity fragrance person at all...

I just received my sample of this from Olfactif today. Icky! It's peachy, sweet, syrupy, Jollie Rancher like. I am not a fan of fruity fragrances at all and I find this one particularly stomach turning for me. Now I understand what people mean by "scrubber" when referring to fragrance.
