Stash SJP Unspoken

Ok, I’m obsessed with this. The original Stash is one of my all time favourites, I think if I had to choose 1 scent to wear forever it would be SJP Stash, I just love it so. When I read that this was a more feminine approach to the original, which is unisex, I was intrigued. I often wear women’s fragrances and no one knows any difference, and really no one cares, it’s 2020 after all, it shouldn’t be a big deal that a man is wearing something aimed at a woman. Anyway, when I first sprayed it on the paper I thought it smelt nothing like Stash, but I still bought it because I wanted the bottle for my SJP Collection and I thought that maybe one day I will wear it. Well strike me down and call me Sally, I’ve been wearing it all week and I am in love. At first it really doesn’t smell like Stash at all, it doesn’t have that strong coconut type smell, but after it’s settled for a little while you see the beauty come out in it. After about an hour you can really smell the DNA of Stash, with just a touch of extra sweetness, I’m guessing this sweetness is what was added to make it more feminine. Gone is the massoia wood base that is prominent in the original Stash. This is a little more well blended than the OG Stash, it seems to have a few more layers, it’s an interesting and very handsome scent. As I said before I reckon this isn’t just for women, it does smell unisex to me, as long as you don’t mind losing the woody base then for sure give this a go. One thing I notice is that the presentation of this isn’t near as fancy as the OG Stash. I remember when I got my first bottle of that I was so impressed because it was in this beautiful velvet bag and the sticker on the bottle was an actual ribbon. Unspoken has no velvet bag and the sticker is just a metallic sticker, gone is the extra-ness. Oh well, it’s what’s inside the bottle that matters and this is gorgeous juice. SJP you’ve done it again. Now!! When will we ever get to see Stash: Prive? I cross my fingers in hope. Have a lovely day and thank you for reading.

The perfect feminine counterpart to the original masculine-leaning Stash. The yin to the yang. While the fruiter, sweeter notes and marketing of Unspoken may read traditionally feminine, despite lacking the original's spicy barbershop opening, it still retains an identifiable amount of the original's DNA and even unisex appeal. A deliciously fuzzy blend of quince and pink peppercorns over a familiar musky, woodsy base. I even detect some of the same nutty warmth from the original's pistachio note. Suitable more for daywear but easily translatable to the evening. Leans slightly more cold-weather in it's density, but unlike the original Stash, still suitable for warmer days in the freshness of it's top notes. Perhaps a calculated if still wonderfully effective response to the bold, gender-defying approach of the original, meeting mainstream expectations unlike the former but still of such interest and simply so well done that once again, SJP transcends the realm of celebrity perfume. Another arguably niche-level offering disguised as a run-of-the-mill celebrity fragrance. Performance is near-identical to the original, with fair longevity and projection for it's comparatively low price point. Of all the now discontinued Stash range, Unspoken in particular can still be found online and in discount stores at bargain prices. Despite the packaging and marked differences from the original Stash, Unspoken is no dull, watered-down version of the original's bold character. It's just as thoughtful and well-rounded, paying homage to its roots while offering a safer option for those opposed to Stash's more masculine character and a sweeter alternative for those already in love with the original.

I have hot damp slightly acidic skin that can burn through top notes in seconds so this is a GREAT fragrance for me. The opening burst is velveted peony, coconutty wood shavings and dash of pink peppercorn under a halo of aniseed. Creamy sandalwood and tonka are the main body. The quince is not a fresh fruit, rather a quince paste which comes off as lightly-honeyed fig -adjacent. Theres something faintly incensy and the marketers definitely forgot to mention the patchouli which is of the smooth dark wood variety rather than the pungent kind. Texture-wise it is creamy & dry, velvety not powdery. As it dries down the coconut and aniseed disappear but a sense of nutty richness and luminosity remain. The musk in the base is sheer which maintains a sense of levity in what could have been a very dense formulation. Honestly, LOVE. I should mention that while my skin chemistry often skews scents sugary or sour, this is not one of them. It stays firmly in the natural/neutral zone. Theres tonka, theres a touch of honey but no added sugar. PS I can see why another reviewer compared this to the underrated peppery fig & patchouli FCUK Friction for Her, which is like a younger, fizzier, syrupy, louder cousin of Stash Unspoken.

I crave wearing this one. I adore Stash for cool weather and crave that one too, whereas I find Stash Prive to be a super easy reach (in a white t-shirt sort of way) as it has a body care lotiony sort of vibe. Stash Unspoken though, is COSY! Like shouty writing worthy, sweet, powdery and COSY! Gentle honeysuckle, but mainly powdery sandalwood and tons of Tonka bean. I don't get coconut myself. I find that to be quite a cold note and Unspoken is Warm with a capital W, but I can understand people mentioning coconut as unspoken does have a vibe of Katy Perry's Indi. I find Indi to be a cold and stand-offish scent - it feels like it's straight out of the fridge and has a coconut cream smell to me. Indi is a spring / summer perfume for in my collection and I love it. Stash Unspoken is like Indi's less uptight sister - it's what I reach for in cold weather to satisfy that same sandalwood mood, but it's soft and comforting like a fleecy blanket. I liked the smell when I first got it but was worried about how sweet it was so waited for cool weather. After the first wear I thought ooooh that's a keeper! After the second wear and it was love. After the third wear I bought a back-up bottle.... totally addictive!

I have to say, I'm not one for 'Celebrity Fragrances'.... but.. this is really good! I've not tried the original stash, I don't care for woody notes so it never appealed to me. I blind bought this based on the notes and that it was £25 at superdrug! I don't think I would pay full price, just because as a celebrity fragrance priced at £60 (100ml), I'd rather buy higher end at that rate. On to the fragrance itself; I really like it. It's different, the olibanum and tonka hold the fragrance, the quince and peony lift it. I get quite a lot of quince in this. I can definitely smell the honeysuckle which is a real bonus, as I love that note. I feel as if there is some birch in it, but it's not listed. I'm not sure if I get a lot of the wisteria, all the same, I find this well blended. This is what I would have liked Chanel Gabrielle to have been like. It's different, feminine, floral and 'sparkling'. Kudos to SJP - I found a celeb fragrance that was worth buying! So far it's got good sillage and wear time is about five hours on me.

I don't like sweet, I don't like fruity, but SJP did it again, I love this fragrance. I bought it out of respect towards the original Stash (all time favourite of mine, together with Covet). Now, this scent is nowhere nearby Stash or Covet in terms of originality. But still, it has some character I would say, the lingering flowery-coconut, the quince, it is all very pleasant. It projects well, much better than the former two, and also longer lasting, at least on me. Layers amazingly with the OG Stash, despite not having too much in common. I have Privé as well, but I'm not nearly as impressed as with this one. Smelling Privé I have the feeling that I smell this type of light perfume on well-dressed women all the time, while I would easily recognise Unspoken on someone, not that there is a big chance anyone wearing it :) I understand why it is compared to Indi, but imo Unspoken is much much better in terms of complexity and quality. I would say this is blind buy safe, if you don't hate coconut and santal/tonka.

SJP Stash Unspoken is a really pretty warm, creamy, resin-y sweet perfume. It's absolutely in the same vein as the Estee Lauder Sensuous line and also similar to Valentino Valentina Myrrh Assoluto, but is just a tad more fruity-floral than those two. To my nose, I smell some quince which lends it a freshness along with the honeysuckle -- though, to be honest, I don't pick up on honeysuckle, specifically, just a sweet floral note that's neither rose nor gardenia, tuberose, tiare, or lily, just to name a few! It's so very pretty, I could see it as a super-easy reach, on the regular. Plus, it has good longevity, especially on clothes. It may not be groundbreaking or unique, but it sure smells goooood...! Incidentally, it has absolutely nothing to do with the original SJP Stash and I don't know why they released it as a flanker and, while I respect the OG Stash, I don't like wearing it and gave away my bottle. But I can tell you, I WILL be using my Stash Unspoken! <3

i have only just started exploring sjp perfumes, kinda of a rabbit hole thing. Stuck in covid lockdown, Melbourne , Aus, apperently toughest lockdown in the world at this time? So buying perfume online. Finally bought Coco Madmoiselle, i hate it, it feels like i have had a big night out, thrown up and smell that really sickly smell of regret. It is just one note in coco mad i really dont like, it smells like top shelf puke, but sjp stash unspoken bought in same week is how i expected coco mad to smell. Addicted to this, but it doesnt last, i spray it everywhere, on bed linen etc, but doesnt stay, tried original stash too, love that, but once again no staying power. Realise costs involved and definately, you are getting bang for your buck with this , love this, if they could make with the staying power, i would pay the extra$

The quince and thyme are very evident on the opening. It feels woody, fruity and herbally all at once. Some natural fruity sweetness but not much. I cant help thinking that my skin amps up the quince note. It makes me think of Penhaligons Vaara which I am not keen on. I'm so glad I still decided to try Unspoken. The vetiver and pepper are definitely only bit players so nothing to fear. It does develop with the herbs fading along with fruity sweetness. It becomes more musky with faint echoes of wood notes, herbs and vetiver. If I concentrate I do detect the faint ghost of Stash but if Stash wasn't for you then try this. I would be surprised if many dislike this. It almost smells niche. This is a nice one for casual wear. It feels chilled. Its in Superdrug so do check it out.

I’ve been looking for a signature scent since I’ve been wearing Viva La Juicy for many moons. I think I found it with this! I love how creamy it is but still have a coconutty feel to it (despite not being a note) I definitely love it for a summer fragrance & it’s a great alternative for people who aren’t into tropical punch scents for the warmer months. Longevity sucks but $30 for 30ml in Aus I can just keep it in my bag and reapply. Though, it does mellow to a nice clean close to skin scent which I also like. It lingers just enough to be very gentle. The one thing I think of when smelling this is a woman who is not a try hard. Pretty, clean, low maintenance but still spectacular in her own right ! Very original type of person.

Blind bought this because I absolutely love Stash and I found this gift box on clearance at TJ Maxx. It's so much sweeter than what I usually wear but there is a lovely depth to it. It's not something you'd find at B&BW or Victoria's Secret. It's pretty unique given that it's sweet and floral/fruity. I definitely see the relation to Sensuous Nude, but I smell like baby powder when I wear SN and this doesn't have any kind of baby powder smell on me. It's nothing like the original Stash and doesn't have the staying power the original does but it's a nice effervescent-yet-deep fragrance. I just can't figure out when this fragrance works best. It's a little heavy for summer but perhaps too sweet for winter.

This fragrance is absolutely spectacular. The first time I tried it, it had a very odd sparkly tonka type feel to it and I absolutely loved it. The second time, after buying it, the sparkle was gone. I was initially disappointed, but I was so impressed by the balsamic and woody dry down. It holds nothing in common with the original Stash, but it doesn't really need to. It's in the same family, but there's no resemblaance. I think this is truly value for money at $30 for 100mL - you can't really do better than that. Listed in the notes is also wisteria - bizarre, uncommon in celebrity scents, but it is there and it does translate well.

This is a playful fragrance. It starts off with a mixture of coconut, a light musk, and a fruit note (quince)? The quince + pepper note are a little sharp but soften quickly. The vanilla and peony emerge soon and give the scent about 30 minutes of stability. After that, it’s gone. I wish it lasted longer and developed more slowly. **edit** I’ve been wearing this a lot since the temps rose some and it’s actually quite nice. It does stay close to skin but I do get whiffs of this several hours after application. I’ve also been having fun reapplying often.

Extremely pretty scent. Absolutely gorgeous. I would give this a 8/10 as one of the nicest smelling fragrances I own. Something about it just really appeals to me placing it solidly in the “love” category. Sadly, it doesn’t even last an hour on skin. I would pay much more for this if it could just last a few hours... :-( PS who else is reminded of Hilary Duff’s old fragrance “With Love”? Stash Unspoken is like a more complex and classy version. How unexpected for the low price!!!

This is a pretty underrated beauty. Soft, powdery sandalwood, slightly fruity from the quince, which almost comes off as coconut. There are also hints of pepper and musk as it dries down. It’s softly sweet without being overly sweet. Reminds me of Zara Msk 004. No it’s not hugely projecting but I can smell myself no problem (I gave myself some liberal sprays), and would not mind reapplying if needed. It also reminds me a tiny bit of VS Bare. This one is a nice surprise!

This was such a great surprise. It’s very creamy and nutty and a bit lactonic, like smelling a hazelnut frappe, but with a dash of florals. It’s unmistakably feminine but not overly floral, fruity or sweet, like so many other celebrity perfumes. The performance on me is amazing, too - great sillage and lasts forever, especially on clothes (I’ll still smell it on a jacket two weeks later). A love and great value.

This is a beautiful, woodsy, warm and slightly sweet fragrance. Unspoken is an office-friendly scent, but also could be worn on a date night. I have been wearing it non-stop since I bought it...it’s so versatile for everyday use. No, it doesn’t slap you in the face or leave a huge trail...for me, that’s a winner.

I agree with the comment below, it does smell like Bath and Body Works Pure Wonder! This is very pleasant and to my nose doesn't have any nasty scratchy aroma chemicals that are common in modern perfumes. Fruity, a bit woody, and sweet musky. Easy wear for every day. I love it. Absolutely unisex to me.

Call me crazy but this is so similar to black orchid / velvet orchid. Albeit it’s a lighter, somewhat more inoffensive version but it is there. I really love black orchid and this is a very office safe version. I really enjoy this it is a lovely wear, however does require a little overspray to last.

Really pretty sweet, beachy, baby powder scent. Elegant and feminine balletcore vibes. I don't find it similar to OG Stash, apart from that they both have a dry and powdery base. Unlike OG Stash, which I think begs to be shown off, I love to wear this to bed to feel fluffy and cocooned

I can’t wait to get my grubby hands on a bottle of this!! So far just smelled it on the paper strip and rubbed it all over my wrists, smells gorgeous, even my puppy likes it! Will give a more complete review after I buy a bottle. So far it’s looking (smelling) really good!!

Stash Unspoken is a lovely, sweet "orange nectar" floral which is warm but not juvenile. Very reminiscent of Boucheron Place Vendom with a suede/soft leather added for grounding and maturity. Lasts all day and works well at sweetening the OG Stash.

I just got my hands on a rollerball. Oh my gods. Sensuous Nude was my every day scent, and now that it is nowhere to be filled, this is close enough to it to fill that scent gap. Less woody, and sweeter, but still close enough. Big love.

I swear it smells exactly the same as Bath and Body Works' Pure Wonder. I don't think it's a coincidence that they have the same color palette and aesthetic with the packaging, too.

Creamy, sweet, and nutty. I have the rollerball and layer with the original Stash and it's just insanely good.

OKAY! I'm going to try and write a review that isn't 20 paragraphs long. Dream big, friends. SO - I thoroughly enjoy this fragrance! There is a mad coconut scent to this! MAD coconut. Am I the only one who gets that?! (Tell me I'm not the only one who gets that). I'm under the impression it's the combination of a tonka bean, sandalwood, and musk. It definitely has a soft, *wonderfully-creamy* musk. My first impression, I basically wrote this off as a basic coconut scent, but - honestly - the more I wear it, the more I like it. The creamy musk is what keeps pulling me back. A beautiful, well-balanced creamy musk is like catnip to me. I don't get a lot of pink pepper at the start, and the quince makes an appearance by adding sweetness. The florals are all favourites of mine! Oh Heck and Joy - honeysuckle, peony, and wisteria lighten this sweetness and creaminess so it never becomes cloying. Wonderfully feminine! This is a great fragrance for spring AND autumn. The florals are pretty and light that it bounces and reflects like spring (I don't know what that means, but it's how it is, okay?!) whilst that kinda low-key sexy, warm-and-creamy tonka bean and musk just creates a coziness that conjures up scarves and fallen leaves. It's not deep or syrupy enough to bring winter vibes. Look, I'll be honest here: I see no relation to the original "Stash". Don't even get me started on that piece of perfume mastery coz we'll be here all night and we've all got things to do. This is not like it at all. In any way, shape or form. Even though I love the BEJESUS out of "Stash", "Unspoken" is still SO NICE. I don't have a full bottle yet, but I could be tempted. But don't tempt me. I don't neeeeeeed it... and le wallet can't handle it. *** Kitty rating: 7/10. Hubby: 6.5/10 - "It smells like butterscotch." (OoOoOoOoOoOh, that's interesting!)

I do have Stash Unspoken since its release on SJP Beauty official website in the beginning of December 2017. What I can say about it after trying it for more than one month and using about 1/4 of my 100ml bottle is that it is nothing like the original Stash, unfortunately. Stash Unspoken is very sweet with a very large emphasis on the tonka bean, while the opening is heavy on the pink pepper. The heart is slightly floral and I would say ressembles a light honeyed lilac which adds to the general sweetness of the fragrance. It is long lasting and projects quiet a lot, you do get noticed and boys react very positively to it. It is quiet unisex while obviously way more feminine than the original Stash. By the way, to those familiar with the fragrance, Stash Unspoken reminds me a lot of Azzaro Duo for men with its overly strong syntetic and headache inducing tonka bean note. On a side note, the packaging suffered a huge drop in quality compared to the original Stash... The big bottles do not come in fabric pouches anymore and the inside of the box is made of plain cheap and badly cut white/light grey cardboard... Very disappointing compared to the high-quality and almost niche feeling of the original Stash. All in all, I’m not convinced by it but then again, maybe I should not have had my expectations so high as to comparing it to original Stash which is perfection to me.

I really enjoy this one! Stash was a bit too masculine for me so the hubby is enjoying that one! This still has a bit of a spicy vibe but once the vanilla comes through it makes it more feminine for me. The vanilla instantly reminded me of the vanilla in Angham for some reason. They don’t smell alike but for some reason, that’s what came to my mind. It is a very pretty floral vanilla with woody tones. Is it revolutionary? No, but it’s overall a really pretty fragrance that I think will be universally appealing. It’s an easy grab for work, running errands and casual nights out. I’d wear it in cooler weather personally, which is when I wear my vanillas. I don’t get too much pepper and Zero pencil shavings. I have both Sensuous and Sensuous nude. On my skin they aren’t similar at all, I just tested them side by side. I barely get any woody notes or vanilla from either one of those. My chemistry definitely pulls woody notes out more but on my skin, Stash unspoken is dominantly woody and vanilla notes. I’m sure it comes down to skin chemistry and hormones, but on me, this is beautiful. It’s super affordable, I just got my bottle for under,$20. It’s worth a shot. I enjoy it a lot!

I blind bought this for $10 today at T.J Maxx. I love the original Stash and thought why not. This is nothing like the original Stash at all but I knew that going in. Stash Unspoken isn't really a floral perfume either. It is a beachy coconut and musk perfume w/ slight citrus/fruity vibe. I like that it is super musky which tames down the coconut for me. I kind of sense florals in the background but they are cloaked in musk. This smells like a nice shampoo. This is something you can wear in the summer, very casual. It is a non perfume, perfume. For those situations where you want to smell like shampoo, fresh, casual and easy. Coconut floral fruity musk. Not much else to add. Edit same day..... I keep testing this and while it is nice for what it is, (it reminds me of Estee lauder's Bronze Goddess) I find I" just not a coconut person. My husband adores the note and I have other coconut perfumes in my collection that I wear for him (only in summer) I will probably give this to my little sister who is coconut crazy. She will love this. I will keep it on my shelf until I see her next time.

Just a quick observation as I only received this yesterday afternoon and I haven't had a chance to analyse it properly yet. I have dry skin which doesn't hold perfume well, for which reason I tend to wear unperfumed lotion on my arms etc, before applying scent. I didn't yesterday though, and sprayed Unspoken two or three times (i.e. about 4 times in total) on both lower arms about 12 hours ago, before going to bed. I can still smell Unspoken this morning. It's a skin scent, but still discernible - so I am not sure why people are assessing the longevity as poor. As others have already observed, this is nothing like the original Stash and it doesn't have its quirkiness; it is far more "common" as a scent package. But it is very pretty and I will wear it in spring. I bought 100ml from Superdrug in the UK for £25.00 (free p&p); it is not worth more than this (in my opinion). ETA I bought this blind on the basis that I have several other SJP scents and tend to like them; I think they are usually good value for money (as is this at the price I paid, anyway!).

I live in the USA and since while I like Stash I’m not a huge fan of darker smelling scents and really Tonka bean patchouli musky scents which is all Stash is, and I only own a tiny 1oz bottle, and we aren’t able to get our hands on Privé anywhere in the USA which is so aggravating I can’t even find it online! When she released Unspoken I was happy to get a large bottle and try it. Anything to variant from the god awful Stash dark roast coffe and musky leather shoe nightmare would be a welcomed breeze. Well this is still a warm scent. Not musk but replaced with pink pepper and florals. I enjoy it but so different than anything I’d ever wear. It’s like a hot musky floral. Only SJP would do that, and do that well. I mean look at Covet. That’s essentially grass and piss in a bottle and she made it aromatic and appealing. Somehow. I have gotten so many compliments with Unspoken it wears externally heavy on you. Close to you, you won’t smell it much you catch glimpses of it but everyone around you smells it and I have gotten tons of compliments.

In a fragrance group on Facebook I was just two days ago lamenting to my fellow addicts about being nearly out of Stash. One replied that Stash Unspoken really was Stash Light to her. Also, Stash is getting harder to find and thus more expensive. Lo and behold, last night I was Christmas shopping and found a set with shower gel and lotion and bought blindly. My impression is that Stash Unspoken has the Stash DNA for sure yet most of the spice has been removed and replaced with florals and more fruit, though I get NO coconut note. It's much more floral and less complex than Stash, yet still possesses a very strong wood note. That note is less like sandalwood and more like cedar to my nose which is lucky since cedar is a favorite. There is also a strong impression of Black Opium, yet I enjoy this more than that. I could see Stash Unspoken taking me through casual fall and winter days and into early spring. So, if you like woody scents, Stash, or fresh spicy fragrances, you should enjoy this.

Unspoken lacks the character of the original Stash, but it’s pleasant enough. I blind bought it to wear to work, I figured it’s a pretty safe bet. There is a coconut vibe happening when I first spray it which lingers for about half an hour. I’m not sure where it’s coming from but I like it. Then I get a cream floral with a hint of musk, I was hoping I would get more sandalwood coming through but oh well. It’s almost too sweet for me, I would say this is more of a daytime fragrance, for late summer and autumn. It’s perfectly adequate but for shits and giggles, I am going to try layering it on top of the original Stash, just to see what sort of beast it will morph into... EDIT- Layering Stash Unspoken on top of the original Stash totally woks on me! For the price point of both, it’s well worth giving it a try. The result is something richly feminine- it’s smells like it is more expensive than it actually is. Two thumbs up!

Bought a bottle of this blind while on holiday in Australia, because I'd never seen it anywhere in North America. $40 for 100ml was quite a good deal and I do like it. Fruity florals are not always my thing, but the quince note feels more unique than the standard pear/blackcurrant/berries option we see a lot and the woody musky base is really cozy and comforting. The sandalwood has a creamy, almost lactonic feel to it and the musk is soft and clean. It's pretty without feeling overdone. Stash Unspoken has a "white T-shirt" kind of vibe. Easy to wear, perfect for everyday, would work in an office environment as well. Is it as unique and standout as the OG Stash? Not in my opinion. But it's a very pretty, easy grab-and-go perfume and I'll be happy using up my bottle. Side note: it reminds me quite a bit of Pas Ce Soir by BDK. Must be the quince, pepper and white floral combination.

Stash Unspoken is basically Victoria’s Secret Tease (old version) without cheap plastic smell. But this one is more floral, lactonic, and musky, minus vanilla, added tiare flower (not coconut!). And then you’ll think oh it’s so approachable until you inhale, and your olfactory trips on something ‘skin-like’ aka dirty musk. It’s super likeable in the forefront BUT also is flirty, soft, intimate, and a little skanky at the same time. It’s a gem, a bit of an acquired taste — so glad I was in the mood of trying a blind buy cheapie at TK Maxx today which rarely occurred. I get a very faint quince that adds some ‘more’ uniqueness but doesn’t make it citrusy. I’m super happy with this discovery. Oh dear, SJP is the goat. FYI If you ask me, this one and og Stash aren’t even distant relatives.

This would be more of a second cousin to the original Stash rather than a genetic flanker. To me little compares to the one and only original Stash, so while I can appreciate this, it's definitely a fragrance that stands on it's own rather than a pure derivative. To me, this is a good alternative for warmer weather if you feel like the original Stash doesn't play with your climate. The original Stash to me is cold autumn, winter, warming layers, spice and wood; Unspoken is the lighter and airier cousin. It reminds me a lot of Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess which is definitely a summer scent. The one thing I will say is that the body lotion is amazing. Long lasting, highly creamy with amazing scent projection. If you can find the gift set at TJ Maxx, get it.

I bought this because it was inexpensive and it came recommended by my favorite YouTube perfume commentator, Wendi, of Wendi's Parade of Perfumes. I'm not disappointed, and I do think it smells quite a bit like Estee Lauder Sensuous (both the OG and the Nude), which is a compliment in my book. But I'm not getting quite as much of the woody aspect as I get with Sensuous--it's more the honeyed florals that seems like the common link rather than the synthetic sandalwood. Something about this is very distinctive, though, and I think it might be the combination of frankincense with quince. I sense that true Stash heads will find this flanker a bit generic and department-storish, but it's probably easier to wear than the OG (which I haven't smelled yet).

stash (copper coloured box) summer test two sprays outer mid forearm i get the three mid accords first and for the next few hours; floral, sweet, white floral, maybe some woods in the background. in the end im getting perhaps a leather ish accord... my initial thoughts were: sweet, warm, rih, heart: to warm rich leather or anise?? complete dry down: lovely dusky slightly sweet with new leather sih background. personally i dont need another sweet floral scent - the dry down is where its at for me - ill have to cull some of my warm/sweet scents if i want this added to my collection. longevity = excellent 7th hour still there sillage = youll notice it in your personal bubble and so will others bloody well done SJP

This does smell very much like Burberry Brit EDP, and is somewhat reminiscent of Mon Guerlain EDP as well (herbal/fruity top, floral middle, tonka base). If Brit is a cocktail, Stash Unspoken is that same cocktail with whipped cream on top. On paper all they have in common is a peony middle note and tonka base, but that is enough to make them very similar to my nose. I won't complain, they're both cheap and cheerful and work safe (fairly low projection). If the citrus-forwardness of Brit and Mon Guerlain puts you off, try this. Still fruity, but more of a creamy tropical fruit than punchy citrus.

While there is some DNA from the original, it’s a mostly unique thing that stands on its own for good or for worse. I loved the original and was floored by its originality and daring nature in a sea of clones. Unspoken isn’t that. Unspoken is in many ways another clone of clones. I’m not sure if my nose can pick up everything here but for me it’s just a sweet cloudy bomb of creamy musk. There is soooooommmmeeeeee hint of wood deeply buried here, which was what I adored in the original. But regardless of my complaints, Unspoken does what so few celeb frags do, it smells nice. 6.5/10

Picked this up today at TjMaxx for $26.99 (gift set, 50ml Edp, 200ml shower gel, 200ml body cream) they also had another gift set (100ml body cream, 30ml Edp, 10ml rollerball) for $16.99 This smells very girly, feminine, youthful, light & sweet but warm. It’s very subtle & soft. I would say this is more of a skin scent, doesn’t project much but you notice it’s there. It smells a lot like Victorias Secret Velvet Petals & Warm & Cozy. I have both those body mists. I get honeysuckle & tonka bean which I absolutely love. It’s nice but nothing unique or special.

I get an opening flash of pepper, then this quickly dries down to something that to my nose seems to be a mix of Sandalwood, musk and something generically floral. It is rather pleasant and would be good for daily work wear if it didn't disappear so bleedin' quickly. The longevity is what disappoints me most, as I quite like it otherwise. **Update** After being left unused for several weeks it now seems to last longer, either something has matured, or I had a cold or something unknowingly that was affecting my sense of smell!

How does this not have coconut? I don't like this in high heat; it's too buttery at first and then becomes oddly flat and dusty (on skin) into the drydown. Prefer this in colder weather--you still get coconut, but the pepper + quince are less abrasive, more sparkly. No comparison to Jazz Club for me. Thought of Bronze Goddess, but only because I prefer that one for a coconut woody summer fragrance. My Like vote is for what I smelled in colder weather. It is a dislike for heat.

I own both Stash Unspoken and the original Stash. I really like Stash Unspoken, but it's very different from the original. The only notes they have in common are frankincense and musk and they are both balsamic with a little spiciness. Stash Unspoken is very sweet and floral with the quince, wisteria, and honeysuckle notes. The original Stash is perfect for fall and winter and Stash Unspoken will be nice this spring and summer. Very happy to have both in my collection!

I’ve only just blind bought this (it’s SJP I had to), so I’m only just spraying it for the first time. On first impressions, it’s very light, slightly floral and mildly balsamic. I like it. It’s nice but I can’t yet comment on longevity or dry down. I do agree that if you weren’t into Stash cos you found it too spicy (I adore Stash!), that this would be a more toned down, lighter version. Where Stash is the smoky eyeliner, unspoken is a nude matt lip.

I love the bright, fruity, peppery pop of the opening. Quince adds a depth and polarity that bergamot doesn’t, it’s quite distinct - a citrusy plum to my nose. It settles into a creamy peony (other reviewers are also saying coconut, not listed in the notes, and I see that), and dries down to a powdery tonka. It lasts around 3-4 hours on your skin. It’s not your typical celebrity scent!

I have delayed in a review as I can not decide if is a cool or warm weather scent, so I will go with Autumn. It's very cosy and warm, I don't get a lot of coconut, but it's beautifully heavy on the Tonka and the musk is dreamy and smooth. It's a unique wearable daytime scent that leans slightly masculine in a good way. I think it's great value and lasts quite well.

Woody, creamy, with a token floral that smells like jasmine to my nose and I get quite a lot of coconut in the opening, reminds me of a concentrated version of Pure Crush! It has a creamy sweet woody drydown heavy on the Coumarin....also additional Ambroxan? Very basic and likeable non offensive fragrance.

A little more wearable for me than Stash. I get a somewhat nostalgic note if that makes sense. I think I like quince in perfume. Not that peppery compared to some. I am a fan of priwnt and peony and fruit can be nice if a bit blah, the background notes keep it from being too generic.

SJP has redeemed herself after the original Stash which in my opinion is just gross. I have no idea what she was thinking other than that I can appreciate it’s uniqueness. This smells a big like Brit I agree. It’s a peppery floral and I enjoy wearing it.
