Stash SJP

Where has this been? Where have I been? I tried Lovely when it first came out and, honestly, it bored me. More recently, I tried Covet (because the notes sounded up my alley) and it really did not work for me. I figured SJP and I were just not on the same wavelength. But I recently decided to give Stash a try - maybe it was the article about the jogger in Australia who was chased by the deranged kangaroo when she was wearing it. Or because I'm on a pistachio kick. Anyway, I ordered Stash as well as a full bottle of another fragrance everyone seems to be raving about. Both came yesterday. I started with the popular one and was not at all happy. Fortunately, it didn't last long. Since I was still a bit shaken from my earlier misfortune with the popular one, I just tried one small spray. Say what??? I didn't want to overreact. Maybe it was just that I was finally happy to have the overly musky soapiness from earlier out of my nose. Sort of like how you start going out with someone who is sort of ok because the last one was awful. Then you end up married to just ok and realize you rushed into it when you should have just taken a bath and read a good book instead. No? Just me? Anyway... I tried another few more zealous sprays of Stash. Even more glorious. It's dry, woody, boozy - but not sweet. That's a delicate dance to get right. (A few years back, I initially loved Angel's Share - but it quickly became cloying for me because it's just too sweet. Don't get me wrong, I love sweet, but not cloying...). What I find so amazing about Stash is that the boozy is there, but the woody/nutty elements, combined with the dryness, keep it from being cloying. I don't know that I can identify the pistachio as such, but I'm definitely identifying nutty. And cedar. Someone further back mentioned oud. I'm not getting oud - which is good because I am not a fan of oud. This smells like the sweaters I used to keep in my cedar hope chest - with the faintest bit of Love's Baby Soft still clinging to the cuffs. The patchouli and musk, I guess? That takes me back to a very specific time and place in my life and I just am in love with this scent! Longevity was about 4 hours for me, I guess. Projected broadly for about an hour before becoming more of a skin scent - but that might be hard to tell because I kept shoving my wrist in my daughters' faces and saying, "Smell me! Isn't this amazing???" However, I will also say that when I went out to get the mail, the guy who was cleaning out the gutters said, "Man, you smell great!" That was after about 3 hours and he was about 7 feet away. And it was completely unprompted - I hadn't even climbed up the ladder at that point. This is going to be great in the fall. If I had a man, I would make him wear this. But it doesn't really matter because it's great on a woman too, so I'm fine wearing it for myself. Now I'm off to buy another bottle, the roller bottle, and the hair oil.

So, Im one of those annoying "Maceration Whores". I just find it so interesting how much fragrances change when a bit of air is introduced into the bottle and how with a bit of patience, the performance changes (sometimes drastically) or both, the actual scent and performance change. And it's NOT just the "Middle Eastern fragrances either. The most drastic changes have surprisingly been with some designer and Niche frags.. I bring this up bc SJP Stash has certainly improved over the last 2 months I've had my (adorable) little 1oz bottle. So, before, when I'd first recieved it, I'd sprayed a good amount on and although it had decent/moderate longevity (about 4-5 hours), it just seemed to have quite weak projection. Fast'forward 2 months later, I did like 3 spritzes on my forearm just to test it out during my work shift and I just kept getting wafts of it throughout my entire shift and even after I got home from work! And that was OVER the usual 5 or 6 spritzes of my scent of the week Encre Noire which I love. Anyhow, I have nothing else that smells quite Like SJP Stash in my 100+ bottle collection and this really does smell quite "Niche". The gorgeous, subdued black pepper is amazing here and the other spices and Cedar are excellent aswell, but the Musk, that MUSK is freakin' INTOXICATING! It's not an animalic Musk, but it is very present and I think that it's what gives SJP Stash it's tenacity/longevity and unmistakable Sex-appeal. Stash is NOT a "sssmack ya in the face" type of scent. It seems somewhat soft, but it still manages to be quite present as you catch clear whiffs of it throughout your day which is an awesome effect for what I would consider a "Woody/Musk" fragrance.. SSSUPER SEXY! Now again, that type of performance came with a bit of time, patience and some maceration. I did a side by side comparison of my 2 month old 1oz to a brand new 4oz back-up bottle which I purchased after i noticed the performance improvements. The differences were NOT immediately apparent, what maceration did was give Stash some "Back Bone" and more nuance in the far dry-down along with a bit better projection and far better "staying power". Anyhow, this may just be one of my top 3 wood or musk forward fragrances and may end up being my all time FAVE Musk/wood scent. I have to give this thing an 8.5 outta 10. I very much highly recommend it! Oh and leans just a tad-bit on the Masculine side to my nose, but this has got to be ULTRA SEDUCTIVE, intriguing and alluring on a woman for sure! I was fortunate enough to have my package arrived..to have my Stash box soaking wet and the bottle almost empty. I could smell this before I took it out of the delivery box and right away I knew I was going to love it. I could smell the top notes of the spicy black pepper and the grapefruit, masterfully blended with the heart of the fragrance...the cedar. HOWEVER...when I sprayed the almost empty bottle of Stash onto my wrists, the spiciness disappeared (which I loved) and it went straight into the middle notes, or rather the middle note of atlas cedar. Which is a bummer, because I read the reviews beforehand stating that they get a nutty (pistachio), forest-y vibe from this due to the complex notes. My nose didnt get that at all-- this fragrance is pretty linear, and the star here is definitely the atlas cedar. BUT....the dry down becomes a creamy, woody, musky skin scent to die for. It's intimate, and it my favorite part of Stash. I get memories of my childhood, and the wooden shelves of books line up from top to bottom, I'm sitting on a big abc carpet, the school yard doors are open and I can smell the wind carrying trees & the pine underneath my nose. My cool female teachers are playing Sarah Mclachlan. I can feel myself remembering wishing that the Berenstain Bears were real so I could live inside of a giant tree like they did. I know this was made not to long ago, but definitely gives me a 90's vibe.... So I'm assuming the symphony of beautiful notes I experienced came together so well is because there was SO MUCH of it leaking out of my bottle onto my soaking box, I mean really. My bottle wasn't even 1/3rd full! Anyway, I'm disappointed that it's not as complex smelling unless I get another faulty bottle. And this might because the fragrance is a about 8 years old, so the top notes my have been overcome by the base and middle notes. BUT I cannot deny it's a beautiful fragrance, this is closer to niche fragrance for sure. I can see a male or female acoustic guitarist rocking this. It has such a tranquil vibe, not sharp or headache inducing to me at all. I'm going to buy the oil and see if any of the notes stand out differently from the perfume. I find myself wanting buy back up bottles for nostalgic purposes. BTW the lasting power is great...8 hours! Its autumn 🍁 time, the best time to experience this (in my opinion). While doing errands, Stash came around to remind me that I still had her on. 10/10 from me!🌟

Ooh I really like this. It's a very cosy, woody, creamy/milky, aromatic unisex scent. I'm female and I don't find it too masculine for me. I don't get much of the grapefruit, but I get a strong aromatic opening which I think is predominantly the sage, and I do find it almost an edible type of scent. The rich woods are really smooth, creamy and cosy. It suits cold autumnal and winter weather best, and on me personally it has fantastic longevity, 8+ hours and a moderate sillage. I was wearing it yesterday and all of a sudden it brought back a scent memory for the first time, despite having owned it for a year or so and worn it many times. I'm lucky enough to have spent several holidays in the French Alps skiing at a few different resorts, and it brought back strong memories of those times I spent away. I am reminded of being in a chalet or restaurant with dark wooden panelling everywhere, creaky wooden floors, cosy rugs, lots of rustic chunky wooden furniture and benches around, delicious french food like raclette, fondue and tartiflette, lots of deep and dark colours everywhere like deep red and deep green, red checkered tablecloths, an open fire roaring away making the room toasty and warm, and the dry heat and smell of sauna close by. I've never had such a strong scent memory outside of remembering an actual perfume itself! I initially bought the rollerball but my bottle had cracked at the top from where the rollerball was pushed in I assume and it leaked everywhere, arriving only half full. I used it up and couldn't stop thinking about it - it's lovely and I've now got two 100ml bottles that I got for £12.99 each so a fantastic price. I think it's now discontinued which is such a shame if so because it's a beautiful cosy fragrance. @qoesie - I've just read your review, I found it the same, it's just like a dry woody sauna isn't it! :)

Expected a little more sweet and femme, less earthy. Given the notes, having read Burr’s The Perfect Scent, and SJP’s reference involving euro-rail body odor (lol), I had no reason to expect sweet and femme. Stash is definitely not Lovely II. It's 99.9% girlie-free yet feminine in the same way to me as YSL's original Opium is feminine. Packaging is very well done, heavy glass, a cap that snaps snugly over the nozzle, lovely label. When I walked to the display at Ulta, the fragrance was so potent, it practically created its own force field warding off competing scents. Giant heaps o’ frankincense (olibanum), black pepper, sage and vetiver hovered in the air. I was all, Hot. Damn. Bring it. Bought the edp and elixir oil. The edp lasts many hours on my skin. Longevity is killer. The elixir is fabulous, can be used in the bath, on hair and skin, is non-greasy and true to scent. Stash is so unique and well made. Quality materials blended with an intelligence that doesn't seem to make it to mass-market anymore. Compared with its shelf mates at Ulta, Stash is a weird one, way left of center. Thank God. Niche for the masses. Hopefully, it will be so different and multipurpose in its unisex qualities that it will sell like hot cakes. Would break my heart for something this good to be discontinued. Take negative reviews as fair warning: Do not blind buy, especially if light, floral, fruity scents are your jam. After wearing it for a few days, I have found it addicting. Layer it as a base with Narciso Rodriguez for Her musc oil or SJP's first, Lovely... it is divine. Stash is my first remorse-free retail fragrance purchase in years. Thank you Sarah Jessica. xoxo

Just some friendly advice, if you enjoy SJP Stash and wish it projected more and lasted longer (Although I think its already long-lasting) get the SJP Stash-Body Oil! A little goes a long way and it is quite potent and long lasting. Just a small drop on my neck last a long time (6 to 7 hours on skin if not more) and if you layer it spraying the Eau de Parfum over the oil, the projection is amazing and even longer lasting! The oil soaks into my skin nicely and doesn't leave me feeling all greasy, and again what I REALLY like about the oil is just a drop is quite strong, maybe even projecting more than the edp does and together with a few spritzes of the Eau de Parfum is really all ya need for a full day wear. So yeah, I HIGHLY recommend SJP Stash-Body Oil. Its AWESOME! Again tho, its NOT a dig on SJP Stash's edp bc on its own its got impressive performance, its just got more of a soft semi-personal scent trail and the oil simply intensifies the over all experience! If there's ONLY ONE gripe or complaint that I have about SJP Stash is that it is EXTREMELY easy to go nose-blind to. I know this bc if I do just 2 spritzes on my arm away from my face and no where else, Ill continually get delicate wafts of it throughout the entire day, whereas if I spray some on my neck and shirt (3 on my neck and 2 to 4.on my shirt) I wont be able to smell it AT ALL like 30 mins after I apply it. Still though, it is TOTALLY worth the pick up! I freakin' LOVE SJP Stash! "Niche quality" FOR SURE!

Y’all. I was so excited to try this from the minute I read the description. That’s what I love most about this site. For those of us who love collecting fragrance as a hobby, we may not know of every single new thing when it gets released. This flew under the radar for me. I think that’s my blind spot; I tend to overlook “celebrity” fragrances. It’s only this past year that I’ve given them a go: Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, and now, SJP. When I tell you I’m in love...I’m in love!! This reminds me so much of Athalia by Perfums de Marly after the initial dry-down. This scent is magic. The first spray is very spicy, and I actually thought it was strong cinnamon notes. But upon looking at the perfume pyramid, it says it’s black pepper. And while I love the dry-down, oh how I wish that spicy note lingered longer than it did. Almost like Christmas morning. The spicy element fades very quickly and settles into what I can only describe as pure resinous cedar. Did anyone else’s grandparents have a cedar chest at the foot of their bed that they stored handmade quilts in? My grandmother did. I remember sitting near it, smelling the soft aroma that would stay behind on the blankets. AH! There are elements in this that to both our masculine and feminine sides, and it’s one of the true unisex fragrances out there. Back before I had an accident that left me partially disabled, and I could still make money, I wore Athalia. This reminds me so much of it without the $400+ price tag!!

Great job! I could actually see Sarah wearing this scent. It is quite a distinct fragrance not only for a celebrity but even on its own. The idea for the bottle is interesting, too. The opening may be a little scary, being intensely herbal and citrusy. Certainly masculine leaning. It should have been marketed as unisex. More guys need to give it a chance. It opens with a crisp, green accord, along with a strong woody one. The pepper note can be felt as well. Despite this bold combination, the end result is an interesting, charming and aromatic scent. To me, this means these notes are of high quality and very well blended. Once it dries down in about 30 minutes, "Stash" still has a masculine edge but leans more unisex as the scent loses some of the hefty, sharp notes of the opening. The drydown is dominated by sage and patchouli. I can almost smell a floral accord, too. "Stash" is absolutely not a blind buy. It may take some time to be understood but it certainly is charming in its own way just like Sarah. She should be proud of having her name attached to this fabulous perfume. It warms me up in colder weather and lasts quite long - I could still smell it on my shirt where my collar had been touching my neck a couple days later. Whenever it is available, the price is excellent for such great quality. I hope this will always be produced. Guys, give this a chance. Nothing about this is traditionally feminine, not even the bottle.

Oh my OG babygirl Stash. I was first captivated by her around her release when I was 23. I knew I was a little young for it then but couldn’t get enough. It’s earthy and sexy and aggressive and seemed leagues above all the other mainstream scents at Ulta. I eventually bought a 10ml roller and ended up taking some risks in life and falling in love around that time so now it’s a must-have forever in my wardrobe reminding me of independence, growth, passion, etc. (the guy is now my husband and we both have such a sweet spot for this scent) Slightly harsh grapefruit opening then dries down to a unique resiny woodsy scent. Perfectly unisex. Crunchy leaves and grandpa’s old leather chair vibes (ash tray included) and maybe grandad burned incenses and loved licorice. I think it can work in warmer weather though most agree it’s a fall/winter frag. I like it on dry warm nights too because it shines in the heat like a summer bonfire. Mixes with sweaty dancing very well. I’m not always in the mood for Stash but when it does strike, nothing compares. Tom Ford’s Santal Blush is def of the same universe but I actually prefer the brashness of SJP’s. Santal Blush is like the prim and proper version. Yes, perhaps the more “expensive” smelling but thereby too refined for this type of fragrance for me. I’d rather let it be a little dirty & jumbled! Just like an undisturbed forest. SJP got it on this one & I get compliments all the time 🖤

STOP. EVERYTHING. WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?! I don't know what rock I've been hiding under, but somehow I'd missed this one until now. Holy sh*t, this is LITERALLY the best unisex fragrance I have ever come across! This smells NICHE! This has the amazing, unique, and complex blend that elevates this way beyond any celebrity perfume, and knocks plenty of designer perfumes out of the park! That lemon, black pepper, and sage is one of the most intoxicating and sexist things I have ever smelt in my life (spouse aside). The wood notes? Well, they're everywhere and they're animalistic. It's heady and - contrarily - smooth and rough at the same time. Longevity and sillage are in BEAST mode! My husband can detect this quickly, and I can smell this HOURS later. That bottle is perfect. The gorgeous, heavy glass feels expensive and great to hold. The black labeling with the honeyed gold-brown juice is mysterious and sexy. I'm not even a unisex scent lover, people! I LOVE my feminine perfumes, and can certainly appreciate some male colognes, but unisex? I casually walk on by. I know 'CK1' is the staple for all unisex scents to be compared to, but 'Stash' is fast climbing the ladder for "Ultimate Unisex Masterpiece". #ComeAndFindIt *** Kitty rating: 10/10!

I’m always a late arrival to every fragrance release it seems, but I happened to catch one of my fave fragrance gals on YouTube talk about Stash late 2025. Stash sounded so right up my alley that I blind bought it online that very evening. What I discovered was a glorious blend of elegant, powdery woods, sharp pepper, and tart grapefruit, gorgeous resins with patchouli and vetiver. I couldn’t believe how delightful it was. It was like a Marigold ghost in the opening the way the notes collided together. A flicker of green bitterness at the start, before cedar wood and beautiful Massoia wood (how fab is that I ask you?) and resins settled in so very smoothly. It’s totally m/f. I feel totally at ease wearing it and I tend to be on the feminine side. But this herbal, resin, woody beauty is like a walk in nature. Fresh, clean and beautifully natural in its composition. Who couldn’t feel comfy in that setting? I prefer it as a cozy night time relaxing, reflecting scent. I absolutely love it. I can’t think of any scene, season or activity that it would not be appropriate to wear. Its sillage is perfect, and lasts a decent amount of time and wafts about in soft trails of tranquility and serenity.

How could I express so many feelings and thoughts into a simple and clear perfume review? Let’s try. First of all, I know Sarah Jessica Parker has an impeccable taste in fragrances. I love Lovely but I gifted it to my sister who truly adores it. But Stash intrigued me just for it’s name. So alluring! Then the reviews called my attention and I ended up purchasing a 100 ml bottle. Ladies and gentlemen, this is pure and absolute autumn in a bottle. It makes me think of a cold evening at a wooden cottage, next to the fireplace enjoying a glass of rum or brandy with a bowl of pistachios and toasted pecans. I can’t identify individual notes, everythig is perfectly blended into a perfume that I could call a niche fragrance. Stash is sweet and dry, nutty during the first 5 minutes and then woody the rest of it’s amazing development. Very sensual in deed. I don’t detect any body smell or dirtyness but this is very sexy. A subtle background of cigar’s box during the middle notes add something even more special to this masterpiece. With that said I must declare that while my sister loves Lovely, I worship Stash! Sarah Jessica, you are magnificent!

Stash by SJP is unapologetically sexy. There’s no other way to say it. The moment I wear it, I feel sexy. Confident. A little dangerous. The ad campaign captured that perfectly too. Sarah Jessica Parker absolutely understood the assignment. I currently own four SJP fragrances, with Stash and Lovely, holding spots in my top favorites. To my nose, Stash is a buttery, leathery smoothness wrapped in soft incense and warm amber. It’s rich without being heavy, mysterious without trying too hard. This is not a fragrance for the average human. It has character. It has attitude. It’s similar to Tim McGraw Southern Blend fragrance. I’ve worn Stash year-round, and I hate to admit it, but it’s slowly becoming my favorite scent in my entire collection. It pulls compliments constantly, the kind where people lean in closer and ask what you’re wearing. I’m genuinely heartbroken that it’s officially discontinued, but it’s still floating around on certain sites. Do yourself a favor and grab it now, before prices go feral. This one deserves to be worn.

This fragrance took up permanent residency in my unwitting brain the moment I smelled it. I could not decide how or if I liked it for the life of me. My apartment smelled like Stash for weeks as I spritzed a little here and there, hemmed and hawed about it, and come to no conclusive thoughts whatsoever. Stash is intensely astringent and woody with only a small relief of softness flittering through with the pistachio and Massoia. It smells like a mortar filled with the ground offerings for a nameless, ancient earth god. I feel as though I could strike up communion with some solemn forest wraith when I wear it. If I was trapped in a sentient, vengeful wood, I think Stash could conceal my human scent from the reaching limbs and roots of murderous tree spirits. It took me eight months to realize that Stash has been lurking in my olfactive memory waiting for me to realize just how f****** good it is. What a shame that it was discontinued. (ETA: For those wondering why it was discontinued, IFRA banned Massoia wood in 2018.)

I'll start off by saying that I absolutely love SJP, however this is the only one of her fragrances that resonates with me. I love this so much. As many others have said, this gives a niche quality and I can totally imagine if you decanted this into a £200 bottle you'd never know the difference. It's powdery, musky, spicy, and ever so woody. Woody woody woody. Like the inside of a vintage armoire woody! Olibanum is one of my favourite notes and in this it is used to beautiful effect. To me it's a fresh and modern spin on a churchy-resinous-incensey fragrance. Maybe if the nightclub is your church, you worship at the altar of art and fashion, and a dark n' stormy is your holy water, this might resonate with you, too. I don't know why because the notes are completely different, but this kind of makes me think of Glossier You. Maybe it's the dry powderiness or the way it melts into the skin. A Glossier You for cool, weird people who don't follow the crowd. I'm now on the lookout for the Stash Elixir Oil!

I love it, though I understand if the sage will pull people in different directions depending on their exposure to it in other ways. This is dark yet surprisingly fresh. That being said, the very first time i gave this a full wear, the word “naughty” came to mind. There’s something skanky about this but not in an animalic way. I feel like the Pistachio, patchouli, and musk play in a way that give it a sort of sexiness about it. Great for date nights and also fun casual dinners. Completely unisex and very not-basic. Being perfectly honest, for a cheapie ($29) this one punches well above it’s weight and is one of the best fragrances I own in that category and stands up against modern perfumes in the $80-$150 range. As a woody fragrance psycho, this smells nothing like anything else in my collection and I love that. Side note, I think this is what I wanted Luci Ed Ombre by Masque Milano to smell like. “Light and Dark” is a perfect concept for this.

This is nothing short of a little gem. It is a very well-balanced woody aromatic, with a little hint of sweetness. It feels green when first applied and to me pulls slightly similar to the opening of Debaser or Philosykos - on my skin, I'm not calling it a dupe - which I find really pleasing. When it settles, I can smell grapefruit and patchouli with breathtakingly beautiful woody undertones. It's gorgeous, and I find it hard to believe it isn't niche. I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I do because I felt a little disappointed with Lovely, but damn, it's fantastic. On a man, this must be truly heart-stopping. Performs really well too. Silage and longevity are both moderate to strong. The bottle comes in a pouch, which I like as it protects it from sunlight. The atomiser sprays really well too. If you like woody aromatics and you don't already have this in your collection, what's stopping you? It's a steal. Dear men, please buy this.

The bottle is very sturdy and well made. It comes across very chic and sleek. Upon first spray it is strong and masculine. But it still smells wonderful nonetheless. The olibanum is intense and deep. The smell of warm woods must be the massoia wood. I got the base notes from the very beginning that were brightened with grapefruit. This is not your typical women's perfume. It is brave, daring, and for a confident female or male. A man can easily wear this and smell divine. The drydown smells to me of leather (even if its not a listed note), pepper, and exotic spices. There is just enough floral during the entire duration to keep it fresh and smooth. I have not smelled another perfume or cologne like this. It is unique and has a niche vibe. The longevity is fantastic. Sillage becomes slight more than skinscent as it drys down. Brilliant and beautiful creation Miss Parker has made!

divine, very masculine on me, yet oddly enough i can also see this being very enticing on a woman (another review quite saliently said it belongs in a sexy witch's apothecary bag), it's a very intimate scent (not in terms of sillage, moreso in it's warmth and inviting undercurrent) reminiscent of dark green forestry and resinous incense smoke. it sits somewhere between cdg's wonderwood and m&s' woodspice, but has a very niche, unapologetic vibe. very classy, yet very alluring and slightly rough. it's less dated, but more refined than it's classmates. spraying this in my flat, it hangs around in the air like cigarette smoke, undeterred by any and all comings and goings around it. phenomenal presentation and value for money (£23 for 100mls, are you kidding?). best worn with a crisp shirt (preferably one with collar stays) and jeans, and that goes for any and all genders. 10/10.

Goodness this is beautiful! It’s tough to describe as it seems so well blended. It is definitely very unisex and not leaning feminine... I can enjoy an almost masculine leaning fragrance but not everyone does. I love patchouli and I want to smell it in a fragrance, I do pick it up in this and definitely get the musk and woody notes, but it is all soft, well blended and with some sweetness. This is an evening, fall and winter fragrance for sure. I can’t speak to longevity as I am writing this on first impression, I love it so much I had to write about it. I don’t believe I have anything like this either, a great addition to my collection. Most celebrity fragrances disappoint, but SJP obviously does a great job. Her fragrance “Lovely” is also truly lovely. Stash could be sold as a niche fragrance for $300, even the bottle looks niche. What an amazing buy!!

Weirdly enough I can wear Stash on my wrists just fine, with no pickle smell whatsoever, but if I spray it on my chest it's prominent dill pickles from my skin. Accidentally discovered though that layering another fragrance on my chest on top of Stash, usually reverts it back to smelling fantastic while also amping up its best notes, and this somehow increases the wear time too. I've been layering with Superman by Al Rehab recently, which adds a clean clove spice to Stash that really brings out the pistachio and milky woods. Ameer Al Oud Intense by Lattafa is another really nice scent to layer with Stash too. These layering combos get me around around 8 hours of subtle arms length projection, whereas Stash alone only gets me about 3 to 5 hours of intimate projection.

I CANT believe this is a celebrity fragrance. Absolute top tier and I would definitely say it’s in the higher niche category of sandalwood fragrances. This is sweet, sticky, smokey, boozy. In the opening it’s very boozy and woody but then it turns into a warm and cozy scent. Absolute unisex but it might lean more masculine, which I don’t mind personally. This projects like crazy but it’s not a mass pleasing perfume, which is good because we don’t want it selling out. If you want to smell rich then you should definitely try this. Also gentlemen!!! If you want your wife to be all over you: use this perfume! I’m not much of a perfume layering person but I tried layering this with Z&V this is her (original formulation) and it smells divine!

Celebrated for good reason. The undisputed king - or queen - of celebrity perfumes. Decidedly unisex. Although perhaps veering traditionally masculine in its spicy, woody notes, likewise boldly feminine in its nutty sweetness and creamier dry down. A niche-level formulation. Decent longevity and sillage. Expertly blended under Parker's genuine direction. Cold weather-leaning, but a personal year-rounder in both the little kick of citrus from the grapefruit note and general all-round appeal. A crowd-pleasing fragrance, but still individual enough to make you stand out in its unlikely origins. Although sadly discontinued, thankfully still found online at bargain prices for such unique quality. SJP's magnum opus.

SJP-Stash EDP and oil Elixir I left a review on just the fragrance but someone suggested that I try the oil with it. Stash EDP alone is one of the most distinctive woody ambers in celebrity perfumery. The spray highlights its dry woods, soft resin, and quiet incense, but the oil elixir deepens the experience, bringing the creamy Massoia forward even more beautifully. In oil form the woods become smoother and more velvety, almost glowing on the skin. Worn together, the spray gives lift while the oil adds warmth and depth—resulting in a wonderfully creamy, resinous wood scent that feels both comforting and quietly luxurious. Absolutely love the oil.

Looking forward to wearing this a lot more during the winter. Super duper cozy. Reminds me of spending winter holidays with my family at our cabin. The sweet smell of Christmas cookies softly lingers in the air as you’re all sitting down to play board games in the evening. In Scandinavia usually cabins have that classic untreated wood interior. And this smells exactly like a freshly cleaned Scandinavian cabin haha. In the best way of course. I imagine the sweet smoothness of the fragrance comes from the pistachio note. But I think I’m associating it with Christmas cookies as its so beautifully blended with the pepper. Super well done! 10/10

Oh man, I very much HIGHLY recommend the SJP.Stash Hair & Body Oil! If you use just a drop or two, rub it inro your neck/arms and then spritz a little bit of the fragrance over that, your smelling Sexy AF all the live-long day! Plus it really intensifies the fragrance like ×2! SJP Stash edp is fantastic on its own, but if you want a longer lasting, more "Intense experience" grab that Oil! Oh and IMO, while the Body Oil smells the same as the edp, it does smell just a tiny bit more woody (a plus in my book.) , but its honestly NOT a super noticable difference really. A little goes a very long way and is so worth the pick-up!😉

This stuff is great...I watched an interview with SJP on its creation and she knows the fragrance world...I was impressed. Anyway, it's prob not for everyone, but damn this stuff is rich, sexy, woody with awesome sandlewood patchouli thing going on... and I've had nothing but compliments from others. Maybe not a blind buy...but I did and I love it. Edit: Its is somewhat linear...so make sure you like the initial scent as it will last a long time on skin and forever on clothes. Those saying it does not last...jeebus...nose blind folks, it's a thing...those that say otherwise have no idea what they are talking about.

Just got this today because I was looking for something similar to Tom Ford Santal Blush (the greatest thing i've ever smelled in my life) and with the first spray I was disappointed, I didn't really smell much and thought it smelled outdated and cheap. I waited 10 minutes and I must say, it's excellent, like others have said it smells wealthy and yes, very similar to Santa Blush. I believe this is technically discontinued but I found it from a seller on eBay and bought 2 bottles. Id recommend grabbing this if you see it, I got 100ml for £22 so even if you dont like it it's not much of a loss.

I received a deluxe sample of this ten years ago. I hated it but I knew it was special. I held on to it all these years and eventually gave it to my fiance. Well now I have a bottle on the way from Ebay for me. Something switched in my brain and I can’t get enough of this now. It reminds me of the way my mom’s handbag smelled. Like faintly of tobacco, a perfume sample or 2, mint from gum, lipstick, leather and wood. To really get it there, I mix it with a bit of Tom Fords Ombré Leather - somehow this brings out the florals to my nose and just compliments Stash so well. I’m currently obsessed.

This one surprised me. Ordered a bottle recently, and the first few sprays I could smell an overwhelming coconut scent/nutty scent. However, when I resprayed it earlier today, that nutty scent had toned down a lot and everything seems more balanced now. Now its a really comforting creamy scent which opens up spicy but slightly nutty, which tones down into a super comfy wood. I really like it. Perfect for a cozy autumn or winter night. I will be keeping this one for sure, definitely worth picking it up for the price (£20 for 100ml is a steal for this).

Am I the only person who smells licorice/star anise in the opening? This has become one of my favorites and I find it so versatile by itself or layered with a variety of things from amber/spicy to aromatic/citrus scents. It really is lovely with Dua Brand’s interpretation of Strangelove’s Melt My Heart, “Melt in Love”, and Dua’s version of Guerlain Neroli Outrenoir, “Neroli from Another World”. One of the best (blind) buys ever. It’s such a conforming and sophisticated scent and I find myself reaching for it all the time.

The opening is magical—fresh, green, spicy, and unlike anything else I own. As it dries down, the ginger, sage, and vetiver come together beautifully, creating a clean, aromatic scent that's both fresh and comforting. What surprised me most is how quietly sensual it becomes. It's never loud or overly sweet, yet there's something incredibly attractive about it—calm, confident, and effortlessly forest sexy. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but somewhere along the way, .........I completely fell in love with it. ♡♡♡♡♡

for the price I definitely think this is worth it. It’s sweet like incense but woody enough that it doesn’t make you feel nauseous (which i’ve been finding happens to me a lot with incense type notes unfortunately). it’s unisex, but not overly masculine in my opinion. would be really fun to layer with something like wood sage and sea salt by joe malone since i find it lasts longer. my lid does leak a little bit but not bad, just a little on the hands sometimes. i really enjoy this!!! weirdly niche for the price! 10/10

Unisex AF. I smell the “leather and cathedrals” SJP was going for, with a lot of cedar as well. This smells like and looks like it comes from a pretty pricey niche fragrance house that isn’t worried about appealing to mainstream audiences. This perfume is excellent on its own, but I think it would be an excellent layering perfume as well. Blind buy safe ONLY FOR THOSE who know they like what others deem as POLORIZING. It’s SO herbal, aromatic, woody af, incense heavy, etc. Smells like a punk rock witch apothecary

This is my favorite type of scent. It's very snuggly, and there's no screechy or off-putting florals. It reminds me of E&J Nirvana Black so much. EJNB might be a touch sweeter and a touch less earthy. They are definitely in the same wheelhouse. Both are fabulous, discontinued fragrances. Stash is not a cheap junk celebrity scent. I think this is the best SJP fragrance, hands down. And as far as celebrity scents go, it is definitely one of the best. I'm not really even an SJP fan, but this is good juice.

I absolutely love this perfume! It is woody, aromatic and slightly green. It's unisex but I see how it can lean more masculine, with that being said I think its a bold choice for a woman to wear. It's a pity when good perfumes get discontinued. Comparing this to Billie Eilish No2: They are similar in the sense of being woody, green and aromatic but Billie Eilish No2 is sweeter & lighter than Stash because of the vanilla & apple blossom in it. In terms of lasting power I find that Stash performs better.

It smells like sex in a pine forest. It both absolutely terrifies and completely enchants. It's got that sweaty vetiver funk but you can't stop smelling it. It smells so raunchy and filthy and animalic and divine. It smells like hot man sweat - a fact confirmed to me by the male members of my family each time I put it on, as they won't hesitate to pull me aside and with a concerning tone in their voice ask if I had a shower today. Sarah I beg you, bring it back. I bought all the bottles left.

So, Microperfumes has this for $3.25 today for it's travel size flash sale. I came to read the reviews to see if I wanted it, because when something costs $3.25, that's the time you experiment to see if you like it. I was immediately intrigued by all the polarized reviews. Hate or love, there was no in-between. So I ordered it. If anyone else is looking to try it, now is the day! I am not sponsored by them. I just buy from them a lot. Woody, resin, with some sharp citrus notes on the opening. I don't get much pepper or pistachio on my skin, but it stays woody through the dry down. I also get notes of soap on the dry down, but fancy soap, like the artisanal fancy soap you can buy at the farmer's market. Not remotely sweet, that's a good thing, there are too many sweet fragrances out right now. I wish it lasted longer on my skin, but at such a low price point I can't really complain. Totally unisex, I love this.

Where I live you can buy this Vinolia Sandalwood soap and this smells a lot like that to me... smells like my childhood... or maybe Pears soap. Clean, soapy, woody, unisex but leaning masculine, although I’m happy to wear it as a woman. It’s very comforting to me, I really like it. I am also fleetingly reminded of Santal 33, though in general Santal 33 is more beautiful to me. My dad has always been a fan of this kind of scent, he’s nearly 90 but I’m excited for him to try it!

You get up early in the morning at a hotel in the Swedish countryside. and after having a fresh shave, you’ve snuck a dirty chai latte and a slice of pumpkin loaf into the wooden sauna before anyone has used it. You unfold your newspaper, cross your legs, and have a seat on the cedar bench. A bit of shaving cream has escaped you, and sits just under your nose as you smell the warm spices and dry wood around you. This is that moment of silent peace in a bottle.

I am on my fourth bottle. It resonates with my personality and I love how long it stays on my clothes smelling like an expensive niche fragrance. I wear it daily and it gets me compliments everywhere I go. I didn't know what to expect from SJP when I first ordered it in 2021 and now I am totally hooked. Gorgeous and warm blend of woods and spices. It's funny how it can change and sometimes smell very innocent on me and super sexy the next day. She's on fire.

This is a niche quality perfume at drugstore prices. Very spicy and woody and a bit of alcohol like a whiskey smell to me. A wonderful amber that is perfectly unisex. If you like woodsy ambers this is absolutely worth checking out. It's neither masculine or feminine. Perfectly balanced. It's also nice when layered with bianco Latte to make it smell like Chai tea Latte. It's a great value, great unisex perfume long lasting. Also great bottle design.

It's a shame this has been discontinued. Stash is everything a celebrity fragrance usually isn't. Complex, bold, and a real confidence booster. On nights out, I’m constantly told I smell amazing. This is for the girl who is (or strives to be) effortlessly cool. She follows an espresso martini with an old-fashioned. She's warm, mysterious, and just a little bit sweet. Stash feels like a secret, and I kind of want to keep it that way.

This is gorgeous, mysterious, and womanly. The woods and patchouli are prominent to me, as well as the pepper. I don't pick up on the grapefruit, but I do smell some aromatic sage. And Vetiver in the background. This fragrance is well blended. Not too feminine, definitely unisex, but there is something very womanly about it. Strong, mature, confident woman is what I get. Perfect scent for fall/winter. Might be too much for summer.

There is nothing like this perfume. You can see by the “reminds me of” section is very conflicted. This is a woody powdery almost vintage feeling creation. To me it has an almost wet feeling to it and I don’t mean aquatic. It’s totally unisex but also leans on the niche scale. For the price it’s worth a blind buy if you like woody niche scents that don’t conform, in which case stick to basic Baccarat rouge or Santal 33.

Guys, this is definitely unisex, if not masculine. Love the woody, cedar if-not-myrrh note in it and the contrast it brings to all the vanilla, sweet, or ambroxan heavy winter fragrances that are so popular right now. I find myself reaching for it more than my Jo Malone equivalent. Total steal at this price point with strong projection and good longevity. Warm, rich and smooth. Perfect for the colder months.

A dark, nutty, boozy, earthy, woody concoction. Never dreamt a celebrity fragrance (selling discounted at drugstores here in Australia) would sweep me off my feet. The (metaphoric) fall has been hard & humbling to say the least. Sprayed it on card and it smelled exactly like my most detested fragrance of all time, Santal 33, goddammit it I hate that scent and couldn't believe I'd accidentally bought 30ml of a dupe thereof. BUT, on skin, thank christ, it's not that. It's got a sandlewood vibe but is more subtle and fresh, light. It kind of smells like it could be a Guerlain Homme flanker. Very nice!

Absolutely beautiful, niche quality perfume. It's unique, woody, aromatic with a touch of citrus and even coconut if you search for it. Loads of vetiver in the drydown. I find there are similarities between this and Autumn Vibes, Eilish No2 and perhaps even Jazz Club. This smells so much more expensive than it is. Performance is brilliant! Amazing sillage and longevity.
