Grandma wanders outside the care home and gets lost in an eerie forest. Beautifully balanced, powdery forest scent, big, strong balsamic and fresh notes from the eucalyptus and ginger that slowly fade and reveal the smell of freshly cut wood, surrounded by a subtle sweet musk. As the wear progresses, florals and amber creep into the foreground. Extraordinarily deep and versatile scent, this is what a “traditionally masculine” forest scent could be if it wasn’t afraid of a little drama... Not literal or photorealistic at all, but strongly suggestive. Each wear allows you to focus on a new little detail you didn’t appreciate before.

very elegant and not trivial perfume. don’t recommend this as blind buy. for me it is smell of monastery in the forest. also i feel vanilla well after 15-20 minutes

To me it smells like a cross between initial Oud Wood and Straight to Heaven (lots of unlisted patchouli, yes) with added strong note of eucalyptus (hello, cough drops). Perhaps not the most original of creations but feels high quality and like the above mentioned perfumes is certainly my type. I don’t think it’s worth the original price of 200$, but on sale - it’s value for money and I’m considering a full bottle.
