98. Meet Joplin

I liked this scent upon first test. I soon discovered the more I wear this, the more I enjoy it! It’s an easy reach for me and suitable for most occasions. I don’t really understand the low rating!

Meet Joplin was a slow burn for me. On first wear, it felt like running straight into a wall of scent — dense, tightly blended, almost too much to parse. The citrus opening flashes by in a minute or two, and then you’re dropped directly into the heart of the fragrance without a transition. That linear structure threw me at first. But with each wear, I’ve learned how to navigate it. It’s multilayered without truly evolving, a continuous chord rather than a shifting melody. Once my nose adjusted, the details started to separate: the soft rose, the lavender haze, the slight piney lift, the smoky woods humming underneath. It’s pretty, vintage‐leaning, and quietly floral with a woody, almost smoky backbone. The vanilla reads powdery and feminine — something I didn’t love at first, but it’s growing on me the more I let it sit on skin. What once felt overwhelming now feels well‐blended and intentional. It’s a fragrance that rewards patience, not instant gratification. Meet Joplin has become one of those scents I appreciate more with each wear — familiar now, but still intriguing, like a room I can finally move through with ease.
