Mock Orange

Thanks to this fragrance, mock orange is my newest favorite floral note in perfumes. I remember when I first tried Savour fragrances in a discovery set, I loved Mock Orange, but God! This fragrance makes me more addict with every wear. It's a fragrance that I find unique, but still easy to wear and I personally never tried other fragrances with this floral note. All this combo of notes: jasmine, siberian pine, melon, mock orange, cedar, wild strawberries, make this creation an exquisite one. Mock Orange has a rich, sweet, nectary floral touch, somewhere between gardenia, orange blossom and jasmine. The sweetness I feel in here is like tasting a lemon/orange flavored jelly, but without being sour (you just know it's citrusy based) and some whiffs of melon. Just few minutes later, the sweetness is very well balanced by a soft green, fresh, cool touch from the siberian pine, with some woodsy vibes in the background. I think Mock Orange is the essence of mediteranean summers with a delicious, alluring sweetness and I absolutely love it! Unisex, very potent with very good sillage, this is perfect for cold weather.

I have a bottle of this perfume. It lasts about 8 hours where it is mainly maintained at medium intensity. The funny thing about this perfume is that if you like to look at the notes of perfumes, it will surprise you because it doesn't smell like strawberry or melon... this perfume smells like orange. From the first spray this perfume smells like a green orange scent, slightly woody and even with a hint of bitter orange. It is a citrus perfume with all those aromatic nuances. Here we simply forget about the notes and focus on what reaches our nose. It is a perfectly unisex perfume always indicated for those who enjoy the citrus, green, aromatic and slightly woody fruity aroma. Of course, perfect for hot weather, although you can wear it at any time.

This is a lot better than the rating here on fragantica suggest! Fresh natural smelling underrated scent.

The mock orange is spot on! It really smells like the flowers. A perfect summer scent for me. Love it!

I live in California and have a mock orange bush in my front yard and an orange fruit tree in my back yard. So to me this smells VERY much like the mock orange when it's blooming, very strong, a little indolic just like the bush in bloom, but also like I took an orange from the backyard tree and squeezed it. It's got a juicy, fresh orange smell. I never get much of the other (or any) notes at all. I don't know about you all, but I have a 'cold' part of my skin and a very warm part, like in the crook of my arm, where things always smell better. The cold part has the indoles and a sort of funky smell (maybe the melon?) that I'm not wild about, while the warm part is SO lovely, no indoles, no funkiness, and just very beautiful, so if I did buy a full bottle, I would make sure to only spray it on the warm skin. I have a 2 ml small sample bottle and did five sprays. It's very strong, with strong sillage and longevity. I will stick with 2-3 next time.

Very nice white floral. I def get a hint of the melon.

I smell mostly melon and cedar. The combination makes it smell like plastic. Mock orange should smell sweet, a little like sun-ripe strawberries and green. It’s unfortunately none of that and imo not very well composed. Lasts a long time, if you like the scent.

Thought this would be wonderful from reading the reviews but not to me. It smells very heavy like a synthetic but still nice mock orange for a few minutes, then that disappears and it turns woody.

The Mock Orange bushes are all blooming now where I live. This fragrance has ZERO to do with the actual fragrance of Mock Orange. I’m SO DISAPPOINTED. Just.dont.
