this starts with a beautiful jammy rose with hints of spicy patchouli. it's gorgeous. it kind of reminds me of lush's rose jam but with patchouli instead of vanilla. after a minute or two i sense the warmth from the amber and it adds to the voluptuousness of the rose. then the perfume takes on an almost boozy quality, like a rose liqueur. i have smelled similar perfumes, but this one is done very well and is one of the best SA perfumes i've tried. a beautiful resinous red rose perfume.

Yes it is quite similar to Rose d'Arabie (past the opening) and VERY persistent!

First Impressions: (Discovery set) Note: I was smelling a lot of perfumes at once. Sorry couldn’t help myself lol. Listen I’ve never smelled rose d’arabie before, but this smells like Initio’s atomic rose for me on paper. Not a rose fan especially jammy roses, but will tell you later how I feel about this one.

It’s a very classy rose. If Channel had a vintage rose fragrance, I imagine it would smell like this with the middle eastern steam and performance. It’s matured, sophisticated and nicely blended.

Very similar to Armani Prive Rose d'Arabie. Blast of rose, wish it stayed smelling like the top, dries down sweet and spicy. Very pretty but done before, not sure about longevity yet. Edit: this is amazing, I sprayed my sweater and next day went to put it on and was like what is that amazing smell, I realized it was the dry down of this...it is to die for, creamy but spicy with rose but deep, balanced, blended sweet

My favorite fragrance from Sawalef Swiss Arabian is this scent so far. The scent of rose is delightful. It provides a mysterious, lavish, and an expensive smell. During a night out in Dubai, while partying with my friends, I wore this fragrance, and the ladies adored it. I received numerous compliments and inquiries about the name of this perfume. Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 8/10 Scent: 9/10 Great value for money.

This one is a power beast, it's strong and I mean really, really strong. Do not blind buy. I'm not sure if it's too rosy/floral or not, will give it a few more weeks. Update: I ended up giving it away, found the scent sweetly sickening.
