Majestic Amber

I discovered the Sawalef line while travelling in Eastern Europe, and it really knocked my socks off. This is very fine perfumery, and competes in the "niche" realm easily and is a steal for the price. The concentration of this fragrance is very high at 25% so 1-2 sprays will do the job. The first purchase I made from this line was Majestic Amber as it stood out to me from other fragrances in general. It struck me as a relative of the masterpiece Angel, with a powerful accord of chocolate and rose, supported by a rich patchouli. A zesty and spicy nutmeg flavor encircles these heavy notes. It goes on very strong, so I apply away from my face. I can't let go of the fact that I detect a dab of oud, and it smells genuine no less, not the oud accords found in most fragrances. The scent trail is superb, and like Angel, a clever mix of gourmand and floral flavors that is delicious. This is not a scent that blends with you or your chemistry; it is a curated accessory that exudes taste and confidence. I'm a man, and wear it regularly, but I would suggest that this is a dark feminine fragrance. My one gripe is that there is a synthetic musk in here that taints the late drydown, but it's a fair compromise.

Smelled this at the store absolutely amazing starts strong and opens with ambery sweet rose it then dries down the rose becomes faint and eventually it becomes a dark sweet spicy scent that last forever its very detailed doesnt smell cheap or flat the notes blend perfectly its not too sweet the plum note is amazing as always. I sprayed this on skin once and the entire next day its still very noticeable its not super cloying preferably an evening scent due to the mysterious sweet and spicyness it projects but can be worn anytime its pretty unique, and the longevity and sillage is a 10/10 this the first scent i smelled from SAWALEF I'm very impressed will try more
