Lido Life

The best citrus I've ever smelt or worn. Although the performance for longevity and sillage didn't do as well as another sample perfume I had bought from this brand, the smell of this trumps it massively. Its sillage varies more on the intimate side, but its longevity has good hold, where I could smell it a good couple hours after its first application. It is very unisex, and very much a daytime scent. Everyone saying it is summer, and I agree but I also think this would do great in the springtime, a very fresh smelling fragrance. The oriental notes like ylang-ylang and black pepper were noticeable on the dry down too but definitely not overbearing at all, and it still maintained that fresh citrusy smell. I will be saving up to buy the whole bottle, as I have buying lots of small sample fragrances, but this one is worth the whole thing, def recommend!

This is a rare bright, crisp, green citrus fragrance with subtle resort vibes - that doesn't smell like VIW or anything else I've smelled. Sharp, bitter green ozonic citrus and subtle coconut and booze. It's awesome. 9/10

Edit update : 5 days later People it’s the best sophisticated summer citrus I have bought lately , and I know citrus: Profvmvm aroma Acqua Viva, Orangina, Eccentric Molecules 01+ Mandarin, Studio Ofattivo all citrus line, Nuda Veritas, Prada Madarine, Perris Monte Carlo diamond Ceder, bergamotto, Mandarin, Tom Ford with its blue bottles of Amalfi scent variations , VCA Neroli Amara, etc.. this summer I suggest - you get Lido Life ! It’s amazing , doesn’t project strongly because it’s an extract, but holds for a long time, enveloping you in the aura of fresh citrus/ floral cocktail - what a luxurious sexy summer in a bottle. Out of all the line from Scent Journey, if I had to choose summer sexy, it would be Lido life. I got it on MyPerfect Scent site in the uk (super fast service , l love Gaby’s shop). 👍 making me happy every time I spray it. Italian luxury charm. This is like somebody took Neroli Amara by Quentin Biche halved the musk, added Gelsimino Nobile by Acqua di Parma, rounded up sharp edges with mildness of coconut (don’t worry you won’t hear coconut at all in the fragrance), and reserved a sit on yacht with a bottle of Prosecco 😉

Ok, first of all - it’s great! After bright lemon almost lemon cello opening it practically right away turns into an all rounder second skin/ lotion(y) scent, soft and creamy. I suspect it’s coconut’s fault. Although, there is nowhere prenounced coconut in this scent whatsoever. If you are familiar with Acqua di Parma Gelsomino Nobile and it’s gorgeous sexy dry-down after about the full day of wearing, that’s what Lido Life is reminisent to me. Nothing shouting out loud here after the initial spray. Very classy, understated luxury summer gem. Ordered a full bottle.

If you stayed at a 5 star resort where it’s warm out, say Hawaii, Florida, or Palm Springs. You may come across a scent like this. It smells like you walked into a clean, open, resort lobby where everyone is enjoying their vacation and you just arrived. Fresh white towels, poolside, creamy, green, sunny. It’s an incredible summer white musk at a respectable 20% concentration. I recommend a sample big time. I ordered a bottle after a couple days of wearing this. Pamplemousse is criminally underrated in fragrances and it’s a star here.

I bought this based on the reviews and it doesn’t disappoint. The opening is like having a wave of citrus water wash over you- amazingly refreshing but over very quickly. Then the delicious, herbaceous and subtle floral notes come through- plus a big dose of booze. It reminds me of a cocktail - maybe a mojito. There are faint hints of coconut but mercifully nothing like suntan lotion here. It is bracing, fresh and unisex. Perfect for sunny days but the booze makes it warm and cosy too. A great all rounder.
