Dubai Oud

I came across Scent Salim in Bradford a couple years ago. I also visited their London pop up store around Christmas about a year or so ago. They make high quality fragrances, and there's always a code floating around. I've owned more than 20/30 of them at this point. Both sprays and oils. In regard to Dubai Oud, the spray is what stands out to me. When I brought this into work two people went out and order a bottle. When I brought this to one of my best mates, he wanted a bottle as well. This is a beautiful Rose Oud fragrance, which projects for a very long time. Longevity-wise it will last all day, but several sprays and you will be leaving a silage everywhere you go. At work, 2-3 sprays is enough. Out and about in winter or autumn 6 or 7 sprays will make you stand out when walking through cities and downs. This is leaning more towards luxury/ smart. But it is not out of place amongst friends. I wore this scent ot my nephews funeral, and it now reminds me of this day. It reminds me that life is short so wear fragrances you love. Anyone not sure about Oud, to be honest this is a good entry point. It's there, but it won't be too much for you. It's a non-in-your face sweet rose fragrance with an earthy touch. Definitely masculine leaning. It will make you stand out, in a good way. The bottle design is also very cool. I have the oil of this as well, and as you expect it is also long lasting. If ever there was a flagship scent for the brand, this is what I think of when I think about them.

I'm not sure about fake/paid accounts, but I recently received a number of oils and frags from Scent Salim and, like this one, find them all to be lovely and easy to wear. Some attars I find to be not so friendly for those around me (I still enjoy them, especially oud oils and oud-based attars), but all of these are really enjoyable. As I've only had one occasion to try Dubai Oud, I will wear it a few more times to provide my honest thoughts on it, but my initial take is that it is a nice fragrance.

Sweet, fruity, warm and spicy. I see why it is a favourite. Would wear for all year round, as it is still fresh enough to be worn in summer, but mainly for evenings.

Another one of Scent Salim’s best frangrences, this brings a spirit of the uae to you with its beautiful strong ingredients which make this scent long lasting. Another brilliant fact about this scent is that it is not very sweet or very woody but balanced which is another reason im in love with it
