Fae

Finally a candy scent I can get on board with! I have a sweet tooth, with a fondness for candy and I really enjoy this perfume! It has a really nice tropical vibe because of the coconut and banana notes. Bananas are my least favorite fruit to eat. So who would have thought I’d love a banana note in perfume so much?! I also was surprised at how much I like CSP Vanille Banane perfume, however Fae is nothing like Vanille Banane. Fae is sweeter, creamier with less vanilla and more coconut. Thankfully this doesn’t turn into a powdery pastry scent on my skin. I don’t know if the Fae like candy, but if they do, I’d imagine they would love this. Bravo Scent Trunk. This is an indulgent treat for kids of all ages.

Fae is an absolutely appropriate name for this scent! It opens with an ethereal floral and banana, and as it develops it gets sweeter and marshmallowey, a bit less floral. It is SO delicate and feminine. While it is very sweet I hesitate to think of it as a gourmand, because it's a bit too fluttery to pin down. I bought this because I'm on the search for the ultimate banana fragrance, and this isn't that, but it is an ensemble with banana as one of the key players. It's very lovely.

Starts out smelling like realistic banana, dries down to a buttery vanilla pastry. Delicious fragrance.

This is SUPER sweet to my nose! I get mostly a very syrupy pear scent. The sweet mid notes are giving pink sugar vibes. The sticky sweetness sticks with me through the dry down while slightly morphing into a pleasant marshmallow scent. I hardly detect banana, just a ton of pear. No complaints though because I LOVE a good pear scent.

On me this fragrance smells like bananas three ways, First it is realistic, then as a marshmallow/taffy, then a warm banana bread. Its very yummy, doesn't scream "Fae" to me but it is nice.

All I get from this is banana laffy taffy ... but that is ok because when I mix it w. Buontalenti + Burberry Her Elixir , I get this wonderful strawberry banana fruit cocktail mix 😋 😍

I really like this scent. I read the review that said it smelled like banana Laffy Taffy and I knew I had to try it. Fae has replaced my usual fun, summer scent, Cheroisa 40. It is more sophisticated than Cheroisa 40 while still satisfying my desire to smell sweet, fruity and carefree. The tonka mingles with the fruit to provide a hint of freshly mown straw. The dry down smells warm and golden on my skin but fades all too fast. I just spritz more and enjoy the satisfaction of using up a bottle.

This scent is so delicious! I smell the pear in the opening with a hint of banana then it goes straight into tropical gummy bears.

A creative and fun fragrance but not what I was expecting. Based off the notes, I was looking forward to banana candy .. but, on my skin, this is dried banana chips and very powdery marshmallow. In the drydown, I get a touch of thick coconut pastry cream. This should’ve been a slam-dunk for me. In fact, I considered blind-buying a full bottle, but I’m so glad I got the travel spray to test. Overall, it feels a little off .. I think the marshmallow is a little too loud, and it feels cheap overall. I’m reminded of Harajuku Lovers Pop Electric Lil' Angel .. same synthetic, overwhelmingly powdery sweet notes. A skin scent with low projection; longevity is average. It ended up being a scrubber. I’ll try it again in warmer weather before I toss it. Maybe I’ll mix this with a caramel frag? That may be nice way to use up my travel spray ...

this has the potential to be a beautiful fragrance. super sweet juicy pear + banana laffy taffy, but it has this artificial, sweaty medicinal accord that ruins the entire fragrance for me. thought it was just my skin chemistry, but it smells worse straight out of the bottle.

Imagine your gothic teenager son just arrived home after an afternoon out with his friends, walking downtown, terrorizing small kids at the mall, walking back to downtown to eat some chinese... you hear the door open, he says hi to all of you and you hear how he takes off his leather boots in his teenage room and drops them on the floor making a clunky and loud noise. You close you eyes and think about how today was a very hot and humid mid summer day and he hasn’t showered in 3 days, and you also know he has been wearing the same socks, he hasn’t change them, they should be white but are somehow a weird mix of gray and brown. Your son goes to the kitchen to make a pb&j sandwich and you sneak quickly to his room with your banana glade in your hand and you spray the room and spray near the boots and pray for that musty, vinagery smell to fade away and go back immediately to the family room... but you forgot to open his window. THIS is how this fragrance smell, I cannot understand how other reviewers are smelling something different, something sweet and comfy and banana and omg is the best banana perfume out there... yeah, no. There is another reviewer who mentions a musty, medicinal smell and I agree. This was a scrubber and also that lame sample of Flirty Cassis that smells like trash juice with chocolate being outside the whole day, that same day your teen gothic son went to the mall with this friends.

I was impressed by Stroopwafel, and found Scent Trunk's 1 oz to be affordable, so I tried this next- a blind buy. At first it's a kid's scratch and sniff banana sticker. Then it's a sketchy taxi cab's banana air freshener. All of that- in the BEST way. Now that I'm heading to work 1-2 hours after application- it's a pleasant banana sweet fluff vanilla. Fantastic. Could be stronger is my only complaint. 8 months later- it's stronger!! I really adore this. It does get a bit musty/dusty/starchy/doughy in the drydown, but I don't mind!

All I picture when wearing this is a beautiful banana flavored, rainbow colored lollipop left out in the sun to melt and turn gooey. This is divine and everything I had hoped it to be while taking the blind buy plunge. I love the idea of all these indie noses creating for Scent Trunk and can’t wait to delve further

This is truly a unique and beautiful banana fragrance :) Very realistic banana note that never becomes sickly sweet or artificial. Personally I like to layer it with Sol de Janeiro’s Cheirosa ‘71.

This is excellent... it is a dank ripe banana in the opening, and then transitions into a creamy soft banana rendition... I think I'll pick up more of this.

This smells to me like the banana runt candies. First blast almost smelled like a strong banana liqueur, but becomes more subtle on my skin.
