Stroopwafel

I’m genuinely surprised by the official note breakdown for Scent Trunk Stroopwafel—musk, amber, and espresso are not what I would have picked out in a blind sniff. What I experience instead is a decadent swirl of caramel, smouldering woods, and a rich, almost enveloping vanilla, touched with a subtle spice I can’t quite name but absolutely love. This scent feels like what I wanted Whiff of a Wafflecone to be: deeper, warmer, and far more indulgent. It’s powerful without being cloying—sweet, sultry, and confidently cozy all at once. Performance is impressive. I get strong projection for the first 2–3 hours, where it really makes a statement, then it settles into a more moderate but still noticeable vanilla scented aura that lingers for another 8 hours or so. It’s the kind of fragrance that wraps around you like a warm dessert on a cold evening—comforting, but with a seductive edge. If you love gourmand fragrances with a smoky, slightly mysterious twist, this one is absolutely worth experiencing.

Delicious scent, far superior to whiff of waffle cone imo. smells sweet, syrupy, smoky, with a faint hint of floral. I blind bought this on Black Friday and I am very pleasantly surprised. If you like unique gourmands, this is definitely for you. Very very sweet but not generic, almost like a grown up version of vanilla skin.

This fragrance is exactly what it says it is. It's sweet and warm with a hint of smoke that keeps it from being too syrupy and cloying. For me personally this is the perfect fall gourmand. When I smell it I feel like I'm drinking tea and eating a stroopwafel in a warm Cafe on a chilly fall day.

It's pretty good, but am I insane for wanting it to actually smell like stroopwafel? I thought that was the point, but I guess not. It does smell like cinnamon to me, which is kind of nice. I'm still going to happily wear the sample I got. But if you're hoping for something that encapsulates the whole vibe of the name, then look elsewhere. I was really hoping this would succeed in the way that A Whiff Of Wafflecone does.

This is what I expected By the Fireplace to be. Up close, this smells more like burnt sugar. In the air, you definitely get roasted marshmallows by the campfire. It’s not overly sweet or smoky. It’s really the perfect balance. It wears much lighter than I would like, though. I find this comforting for bedtime.

smells like a waffle cone which is cute, but it's so, so weak. the longevity isn't bad but the projection and sillage are virtually nonexistent. could be okay to layer with, but on its own doesn't even feel like i'm really wearing perfume :/ overall rating: 🩷🩷💔🖤🖤 2.5/5

I love this! At first it's hella gourmand- with caramel and brown sugar/wafers, 1-2 hours later it's still strong but more of a vanilla musk. (It gets kinda generic here- like Vanilla Powder, Dulce Rosie Jane, or Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Milk.) Perfect daytime for me.

And is the stroopwafel in the room with us?
