Leather in Bourbon

Very nice scent but on the expensive side especially due to the fact in a side by side comparison on my hand it is almost exactly a match to TF Ombre Leather at most it is a little softer and a touch sweeter with way more notes , not saying TF is cheap but Bourbon in Leather goes for $240.00 for 75ML while Ombre Leather can be had for $195.00 for 100ML. Upon testing I find the longevity to not be as good as Ombre Leather and I am partial to OL . If I didn't have TF OL I would grab this easily , their collection looks very interesting and the subscription concept is a great idea however on the expensive side . The bottle is awesome especially being able to customize it and the packaging is great as well . Final thought buy it if money is not an object and if TF OL is to oily or sharp for you , if you have OL save your money it would be redundant ! Cheers

A nice soft and slightly spicy leather fragrance. Initially, I get a shot of the bourbon. But that faded. Longevity has something to be desired.

Leather in Bourbon opens with a sweet fruity blast that's almost boozy. That lasts for about 30 seconds as the scent turns quite synthetic - almost having the quality of a cleaning liquid. Luckily, that only lasts a few minutes at which point the leather appears. The leather scent in this case is quite dry, no sweetness left, and has a touch of bitterness. I'm surprised by the comparison to Ombre Leather which has a touch of sweetness not found in Leather in Bourbon. Performance for Leather in Bourbon was moderate for both projection and sillage. Overall, not impressed. Not a standout leather fragrance.

A lovely, delicious leather scent that is tamer than Tom Ford's ombre leather. Very linear in terms of leather/suede notes and I dont get any bourbon. There is something a little more pleasant about this leather when compared to TF's leather version however Leather in Bourbon does not have longevity on my skin and fades in a couple hours. Other scents from this house last longer so this one seems to be an anomaly. I love it but I wont be buying another bottle because it doesnt last one me however I do recommend it knowing that my skin is a scent eating monster.
