Didessa

First of all, Fragrantica's note pyramid is incomplete. Here is the complete list of notes, according to the product packaging: - Top: Anatolian tarragon, Calabrian lime, Marmara figs, Cosenza lemon - Mid: Fleur de tuberose, jiangxi ho leaf, alpine lavender de France, fast river accord - Base: Cambodian oud, Sulawesi patchouli, Virginian cedarwood, Ethiopian coffee, Guaiac wood I had high hopes for Didessa, and it is not a bad fragrance, but unlike the other votes so far (I have no idea what you all are thinking), it is NOT masculine-leaning and borderline not even unisex. It is VERY feminine. The opening just smells like an expensive but *very* rosy bar of soap. I'm assuming that's due in part to the tuberose since there is no rose in Didessa. Even when the rose starts to soften in the mid, it still stays a very floral scent. This was a blind buy for me, and despite the floral notes, I believed it would still be very masculine because of the heavy, woody base notes of Cambodian oud, patchouli, coffee and guaiac wood. Nope. For some reason, NONE of those notes come out at all on my skin. Maybe it comes deeper into the dry down (which I haven't reached yet, as I type this), but I really don't want to have to smell like a girl for the first hour before I get to that point. I give Didessa a "like" because it smells nice, but it's misrepresented as unisex and would be a challenge for guys to wear out.

I have this perfume for a few months. This one is one of the newer perfumes from Scopoli. First of all, this is one of my favourite perfumes ever. It is very hard to describe it. I'm not sure even got to classify it. It is first of all woody, and I detect some floral notes and what I thought are balsamic notes. All the notes are very well mixed and I can't detect any of them individually. Scopoli perfumes are very highly concentrated. One or max two spray are more than enough. I would argue that it is a bit more feminine than unisex. Anyway I would say that it is a woody floral musky perfume. It smells very sophisticated and I can smell that the ingredients are very high quality.

Bright and fresh immediately on application, the citrus notes are delightful but mellow out quickly and settle into an intimate, clean, slightly woody white floral. The cedarwood base note is the strongest on me after a few hours, with the tuberose a close second. Easy to wear, pleasant, versatile, complex without being too challenging. I’ll wear it again on a date or out on the town. Edit: Still faintly present 10+ hours later—just close to the skin. Unexpected longevity for something this light.
