Scotch & Soda Women

When searching fragrances by notes this one kept popping up. Finally got my hands on a sample. It is everything I wanted it to be - opening with bright effervescent aldehydes, developing into a slightly sweet creamy fresh floral. Clean, innocent, crispy, a little bit laundry, a little bit Chanelesque. But the longevity is abysmal. I mean abysmal - less than two hours later no one can smell it, not me, not my partner, no one. Even though it is currently on sale at a little less than a euro per milliliter there is just no way. The 2ml sample didn't even get me through one day and the next day I couldn't even smell it on the scarf I sprayed it on. So sadly, no I won't be going for a full bottle. EDIT: I just found a 90ml bottle that was so inexpensive I bought it. I love the fragrance so I will just carry the bottle around with me and refresh every 45 minutes until it's gone (in a couple of weeks). I'll just enjoy the experience :)

The aldehydes in the opening are lovely and soft and the bergamot and lemon add a bit of zing to the pretty florals but they fade away fast and you're quickly left with a barely there soft clean musk. It is cool and fresh though so it's great for hot days. I originally thought this was too transparent to be appreciated but with time I've found it's this quality that makes it a nice fragrance to wear even though it's fleeting. It's inexpensive too so I have no problems spraying extra. People looking for an aldehyde bomb though will be greatly disappointed.

My current obsession of 2019. It smells so divine and has such soft aldehydes in the opening. One of the most cleanest, soapy, fresh, girly innocent scents I've tried over last decade. Nothing buble-gum-cotton-candy-caramel about this. Too bad the longevity is not entirely there. On me it lasts for 3-4 hours tops. This is something I 've expected the Gabrielle by CHANEL would smell like in my head.

Az aldehides nem éreztem ki belőle, de lehet azért vonz ennyire, mert csak ott van az! Nagyon szeretem, főként világos farmerjackeval, fehér inggel az igazi. Remek kompozíció! Szappanos, mosószeres, friss, tartós, nőies, talán farmeres-sportos nőies...

Someone else described this perfectly.. A creamy fresh floral. For some reason this fragrance kind of reminds me of creaming soda with flowers. Beautiful summer fragrance and honestly more people need this!
