Lavanda Mille

Lavanda Mille was launched in 2016 as the flagship of the brand Segredos de Perfumaria (Perfumery’s Secret), which also started its activities in the same year (to check out the brand's history, click here). But in fact, this fragrance was more of a relaunch than a new creation itself. This is because the perfumer adjusted some points and even increased its concentration to 18%, higher than many perfumes sold as Eau de Parfum in the current market. Until then, this fragrance had already been very successful in some States of Brazil with the name of Mil Beijinhos (Thousand Kisses). Hence the Mille, in its name. Lavanda Mille is a fragrance classified as aromatic-floral and fresh and has notes of lavender, galbanum, rosemary, and camphorated accord, on the output. Its body carries notes of white roses, mimosa, and lily of the valley, while the base of the composition has notes of musk, patchouli, and nutmeg. I confess that I am biased in not to write any criticism about this fragrance because I am in love with it. It brings a mix of good times, touches of affection, peaceful nights of sleep and situations of total relaxation. It seems that you have experienced all this and that there is a recovered missing, a kind of nostalgia, as soon as you spray this perfume on the skin. And speaking of skin, Lavanda Mille combines the best of lavandin with mimosa and all its sweetness, not to mention its powdery facets. Lavandin may not be considered as noble as lavender, but its essence is often more poignant and is therefore widely used in perfumery. And to improve, the patchouli of this fragrance brings herbaceous and sweet nuances, without going to the earthy side, or to the chocolate side. And the musk, on the other hand, runs away from the smell that reminds us of cleanliness and takes us back to the animalic and sensual side, very common in more dated perfumes. Lavanda Mille is unisex, elegant and easy to please, not to mention its versatile side when it comes to comfort, whether at work or at home. And the rule is clear: If you don't like lavender perfumes, don't insist. If you like it, there is a great risk of discovering your new signature scent. Finally, it is worth mentioning that its name can be misleading because the Brazilian market tends to think that any fragrance with the name of lavender is linked to the former colonies sold in the pharmacy. But Lavanda Mille is into another category, not to mention its high durability. Nota 1000 (pun intended)!
