Eau Aromatique (Sauge + Tonka)

I love this aromatic EDT! Rather masculine, it reminds me: - the EDT La Nuit de l'Homme by YSL - the EDT Nature Bois de Gaïac et Genièvre by YR - the EDT Bois de Sauge by YR Average longevity and discreet projection, it is quite fair for an EDT especially at this price. If you're a man (...or even a woman!) and like aromatic scents, give it a try! 8/10

Fresh, green and strong at first creates a more masculine opening which quite quickly turns warmer and sweeter, until it is subtle, intimate and very feminine.

Smells like shaving cream. Not a big fan

Back when these were first released in my country, a friend bought them all, and was disappointed by all but one, and so, wishing to gift them to her friends, called me over to try the one she intended for me — and I got to test them all out! The preface might have been longer than my review, because all I have to say for this is that despite all those fascinating notes listed (geranium, sage, pine) this smells exactly like every aftershave ever. I don’t know who would like to smell like aftershave, but if you’re a teen boy overdosing on Axe body sprays, this might be a bit of a step up. Having two other fragrances from this line, I can attest they’re surprisingly long lasting, and depending on your skin’s chemistry with the particular notes, can even have a decent sillage. It’s more likely for the scent to be lost on you towards the end of the day, but it can be detected by others. As far as I recall (they’re no longer available where I live —bummer— so I can’t check) they come in 3 sizes: 15 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml. I haven’t tried the 15 ml bottles, but they’re all pretty compact, with thick glass (so even if you wish to re-spray you can bring it with you) and a nice nozzle that has a finer mist.

È un peccato sia fuori produzione, acquistato 2 volte, il mio profumo da borsetta.. Ho ricevuto molti complimenti, certamente non paragonabile alle fragranze più strutturate dei grandi marchi ma nel suo piccolo ha fatto un'ottimo lavoro.
