Fleurs de Citronnier

I've been looking for several Spring/summers now. For MY perfect or really good Lemon Blossom Parfum. This is very close. BEAUTIFUL Lemon Blossom! This scent in really nice. It can be worn. Very well by both men and women. Interestingly, on males it more of a lemon musk. On women more of a lemon floral (blossom). Very lovely scent. It's pretty linear. Which is what I wanted. It smells wonderful from start to finish Silage is good for a citrus type scent, longevity is ok. Not beastly or long compared to many of the other Lùten's. But, lemony citrus with a light floral usually aren't. This is a very pleasant scent. Not offensive in anyway. I would recommend maybe applying some lightweight or dry coconut oil or something like that. After your shower and before applying this perfume. It does help with the longevity. I purchased the 3.3 oz bottle of Fleurs de Citronnier. Then added 2 ml of Sergé Lùten's Datura Noir, let it set for about week to meld. Perfecto! For me I needed a little more of that Lùten's floral DNA in the Fleurs de Citronnier perfume. Since Datura Noir has that DNA and the lemon Blossom as well. I just figured why not? It didn't change the scent of Fleurs de Citronnier. Just boosted the floral notes a tad. It also boosted to the silage and longevity. Now, I have the perfect Lemon Blossom Parfum I was searching for. I think it's a great investment. You get a great quality, beautiful perfume for a reasonable price.

This was love at first sniff for me. My very first impression was that it smelled like frozen lemonade, which was very refreshing. The lemonade slowly morphs into a very beautiful lemon blossom, a note I've only recently become familiar with. Combined with neroli and the initial lemonade made sweet by just the right amount of honey to avoid being cloying, the middle bursts open like late spring, when all is in bloom. The musk supports it all, cloud-like and clean, and with the help of iris, creates a powdery effect with a touch of woodiness. As for the other notes, I haven't been able to identify them precisely, but whatever they are there to do, they are doing it well. Do not expect impressive sillage. This is more of an intimate skin scent as it settles down. As far as longevity goes, it's moderate and about what I would expect from a light fragrance like this. It's more like an eaux than a proper EDP. I don't know how it compares to the one in the older bottle. The notes are the same, so unless the quality of the ingredients has declined, which is entirely possible under current ownership, I can't see there being much of a difference. Since I never tried that version, I'm quite pleased with what I have. Uncle Serge is starting to represent as a brand in my collection!

Perfect personal fragrance, translate that as minimal longevity, especially of the exquisite lemon flower top note. I'm going to spend a fortune hunting down that elusive scent, carried by the breeze through the southern California orchards just outside of La Jolla...way back in the day before the 10 lane freeway. The Citronnier captures it perfectly, but it's gone before it can be truly savored. Little sillage to speak of. Not being able to walk behind myself, I gauge it by walking down a hallway, then circling back. Is there a scent? Ixnay. For that alone I rate it as over priced; first sprays in the morning, refreshing at noon and again at 3. Ouchie. Les fleurs do persist on my skin and clothes as a beautifully soft and calming aroma. Wonderful at the end of a long day at work. In love with it just now, but I'll soon see the level dramatically lower and rotate to another favorite, saving the experience for another round.

Beautiful revitalizing citrus. Summer scent perfection. To all the uneducated saying this is a clone of Neroli Portofino, no, it's not. Fleurs de Citronnier has been around since 2004 and changed bottles to this format in 2019, while Neroli Portofino didn't even exist until 2011. If you like this fragrance I also suggest checking out Petit Matin, Gris Clair, and Santal Blanc.

Starts off with Lemon Blossom, Neroli with a touch of sweetness from the honey. Drys down with a good dose of white musk. Lasts about 6 hours on skin.

I have this in both the older and newer bottles and I don’t mind the new formulation at all. This is an understated, near-photorealistic lemon blossom soliflore. It’s floral, it’s pretty, it’s clean. Neither screechy nor reminiscent of cleaning products. More aligned with the spirit of A la nuit than Fleurs d’oranger: elegant, naturalistic white floral soliflores with their vegetal darkness stripped away, supported by delicate, honeyed white musks. Great for hot weather or a freshening pick-me-up or just an on-the-way-out-the-door spritz. An excellent alternative to zesty fruit-forward eaux de cologne. Can double as a luxurious room spray. As of writing, this can be found for $60-$70 for 100ml via eBay/resellers. Do be careful, as the top is both a cap AND a screw top. If you have a nostalgia for lemon trees in bloom, this is not to be missed.

A high, noble enriched citrus, probably bergamot here. Compared to Voyage or Dior Cologne, it’s nothing; a competitor to Yuzu, but Yuzu has some added value. This is a good option, clearly reminiscent of the best citrus scents like Mandarino. So if it’s cheaper than Amalfi, it’s worth considering. It’s a European version of Miyake, more western, more Ford-like. Compared to Neroli Portofino Acqua and Mandarino Acqua, it pales. I tend to agree with the idea that it’s rather a clone of Neroli, and the other Lutens scent with mandarin in its name, called Mandarino. Due to its lower price than Neroli, it’s worth testing/comparing on the skin.

Fantastic lemon opening, fresch and vibrant. Unfortunately to feminine in my skin after an hour or so.

FYI and Caveat Emptor: if you purchase Fleurs de Citronnier now, in the "ice cube"-style square clear bottle, be aware that it has recently undergone a MAJOR reformulation (to my nose, much for the worse) compared to the rectangular-bottle original. The powdery musk of the original (which gave it its former unusual flair) has been dialed back almost to nonexistence, and the longevity is now abysmal. At this point, it teeters precariously close to being a pretty, forgettable lemon-blossom cologne. What an unbelievable shame! All of the edginess and interest of the original is pretty much gone. And I say that as someone who has been collecting Uncle Serge for cerca 20 years (and have 20 or so FBs to prove it). One can re-create the original--sort of--by anchoring it with a smear of Demeter Beeswax or Honey roll-on oil, overspraying FdC, then hitting it with a spritz of Serge's Clair de Musc. But we shouldn't have to work that hard; the bleepin' frag should not have been watered-down and dumbed-down in the first place (unusual for this house to do, but wow have they ever reformulated it in the worst possible ways here). I have a small sample of this for test, it has just arrived so I have sprayed on the test strip. Oh my gosh this has lit up my synapses. That sour, tart, lemony top note is to die for! I know the longevity is destined to disappoint but I can't wait to try on skin. It's bottled joy. Will report back later. Pleased to report the longevity is excellent, I got 8 hours from it. It does become a skin scent pretty quickly but I'm impressed nonetheless. I dont know if this is because I'm testing in March in cold weather, will be interesting to see if warmer weather affects the longevity.

Can not wait the summer to wear this bomb. It is unisex and sexy. Realistic, well blended, neroli, lemonade, the sweetness is perfect and it makes u feel clean. It leans a little bit like an aftershave but this makes it sexier.

As a huge fan of Fleurs D'Oranger, I was really disappointed by this one, which I hoped would be a breezier, soapier take. The downfall for me is its sharp unpleasant musk note, that makes it feel cheap and astringent.

It is %95 smilar to tf neroli portofino.Better performance and afforadable price also.
