Coffee

This smells like a nice creamy body butter,like cocoa or shea butter. It's very close to the skin.. not quite the powerhouse I was hoping for. I'll try it in autumn

What a bargain! It came as a so called gift with Chocolate from the same brand, and I know why: no coffee at all, it smells ridiculous, not perfumy, but awful! Even too much for toilet, I prefer poo. But I guess it's because it stayed too long on the shelf, and was stored too warm, so the European representative of the Russian brand thought: let's get rid of it in a way that is financially positive for me, not the customer, who has to pay for garbage disposal! The text on the box was in Russian, and Google optical character recognition said that it was manufactured in March 2015, whereas I have fragrances that stay for decades in a cool place without smelling bad. So: worst perfume ever. I hardly dare to blind buy inexpensive perfume anymore, for they think it is rubbish, and treat it alike, where perfumes are gems when they are treated well like I do! Note: as you think I am European, so I think that Europeans should behave, as I do when I pay for what I get, for Amazon.de refunded in full, which was half the price of it!

Just trying my first spray now on skin, I DO get the coffee note and brown sugar, I think the floral and citrus balance the slight bitterness of the coffee note without preforming as individual scents in their own right. I find the opening on this on me behaves similar to Pink Sugar, that slight burnt/ bitterness that's brief but turns brilliant on me in Pink Sugars case and just nicely mellow in Coffee. Its sillage and projection may be weak though going to skin scent quickly. I'm wearing this at 0 degrees Celsius in the UK this fine cold morning. I don't find it too powdery. And it's warm and spicy. To sum up, it's wafted a little while I exercised, coffee and sugar, and finally a warm normal vanilla. I've had it on an hour. I like it. However I think I'll use up what I have, it not something I'd repurchase unlike Pink Sugar. Ironically after giving sugar the heave ho in my dietary life I find the gourmand in many perfumes preform on me, so much better. Also haven't eaten any spicy food for the past week so I think that helps. My older nose gets coffee, sugar and an occasional gentle jasmine that's all. It cost me £8 off Amazon, and I'm happy to have it in my sweet collection and it works for me for that coffee note when I'm craving it. But I don't think it's a crowd pleaser. Either buy it for a little warmth and fun, or not. It may be a safe blind buy if you like coffee.

Very generic..but a nice scent. The notes shown...IMO..do not really refelect how this actually smells. It has a typical "body mist" scent.. No coffee...no sesame...maybe brown sugar...???.. orange a little fruitiness....no patchouli and ..ok..yeah...a weak sandalwoody-ish. Was very very cheaply priced,so,no major loss. I have smelled high priced scents that smell in the same vein as this one...lol. I also have the "Chocolate" scent coming from this line as well, and I am expecting the same dull results..lol..(maybe not..??). Also...low low sillage/projection. I always give scents a second or third "chance"..so I will try this on another day..and see what happens then. (BTW...the drydown ends up being lotion-y or shampoo-y.)
