This is the glistening sweat of the Greek fertility god Priapus after a frenzied sylvan romp on plush beds of flowers with Maenads and satyrs-it's dark and primeval undercurrent is sexy; yet this remains fresh and radiant while all the while radiating class, charisma and confidence in its warm sweet plush heart. HOMME FORTE is true modern masterpiece of fruity-floral coalesced into a woody spicy musk, sprinkled gently Oriental opulence without cloying or oppressing! DIVOON!! Sillage: 3.75/5 (moderate to heavy, above) Longevity: 4.75/5 (nearly 12 hours!) Overall: 4.5/5 (Fan-freaking-tastic!) I was going to give a 4/5 (8/10) and then I recalled that Seth uses only NATURAL isolates and essences in his fragrant formulae; therefore, this Line is even more impressive!! The only other House that comes to my mind that has this quality of perfume while being natural is House of Matriarch. Seth's scents, while maybe less polished or inspired, seem to preform better overall. NORMALLY I would balk at some college drop-out guy just setting out a shingle on Madison Ave and calling himself a perfumer and charging triple digit prices right off the bat; yet here it seems a diploma is less important than artful style, the title is deserved and the price justified. With something this unique I can only say IF you can get your nose on these I know you'll agree and see why I own five full bottles of this man's perfumes!! N.B.: By volume all SK scents are extrait strength *concentrated between 29-34%* with their labels read "eau" by necessity because of the alcohol-based atomizer format (ranging from 66-71% by volume). Their stellar longevity (lasting forever on clothing & fabrics) along with the manner in which they radiate (just enough to entice and intrigue, never seeming gauche nor annoying) showcases both the luxurious materials used and carefully finessed construction. All of this makes for a magnificent (and now rare and discontinued?) fragrance I feel truly blessed to own!
