Sex and the City By Night

Ha, this is one of those scents you just cannot predict. I bought this blindly in a shop , it was in a sale basket and a 100ml bottle cost 6.5 euros. A steal. The box is black, looks decent, not very high-end but still intriguing enough to give it a try. So I happily brought it home and prepared myself for a light , inoffensive and unoriginal scent you might expect from a tv show brand. I opened it and was happily surprised with the bottle: very classy and a nice addition to your shelf. I sniffed the bottle and thought : "Uh oh, what have I done". Yep, they didn't go easy on the musk. I no longer underestimated the fragrance and decided to test it on paper first. After a few seconds the smell became less overwhelming and I liked it. I even dared to wear it and although this is not my favourite scent and definitely not for all occasions, I do grab it from time to time. It is warm, different and perfect for winter and nighttime (Ok, the name 'by night' already gave it away of course). I can imagine lots of people detesting this perfume and accusing it of smelling 'old' or outdated. Yeah well, to each its own. Be warned: do not blind buy or only for a small price , it is not for the fainthearted.

I have it, and I like it, but not enough to wear it ... and I even like musky scents. This is too heavy even for me though. I think it would be better for a dude. Or maybe a grandmother. Definitely not a office work-scent.

This is a surprisingly fantastic (blind buy) scent, unfortunately it has the lasting power of Carrie's boyfriend from the episode 'Shortcomings.' :) That is to say, it has no lasting power whatsoever. I usually spray about 10-15 spritzes of this at once just to try and get a good 2 hours out of this. It's worth it though, cause this is a surprise winner. This scent smells like a mixture of pomegranate, vanilla orchid, musky patchouli and something similar to moth balls. I mean that in a highly complimentary way. I get many compliments on this when I wear it and although it's projection is terrible, I do find myself catching whiffs of it at random times throughout the day and it is so comforting. I like to spray it on myself before I go to bed and although the scent is long gone by morning, there's a lingering trail left on my covers that is heavenly. Found a small bottle in a discount store, and am on the lookout for a bigger bottle.

Loved it although it reminds me of Calvin Klein Euphoria. This has the same kind of opening juicy rich grapefruit and other notes like orchid flower. This is sweet and fruity floral and I wish it was stronger muskier more mysterious. But wait. It does turn darker. It becomes an aromatic patchouli. Even as such it remains feminine and sweet, subtle. It has a lovely jasmine and peony. It has vanilla. It has amber. It's never too much. A fruity floral patchouli with just the right amount of sex appeal. It's not like a sex bomb or aphrodisiac more like a perfume you smell on a girl and think mmmm she smells as good as she looks. It matches up with a little black dress or cocktail dress. Something to wear in a night club for dancing. Youthful, sexy and totally like I imagined it would smell like. This is a fragrance for all the cast members of Sex In The City. The bottle looks great. Love this perfume.

Amber, tonka beans, musk and a little pomegranate and then mild patchouli mixed with some flowers. I'm ok with wearing the deospray I have but I will not buy it again.

There is a sour note which makes it so unpleasant. The same sour note you get when sandalwood is too sour in perfumes

Musk a lot... I didn't like because this... The smell is a heavy musk and seens like a male parfum.
