L’Eau Sézane

I ordered L’eau Sézane Eau de Toilette after I got parcel from their website. When I opened I found beautiful and fresh scent inside. I wore my ordered jumper next day and I still could feel this beautiful smell. Scent is amazing in my opinion. Can be use everyday on skin or clothes. It’s very soft and it’s not long lasting, possibly because it’s EDT, but I still adore it. The bottle size is 260 ml. Sezane could create EDP more long lasting and stronger. Perfect for warmer days.

Gorgeousssss I love her! Easy to wear. Orange blossom peony really strong for me. Lots of compliments on this one, although she lasts longest on hair/clothes. I have to be careful with spraying this; sometimes feel like you accidentally end up eating it :

This fragrance is lovely. The citrus and peony blends perfectly. A lovely summery fragrance. Safe for a blind boy and reasonably priced.

This is a beautiful fragrance. I got a luxury sized sample in my last order and it's very pretty. It's mass-market appealing without smelling cheap. It's the French flower market smell turned into something that will appeal to anyone who likes florals. Somehow they've managed to make sure it doesn't have that "Grandma" quality that most French flower market fragrances have. Above all else, this fragrance is safe. It's not sexy. No one is going to chase you down the street to find out what you are wearing. But almost everyone who has sniffed through my fragrance collection has said "oh, this is surprisingly nice." Longevity and sillage are pretty bad, unless you use ancillaries or full-on bathe in it, but for an every day spring/summer or office fragrance, it's one of the safest options. You will smell pretty and classy every day. You will never offend a co-workers nostrils with this. But it's also forgettable.

I received a blouse from Sezane in the mail and upon opening the box this scent immediately wafted over me like a spring day. I purchased it within a matter of hours and can't wait to wear it. It's light and citrusy and a touch floral, which typically makes a scent very youthful, but this has a certain elegance to it that sets it apart. Updated: I've worn this scent for a few days now and unfortunately it is not very long-lasting, and has very low sillage. It also smells much more refreshing on clothes/fabrics; on me, it's a bit boring. I may use it as a house scent.

I smelled this while I was in the Sezane boutique and I was pleasantly surprised at the price given the luxe brand. It’s classy, fresh and pretty but not overpowering. It doesn’t last but maybe three hours on skin but it does go longer on clothes. For the price I think I’ll enjoy wearing it.

Smells very clean, fresh and classy. Perfect for the office. Not expensive for 260 ml you can find it at 65 EUR. Cute bottle.

I have bought a few items from Sézane, a French fashion brand, over the past couple of years. My mom received a miniature of L'Eau Sézane with a recent clothing purchase, so naturally I was keen to try it. ES smells familiar - they definitely spray their online orders with this, but I hadn't been able to try it on my skin until now. ES is a nondescript, fairly bland citrus floral. It is not my type of scent anyway, but it isn't a particularly good example of its genre either. It is sharp up top, but mellows somewhat as it progresses. ES opens with an alcoholic haze, alongside a harsh lemon note that dominates the opening. This phase is as unpleasant as it sounds - sharp and astringent, almost hairspray-like. Aquatic florals follow, thin and slightly sweet, a predictable progression from the citric opening. I get slightly sweet peony, followed by thin, musky-but-clean jasmine. Some woodiness emerges as it dries down, fading to a musky-woody skin scent, sheer until final fade. Sillage is moderate and longevity is weak. It is a spring/summer day scent, feminine-leaning in my opinion. A dull citrus-led aquatic floral, ES is much nicer when sprayed on tissue paper than when worn as a perfume. To me, it is reminiscent of a D&G Light Blue knock-off. Sézane should focus on clothing instead. 2/5.

This is a fairly standard "perfume-y" scent. Safe for offices or other environments where a louder perfume would not be acceptable. Its is pretty, but safe. The sillage is low and sits close, making it unobtrusive. For me, the aldehydes make it too reminiscent of hairspray and it feels a little dated. The citrus is the strongest note. I find that the florals all blend together and result in a sort of generic "floral" smell, which I would generally associate with a lower price body spray. This isn't an insult, it's a nice enough scent, just something you will have definitely smelt before. Nothing niche or interesting about this. I wouldn't repurchase this but at the same time its basic enough that I don't think it's a scary blind buy. You won't hate it. It's a "meh" at worse.

I received a massive 260 ml bottle for free during the opening of a Sezanne store in my city. It is a solidly ok scent and I will never finish the bottle. It is a fairly generic fruity floral - not offensive nor interesting in any way. I probably won't declutter it at this point, but if a friend loved it, I would give it away without a second thought.

Smells nearly identical to a no-name peony perfume I bought at Forever 21 at the age of 12. I do quite like the scent, in part since I find it highly nostalgic, but I can't imagine wearing it regularly, as it gets nauseating quick.

It's a pretty Earl Grey Green Tea scent. Nothing original about it. Longevity is zero and sillage therefore also non-existent.

Strong aldehydes and citrus with some vague white florals, I pick up no jasmine or peony. It has a Grandma vibe to it I don't really like, it is also very strong. If your into that kind thing its great for spring and summer.

I love love looooooved this when I smelled a hint of it in my Sezane order. It was magical. Chic, delicate, so very French and nonchalant. So I quickly got my hands on a mini and didn't like it - just a harsh-ish and boring citrus. This is the second perfume I've encountered that I absolutely loved when it's barely there and not at all when I actually smell it (the other is Diptyque's Orpheon). It's a maddening quality and makes me feel like I can't ever really have that scent, it's like a shadow that you chase that you can never grasp.

This is very nice, very french, office safe (ie: quite boring). A pretty major un-mentioned note for me is black pepper though? Classy - like grown up coco madmoiselle. Incredibly close to the skin - I have to shove my nose into my wrist to smell it.

This really reminds me of the early 2000s Stella McCartney perfume in the iconic purple bottle!
