Hamlet

I bought this for my very non-fragrance interested book nerd boyfriend. I went to try a sample bcs Hamlet is his favourite play, but I wasn't sure if I would like it based on the scent profile, and because I don't typically like rose, but I was soooo blown away and bought it on the spot. I'm always obsessed whenever he wears it around me, it smells so good and I can't get enough of sniffing him lol. Literally smells like if he was a prince in an ancient castle on a moor. It has really great projection and longevity on it too, I can smell it for the whole day. The beautiful bottle is a plus.

I'm liking this scent! Slightly creamy, yet clean and fresh with citrus, florals, patchouli and a gentle muskiness. The base notes are not heavy at all and cannot detect the heavier notes as the previous comment has said also. In fact, I find the tones uplifting and sweet ... But not too sweet. I requested this as a sample and will be buying for my spring scent and I look forward to researching and testing Shakespeare perfumes based on this sample.

Wow. This is slept on. Incredible juice. Definitely not Epic, Interlude or Encre Noire. Can’t even place them anywhere near this. I’ve never smelled Lyric, so can’t comment there. This is fresh, musky and slightly floral. As somebody who avoids rose, I was talked into this and I’m glad I was. The rose is there but it’s barely noticeable because it’s blended so well. For $89 AUD, I feel like I’ve robbed this. 9/10. Banger.

Creamy floral scent with a dab of sweetness and musk. That pretty much sums this one up. A creamy sandalwood base with creamy orris root and fig blended nicely with floral notes and barely there citruses. Those heavy base notes listed are undetectable so don't freak out as there is no oud birch or patchouli at least on my skin. Easily worn by both genders and easily likeable but not loveable.

It seems any random group of listable things is now a suitable excuse for a new fragrance line: animals, cities, professions, gemstones, racehorses, ...so why not Shakespeare's plays?
