Rose Silk

Pretty! It definitely smells like classic, simple, clean, feminine rose perfume, with the addition of a hefty dose of wonderfully plush magnolia. Thankfully, there is no hint of powder or staleness. Rose Silk is not complex at all, nor is it a stunner, but it is a pleasant and elegant scent. This perfume is rather light and scent strength weakens over time, but I get a good work day's worth of perfume hanging around. I find myself catching whiffs even when I get home.

The opening reminds me of (vintage) Extravagance d'Amarige from Givenchy. Not a dupe in any way, but it has the same - wonderful - vibe. I have yet to experience its longevity, but if it is really only 4 hours, I will certainly be disappointed. If it is more, this may very well become a new favourite.

Soft and warm, lasted a good 5 hours on me, which is great because most fragrances I've tried so far can only hang on for 3 at best. Reminds me of old Korean ladies houses (which I used to frequent as a child) for some reason. Nostalgic, inoffensive, and pretty! I love it

No wonder these were discontinued, the bottles are not airtight and the perfume evaporates at an alarming rate. I’ve used this about twice and it is now only a quarter full, same with the Gold Lily that I own.

I had never heard of this designer but saw the perfume today and the packaging caught my attention. I'm a rose lover, so I decided to blind buy it, which was a mistake. It's not bad in any way, but incredibly "nondescript", as another reviewer stated. It's one of those very thin, rose scents that you would expect to find in a clear bottle with generic packaging. A very forgettable, inoffensive, watered down floral that leaves no lasting impression. Not worth the price. I do like the bottle though.
