Shania Starlight

I really wish Shania would come back out with this one. It was my signature when I was younger. Ohhh the memories❤️

STARLIGHT, star bright...this fragrance is oh so RIGHT!!! :-)

I really like this perfume very classy the only problem I have is with the bottle. It kills my hand when I'm spraying the perfume cause of all the points on it. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful bottle but it hurts. LOL

Just received this for my birthday after much debate, I am very glad I bought it, it isn't like any other perfume I own it is sweet, and flowery. A summery day scent, reminds me of being carefree easy going!

It smells pretty good. Starlight definitely has a spicy kick to it. If nothing else, the bottle would make a wonderful weapon if one is ever attacked in the boudoir -- what a sweet bludgeoning.

Starlight is a beautiful name but the fragrance inside the star-shaped bottle was a big disappointment for me. It smells like shampoo or hair product and not of a good quality. The scent opens with an extremely synthetic citrus and freesia combo, which does not smell that great to my nose. Then the scent develops into some kind of a floral bouquet but again all I smell is a synthetic, strange scent, which does not resemble real flowers at all. The dry down is non-existent. The scent is gone within 1 hour. I have to give this fragrance 3/10. I am such a big fan of Shania’s musical talent but I would not recommend this scent.

Apparently my chemistry and this juice don't mix well at all. From the first sniff to the very last, all I get is the odor of a strong chemical mess. Sharp and painful even. This is a definite scrubber for me! I have the shower gel and body lotion to go with the frag...after using the shower gel I had to re-suds up with soap just to get this stink off. Never again!

I like this scent. It is fresh, light and somewhat prickly. It lasts quite a while on me, remains floral until the drydown. The sandalwood and amber are predominant notes that linger close to the skin... I don't find it to resemble Shanaia, the original at all. It has an evening aura to it, yet is crisp and light.

Oh goodness, this smells terrible. It's very cheap and synthetic, "Bathroom Air Freshener On An Airplane"-type stuff. Aerosol-esque magnolia and something sharper, but not much else... after 20 minutes, I had to change clothes to get away from that horrendous odor. Ick.

On me, it smells sweet and sour. I can definitally smell the freesia. It is a strong perfume and lasts well. A little goes a long way. I was looking for a pefume called: "Jungle Gardenia". I read that the actress Natalie Wood wore this perfume. In a book by Robert Wagner "Pieces of my heart" he said: She smelled it from the actress Barbara Stanwyck and liked it. I love Natalie Wood and I also have a fear of drowning. I love perfume that smells like rain or fresh water though, strangely enough. I usually always avoid perfume with any musk. It smells like a garden in the south. I grew up in the country in the south west and it smells like a field of flowers.

This is an abosolutely gorgous scent! I was surprised because I can't stand the original Shania Twain scent (its awful!!!) but I really love this scent alot! I have bottles of it everywhere in my house. My only "Beef" with scent is it is cheap and does not last long! Stetson is not exactly a cream of the crop line of fragrance. All the nice scents are getting slowly watered down anymore. Its a shame because thats how businesses go down-GREED! This is no exception to what could be a good scent but weak and whimpy!

In all my years of collecting and smelling fragrances, this is the only fragrance that made me almost immediately throw up after smelling it(I'm not kidding.) Maybe it was the musky balsamic element to it...I don't know; however, in my opinion, it has very a common powdery synthetic scent that can be very overwhelming. This one is a big pass for me.

Not much in the way of the base notes, but the others seem present and it's reasonably natural smelling. I don't get the hair spray or shampoo elements that others do. I do get the crisp fruit and florals, with the florals being at least a bit stronger. Overall, not bad at all, and the strength is at least good.

I have a love/hate relationship with this perfume. When I first got it, I adored it and I still do from time to time. I'm not good at describing notes in perfume but I will say that this has good staying power on me and dries down to a soft, lovely, somewhat powdery scent.

On my skin this smells good. I got the whole gift set for $25 online. i'm getting a light Finesse shampoo note from it on my skin. my mom tested and it stinks on her like spit. Oh well works for me. test this first online u can get it cheap

This is a nice lasting floral on me. Being southern myself, I would say a nice flower garden in the early evening. I like it, and the bottle is nice as well. If you like sweetish floral garden smells, you may like this.

I love Shania Starlight. It smells very outdoorsy to me, like a winter's night air. And I disagree with others, it lasts a long time on me. More than a lot of other more expensive perfumes. I layer it with the lotion.

I love Shania's original scent but have never tried Starlight. If I enjoy her original fragrance does anyone think I will like this? I'm considering buying a small bottle of this to try out.

This is a very nice smelling perfume. It's a very strong and musky scent and lasts a long time. The bottle is oddly shaped and made it hard to spray because of the sharp egdes.
