Blueberry Musk

Mmm..... Gorgeous. Fabulous blueberryish opening but there is also lots of magnolia and musk. The orange gives this slight sweet juicy effect. For most of the timeline I find the magnolia, blueberry, musk dominate with a little neroli and wood notes in the background. I admit I was a touch cautious testing this. The blueberry note worried me. If someone asked my first impression of this lovely creation I would say bright, fresh, floral, fruity with a decent dose of musk. Natural smelling and very ladylike. I could imagine Duchess Kate wearing this. Moderate sillage and longevity

I really loved my sample of Blueberry musk and have put it on my 'wish list'. It's plain lighthearted, fruity fun. Wears well on me and does not transmute into a stinker (as some musks do) Blueberry is a note I don't see that often but here it works well. I recommend sampling.

A beautiful musk with a very romantic orange and blueberry background. A very nice fragrance,very versatile and well balanced. The drydown is a soft moss that evokes memories... really beautiful! Sillage: 6./10 Longevity: 7.5/10 Scent: 8.5/10 Overall: 8.5/10

Recently, I got a sample of this perfume and I like it well enough. The opening is bursting with juice: plenty of orange accented with magnolia. The dry down after about an hour is when the blueberry emerges, and its sweetness is rounded out by the musk, which makes for a solid balance overall. For me, the sillage was decent (about arms length) and decreased in projection around the six hour mark. In the end, I appreciated the blueberry note and how it didn't read as aggressively sweet so much as a comforting musk accompanied by a juiciness.

This is giving soapy and perfumey rather than juicy and fruity. If there are any blueberries to be found, it is in the greenery of a wild blueberry with just a hint of tartness from being underripe. Not your gourmand fruity floral, if that is what you're expecting. I do enjoy it, but was very light on the sprays as soapy fragrances tend to be harsh and can cause a headache. It's unique and not what I was expecting, which is always fun. I will enjoy the sample and might get a decant of this one.

Blueberry Musk was a real surprise to me. It's not at all sweet, and comes across more aquatic than floral or fruity. It does not resemble blueberries. At least not the Scandinavian kind, which is the kind I know best. In fact, my first thought was water based wall paint. I'm not saying I'm not into that – I actually quite enjoy Blueberry Musk – but it sure wasn't what I expected. It doesn't lean either masculine or feminine to me, is very fresh and quite different to anything else I've tried.

Aptly named, the most realistic interpretation of blueberry I have ever smelled in a fragrance coupled with musky and floral undertones. If you like smelling like a blueberry, then this is for you. Blueberry Musk is more feminine-leaning, IMO, but the right type of guy could pull this off (don't pay attention to that "all-genders" nonsense that S&B promotes, most of their fragrances are feminine). Longevity was moderate. Not bad, but not for me.

It’s very light and inoffensive, perfect for for warmer weather. I got a slight whiff of blueberry and what may have been vanilla about twenty minutes after I put it on. Other than a brief whiff of citrus, I didn’t notice any other notes than those. I got a wear time of about four hours, which is OK, but not enough to encourage me to hunt it down. I could see it working out well as a good first scent for a younger wearer.

Nice. Unlike some other reviewers, I do get the blueberry. But this is primarily a musk scent with fruit and floral accents. It's vastly better than Shay & Blue's other berry fragrance, Framboise Noire, which is way too sweet and synthetic-smelling. And it seems to have better longevity than S&B's White Peaches (which I otherwise love). Recommended for musk lovers who want just a touch of summer fruit freshness.

I spayed the whole tester, at the very end, after the alcohol I did finally ‘get’ blueberry but it was fleeting. This is perfectly pleasant, generic and a bit dull. Not every perfume has to be a performance piece but when it’s as tame and office safe as this I would save my money and go play in M&S fragrance where the range is vast, prices are low and quality the same or better.

It kinda smells like blueberry aftershave and I'm not complaining.

If it didn’t have “blueberry” in the name, I would have never assumed this was supposed to be a blueberry scent. I don’t get blueberry at all from this. It’s mostly just vague citrus and clean musks. Super fresh and lightweight. Inoffensive. Boring. I already smell like some iteration of this after I step out of the shower without the help of fragrance. The white flowers in the mid warm it up a little once it dries. As others have said, this lasts for all of 2 seconds before it becomes nothing, so you might as well save your money for a better freshie. Pass. 1/10

The first breath is a splash of orange, then the blueberries take over, juicy with a hint of mint. Wet musk supports the fruit, like a glass jar holding the jam. A puff of cream, a sprinkle of salt, and a breath of orange flower water to keep it from being too sugary. It's elegant and posh but slightly unusual--a bride in icy blue silk rather than white, or patent leather Mary Janes in navy instead of black. Lingers six inches above the skin for a few sweet hours.

I don't dislike this scent but I have no idea why it's marked as blueberry. It's very floral with a hint of citrus (that will be gone by the time its dried down) but it didn't smell like blueberry at all. Not bad, but not accurately named for how it smells. Very light and not the most significant scent, quite dull but it's not offensive on the nose at all. Not super worth the money. It's just okay

Super clean with a faint, nondescript fruity note. I could not identify it as blueberry or even be sure it was a berry. No citrus found either. This is pleasant and fresh but disappointing. I'm still searching for that real, wild blueberry scent. Review of official carded spray sample that came free with purchase.

Agree with other reviewers - this is not a blueberry scent lol. Its very floral and lightly musky. I could barely detect any blueberry at all except a vague sweetness. Heavy on the orange blossom and magnolia, not a lot else. Not offensive to my nose though

I tried a sample of this but it was awful. It just smelled like alcohol, I couldn't smell any of the notes. I think it's probably my body chemistry though, because I gave it to someone else to try and it actually smelled completely different and really nice on her? It still wasn't exactly strong but I could smell a realistic blueberry scent. The difference was so bizarre. You can get much nicer perfumes for a better price so I'd give it a miss if you're on the fence about trying it.

Hard pass, this whole brand isn't great, longevity and sillage are like nothing. Seriously it's so poor that I wondered if my sample was literally just water. After 5 sprays I can smell something, super light non offensive, but seriously you're better off just skipping perfume instead of wasting money on something like this... you're better off with a BBW or Victoria secret mist... so light it's basically nonexistent. The smell reminds me of something else but this so faint I can't figure it out.

This is a soft, musky and only slightly sweet scent. I had been hoping that this fragrance would fruitier and more aromatic, truer to the scent of blueberries, without steering into the territory of cloyingly sweet or cheap. The notes seemed to reflect exactly this, but I almost exclusively get musk and florals (barely any blueberry if any) making this one very inoffensive but also not that special. There is something very green and maybe wet/bitter to it, not sure how to put it into words. The best way I can describe it is as a mixture of Nivea creme and a stereotypical fresh cheapie from a drugstore (but more refined). As I was on the search for the ultimate blueberry this one was unfortunately not for me, but it is relatively easy to like. Sillage and longevity are just about okay.

Very pretty and fruity, soft, feminine and a little dishsoapy in the drydown. Almost 100% identical to Guess 1981 indigo for her, of which I happen to own a fb, so you know I like this, too. Sadly, like 1981, blueberry musk is not a good performer. Even more sadly, unlike 1981, this isn't something you can buy at rite aid for $17, so it's going to be a no for me.
