The Ginza

This perfume is incredibly beautiful and feminine, just like the stunning clear and iridescent stopper bottle that it is housed in. Everything about this fragrance feels luxe, right down to the box it comes in that slides open and has a white satin background to cushion the perfume inside the box. The Ginza of course smells divine, mainly focusing on the linden blossom, followed by jasmine, lily of the valley, ylang ylang and rose. I can smell all of the different citruses and violet leaf at the beginning and the woods, musk, benzoin and brown sugar in the dry down, but they never overpower the florals in this and they aren't heavy. It is basically a slightly citrusy white and yellow floral hybrid fragrance. I could imagine this being perfect in the spring or summer for daytime wear and being worn by a sophisticated woman with a very bright and sunny disposition. It is a soft and not at all cloying fragrance, but it still has both moderate sillage and moderate wear time on my skin. It lasts just over 5 hours on my skin. I bought this fragrance while at the amazing Shiseido brands flagship store in Ginza while I was in the lovely Tokyo. It was an absolutely stunning store and this perfume is a memento of me visiting it. Altogether, I'd give this fragrance an 8.5/10. It reminds me of Unter Den Linden by April Aromatics, but I prefer Unter Den Linden slightly more than this perfume by The Ginza.

A wonderful Japanese white floral scent. The fresh green & citrus scent of "Sudachi" that scents only for a moment on the top note. this moment, I was impressed, "I may never have smelled such a refreshing flower perfume!" But, The top note of the masterpiece is just for a moment. After that, the classic white floral perfume "L'EAU D'ISSEY" changes to a scent that is less powdery. But I love L'EAU D'ISSEY ... 30 years later, I still don't feel old. And it is no exaggeration to say that this perfume is upward compatible with L'EAU D'ISSEY. In the case of Eau de Parfum, the price is about twice that of L'EAU D'ISSEY. Believe in your nose if it's worth paying this amount.

Brilliant and gorgeous, there are many fresh flowers blooming, with a bit of green. Like the translucent golden glitters, graceful, and a little ethereal. It includes high quality natural ingredients, and the vibe is more modern than many Shiseido perfumes. Not sopy, not cosmetic-like. Makes people feel very cheerful.
